This post is for the bronies among us, not expecting everyone to like it but the concept behind this whole thing is amazing. I recently watched a review of MLP that mentioned they sampled Barbra Streisand's Putting it Together. I thought it was kinda whooey since people have made bolder claims before. I recently decided to look it up and turns out he was right! Just watch the vid!

Isn't that shit cool?!? It matches up with the original song in parts almost seamlessly. The new song, Art of the Dress is really just a sped up, re-worded cover more than a sample. Coming from someone in film, the amount of effort the production team had to put into making this omage is incredible especially when you consider it was done for a show intended for little girls, and I assume, at the time of writing this song they had not yet had the brony phenomenon happen yet. Knowing this the small fraction of parents that would actually watch this show, there was even a smaller fraction of adults who would catch it. Thought it was cool, maybe Im super slow and everyone else knew this but I found it interesting and wanted to share.
