The day was bright as Ki slipped out of Cash, locked the stream lined silver Saleen S7, before heading across the parking lot towards the new Library, the wind blowing his waist length hair about while his ears twitched atop his head and his tail flicked and curled behind him.

The sun glittered off the black leather vest and pants he wore, while his silver blued eyes danced across the lot and up the stairs to the Library. 'Not bad.' he thought as he jogged up the stairs and through the doors, pausing when he caught the scent of new paint, wood and books.

Grinning he headed towards the back where they had several plush chairs and round tables with wall wall bookcases. His eyes scanning over books, even as his ears twitched with the soft whispers of other people who had sought out the Library today.
 
Nate was in the very back of the library with a large list of books that needed to be looked over. He wore a nice fitting soft white sweater, faded jeans, boots and a pair of thin, silver framed glasses. Baby blue eyes looked at the books before him as a soft frown formed on his handsome ivory skinned face. Long blonde hair fell down his back in a loose ponytail while bangs fell over his eyes some and his sides to his shoulders. Carrying the large load of books as well, he looked over his section one more time before he clicked his tongue out of boredom. 'What did they want me to do again?' he wondered and stepped back only to loose his footing a bit and stumble right into a passerby. "ACK!" came his soft medium voice as he crashed into whoever it was beneath him now. "S-Sorry! Oh my god i'm s-so sorr-" He froze immediately when he heard his boss scream his name, getting the attention of all the peope in the floor with them. "H-Hai?" he asked weakly and looked up to see a rather large and hair male before him only to squeak when he was yanked up roughly by the collar of his shirt. "What did I tell you about being a clutz in MY business?!" he snapped and Alex looked defeated. "I-I'm sorry sir!" -Done
 
Having not really been paying attention to where he was going, Ki turned a corner and grunted when he ran into someone and fell to the ground, only to have the air leave his lungs when that same person landed on top of him. Groaning slightly as his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, Ki looked up as the person began to speak and watched him silently, stunned by the males beauty. "It's oka.." he frowned when someone yelled and the kid froze.

Ki frowned when he was suddenly jerked up off of him and narrowed his eyes at the male who held him by the collar of his sweater. Slowly Ki stood, his silver blues eyes locked on the angry man as his ears twitched from his yell. "You know, you should yell at your help. Especially when it wasn't his fault." he stated coldly, as he brushed his hair back over his shoulders as he stood to his full height, eyes hard as he glared at the man. "Let the kid go and stop yelling, your hurting my ears."
 
The man turned his eyes to the male beside him and growled before tossing Alex to him hard. "You can have the little bitch! HE'S FIRED!" he hissed before turning and stomping off. Shaking against the man he was thrown into, thin fingers curled into the mans shirt as he pressed closer into him with tears threatening to fall. He listened to the people in the library as they all started to whisper and stare in their direction. "I d-didn't mean to invo-involve you..." he whispered weakly, his voice coarse as he buried his face in the mans shirt. He continued still to tremble as the mans voice belowed his name once more and he heard his back full of important papers being tossed his direction, landing behind him after it slammed into his back hard causing him to press more into the male before him. This time the tears fell and he pulled quickly from the tall, built male, grabbed his bag and ran from the building with his ex boss growling at someone else. Once outside the building, Alex hid his face in the palm of his hand, weeping at the idea of going home to tell his roommate he'd lost his job and have him kicked out again. "What do I do?" he whispered as his voice cracked and he wiped madly at his eyes before walking towards his house.

-30 minutes later...-

Alex stood on the edge of the road that led outside of town with one large bag and a small shoulder bag full of papers. 'I knew this would happen.' Looking down the long road outside of town, he bit his lower lip and started walking. He knew the closest friend who would let him stay for a bit lived nearly three hours away but he had no choice in the matter. An hour passed as he walked and as he did the clouds darkened only to open up and cold rain fell hard. Drenched with hair in his face, clothes clinging to his chilled form and a pale face, Alex kept on walking even though his feet hurt. Several cars had stopped to offer a ride but he was nice enough to turn them down. He didn't like rides from people he didn't know but he was more than pissed off that he turned the last one down nearly twenty minutes ago. "Kicking me out because I lost my job. He lost his and I didn't kick HIM out!" he growled. Stopping suddenly, his baby blue eyes caught sight of an old bench with a small roof over it. Within minutes he was on the bench, bags on his side and hugging himself as he shivered, sneezing from the cold rain only to jump when lightening struck suddenly. 'This storm keeps getting worse then i'll end up sleeping here. What a bother.' came a thought as he sneezed again, hugging himself even more with his knees against his chest. -Done
 
Having had the kid tossed into him by the man, Ki gently wrapped his arms about him and glared with rage filled silver blue eyes in the mans direction, his ears twitching towards each whisper from the other patrons of the library. Only to look down at the kid. But before he could say it was okay, the boys backpack slammed into his back causing the kid to press closer before pulling away and fleeing from him and the library after snagging his bag.

Growling lowly Ki turned his eye's onto the man across the room yelling at one of his other workers. Moving purposefully but with anger and a steady motion Ki made his way to the man's side. "Leave." he told the girl who was struggling not to cry. "Bathroom is down the hall." he stated, before turning his attention to the man beside him who was staring at him with his mouth open and face red. But before he could start yelling at him Ki's eyes narrowed with rage thick in their depths. "I was told that you would be the best to manage this Library. But now I see that you have anger problems as well as the fact that you can't deal with teenagers or young adults, unless they are bound and tied." he stated, catching slight images from the mans mind of how the girl would have looked bound to his bed.

He growled as he leaned towards the male, his eyes flashing slit gold for just a brief second before returning to silver blue. "Your fired, Mr. Milton. I don't want to see you come tomorrow. Also I want you out of Grand View, Missouri by the end of the weekend. Otherwise I will inform the police of your...side work." he stated as he turned his tail lashing behind him and heading for the exit. {{figured we could deal with this first and the next Ki finds the kid on the side of the road while sitting at the bench}} DONE
 
A book flew across the room suddenly and slammed into the males back before he could leave. "Fire me?! I don't think so! I was hired to run this library the way I saw fit you little prick and there is NOTHING you can do about it!" Reaching under the desk, he pulled out a thirty mm. pistol and held it at the taller male across the room. People in the library were screaming now, afraid that his attention would turn to someone else. It was a clear sign that the man holding the gun was losing his mind, if not lost it already, and he was going to finish the job regardless. A girl turned the corner not hearing the commotion that was going on and walked right in front of the angry manager who held the pistol, now, at her. "MOVE!!" he growled and the girl hit the floor suddenly, covering her head with her backback, crying hysterically. "GET OUT ALL OF YOU!" Everyone in the building ran for their lives, pushing past Ki and out the door. When everyone had vacated the building he turned his attention to the male again with a dark look. "Now then..." His thick finger began to pull the trigger slowly as a cold smile crossed his face. "Time to say goodbye boy." -Done
 
At the feel of the book hitting his back, Ki paused before he turned and glared across the room at the male, his head cocking ever so slightly. Only to straiten when he pulled a gun and snarled lowly. Silently he watched the man, standing just several feet from where the door was as everyone began to scream and rush from the library. He was happy that no one would be in the room as this went down. His silver blue eyes locked on the male, ignoring the gun pointed at him.

"Mr Milton...that gun wont save you. Why don't you put it away. Otherwise you wont leave this building whole." he stated as he stepped sideways just as the gun went off and struck the door where he had just stood and looked at the hole before looking back at the man. "Your trying my patients Mr. Milton. And to inform you, I can fire you, since I hired you." he stated as he slowly moved towards the deranged man, his motions slow and precise.
 
The manager fell back to the floor, his body shaking as sweat began to run down his face. "I-I'll get you for this!" he screamed while running, if you could call it that, from the building and out. Once he was in the parking lot, he reached into his pocket furiously and pulled his keys free to unlock his car only to cry out when they slipped and fell down the drain the rain was rushing into. "NO!" he shrieked, hitting his knees and shoving his fat face against the bars, looking for the keys he'd apparently lost. -Done
 
Ki chuckled softly as he followed the male who ran from the building and soon caught up to him, cocking a brow at seeing him on the ground with his face pressed into bars belonging to a drain. "Loose something?" he asked in a casual tone, even as he finished sending a text to a friend of his, his eyes never leaving the man. "I do believe we have unfinished business, don't you think, Mr. Milton."
 
"I'll leave ok?! J-Just don't tell anyone about my j-job!" he cried out, sitting up on his knees with a look of defeat on his face. He was almost on the verge of tears just as the rain started to come down even more. "I beg you! Don't tell anyone please!" He was now crying hysterically, afraid that the man wouldn't keep his word and he'd end up going to prison. -Done

(Ok, so... lol I think he's pretty much just going to leave after this. LOL What a douche!)
 
Ki snorted as he looked down at the man with disgust evident on his face. "You have an hour to get home and out of town before the Cops show up." he stated, as he held up his right hand and fetched the keys the man left. "I also suggest that you find a new hobby. I'll know if you lay a hand on either another girl or boy." his eyes grew cold and hard as he stepped forward reached down and yanked the blubbering man to his feet by his arm, which he gripped tightly. "Do you understand me!?"

At his jerky nod Ki released him and handed his keys back before turning away and heading for Cash. "You have 50 minutes and 35 seconds, Mr. Milton."

Minutes later Ki was driving away, his thoughts on the kid as he left town and headed for his country house, a frown marring his features as he recalled how the kid pressed closer before he had fled.
 
-Later that night-

Alex had no more need of the bench considering he was freezing to death with the rain coming down and the wind blowing hard. He had walked slower than before in the rain with his bag on his back and the other on his shoulder. He didn't know where he was and it was at that point he really didn't care anymore. He was hungry, hurting, cold, probably sick now and just wanted to go to sleep. Walking into the woods on his right, the drenched male stumbled as he made his way deeper into it. A fallen tree with a seemed to provide some kind of warmth with the large hole in it and Alex found that to be more than a welcome to him. Getting his bags inside the tree, the blonde crawled inside with them, half his body uncovered as he turned his face from the rain to sleep. It was cold, wet and smelt weird inside the tree but he wasn't about to complain since he was some what dry now. -Done
 
Muttering a curse under his breath, Ki pulled up out side his cottage, turned Cash of and slid out, ignoring the rain as it drenched him in seconds. His attention was being pulled towards the woods that were part of his property and frowned as he reached out, searching for the disturbance that seemed to ripple through the shielding he had placed around it to keep unsavory people from desecrating it. Specially since some old animals lived there as well as some ancient trees long dead except for here.

His head cocked when he felt a presence in the forest and sighed softly when he felt no hostility, but he did feel... "Pain,hunger,cold and...sickness!" he murmured as he straightened up and sighed. "Time to go hunting." he muttered as he moved towards the woods.
 
Hugging himself the best he could, Alex crawled out of the fallen tree and shivered more as he got right back into the rain he was getting out of. 'Damn. It's cold out here!' he thought and sneezed over and over. Remembering where he'd left his bags, he began to walk slowly through the woods once more. His hair, free of it's hold, was clinging to his face, neck, shoulders and back as he stumbled again. Hitting his knees in the muddy dirt, the blonde shook his head and sniffed once again as he raised a paler face to the rain. "Is this how it ends?" he whispered, closing his baby blue eyes as he unhugged himself and held his arms out, giving up. "Take me then. You've tormented me long enough so, do it." Lightening struck not far behind and he whipped his head around to see that it caught the tree his stuff was in and jumped to his feet. Running to the wood that was now on fire, Alex dropped to his knees with wide eyes and reached inside the flames to grab his items. "AGHHHH!" filled the woods suddenly when the fire wrapped around his arms and sent pain to his chest. -Done
 
Having reached the woods, Ki leaped forward heading for where he felt the disturbance but paused when he saw lightning strike than smoke, even through the rain and knew that a tree had been struck. Cursing he sped forward his silver blues shifting to slit gold, only to jerk and stumble when a burning pain ripped along his arm and a scream split through the air.

Grabbing that pain, Ki teleported and knocked the human who's arm was on fire to the ground and began to quickly swat it our, muttering under his breath. Sighing he looked from the burned arm to the human's face and froze as his eyes widened when he saw that it was the kid from the library.

"You!?" he said softly, even as he began to rip the bottom of his shirt and started to wrap it around the kids arm. His hair plastered to his face, neck and down his back. "How did you get here?"
 
Alex couldn't talk as he trembled in the pain that rippled through his body. With his left hand, he gripped the males shirt before him and pulled him down. "T-Take me to th-the hospital?" he begged with nothing but pain in his eyes. It hurt so bad and he was feeling stupid as tears fell from his watery eyes which turned to the tree to watch the last of what was left burn away. "My cl-clothes." he whispered and hissed, arching as pain slammed into him when he moved his injured arm. "KYAAAA!" came a scream as he released the male quickly and tried to push himself to stand. -Done
 
Ki didn't react when the kid grabbed him, nor when he pushed him away and tried to stand. Sighing he shook his head and lifted him into his arms as he stood and turned back towards his home.

"Easy kid. I've got you." he said softly, using his empathy to dull the pain and moved quickly but gently through the woods.
 
-Few hours later-

Slowly opening his eyes, Alex froze the moment they settled and he was in a room he didn't recognize. 'What... Where am I?' he thought as he sat up slowly and winced as a little bit of pain coursed down his arm. "Right... He was there. So this must be his place?" Biting his bottom lip, he slid from the comfortable bed and blushed suddenly when he realized he was bare except for his boxers. "Um...yeah." His body was well built for someone who hid in nice clothes but now he was revealed to anyone who saw him. "Why am I basically naked?" His now dry hair fell down his back, slowly swaying to the middle of it as he began to leave the room. Peeking his head out the doorway, Alex looked down the hall through blonde hair that fell in his face. -Done
 
A soft tinkling sound echoed in Ki's mind, letting him know that his spell to alert him when the kid woke up, was actually working, he shook his head and left the soup to simmer on low and headed out of the kitchen and into the hallway. He smiled when he saw the kid, his face nearly concealed by his hair.
"Good morning. How are you feeling?" he asked as he paused to pick up a bundle on a side table and stopped before him, holding the now clean and dry clothes out to him.

"They were muddy and wet, so I washed them. And I cleaned and tended to your arm. It'll hurt for a while but not as bad as when it happened." he said smiling at him as his ears twitched and his tail curled. "Why don't you take a shower and get dressed, than come to the Kitchen. I've got home made Chicken Noodle soup cooking."

With another smile, when the kid took his clothes, Ki bowed his head slightly, causing his braids to slid over his shoulders and down his chest, before he turned and headed back to the kitchen.
 
Alex smiled as he made his way to the bathroom to shower. A little bit passed before he walked out in his faded jeans and socks only, his damp hair in a loose braid down his back as he made his way to the kitchen. When he got there he spotted the male from earlier and smiled warmly at him as baby blue eyes seemed more alive than when they'd met. "Well, I should at least tell you who I am. I mean, I can't keep assuming I should call you 'hey you'." he chuckled softly. "Mine is Alexander Creil. I go by Alex though even though I don't really have friends to call me that." His fingers laced themselves together behind his back as he rocked on his heels slowly. "So... You must be new since i've never seen you before. That or i've never met you considering I don't really get out much." A soft blush crossed his face suddenly as he looked away from him embarrassed when he realized he was babbling now. 'Shut up, Alex! Jeez!' he thought and blushed more. -Done
 
Ki smiled as he looked over his shoulder, eyes glittering. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alex. I'm Shiro Ki Savage. Friends and Family call me Ki. Sometimes Shiro." he said as he turned and sat a bowl down on the table along with a glass of iced tea and a spoon with a plate of buttered bread.
Turning back to the stove he filled a bowl for himself turned and sat down motioning for Alex to join him.

"I am new here. Moved her bout a year ago. Historical Library was my project." he said with a grin as he took a bit of the soup watching him.
 
Alex sat across from him and raised the spoon to his lips, blowing softly before he sipped slowly. "Mmm..." came a soft moan as he closed his eyes. The soup was amazing and he'd never felt more welcome than he did now. "I loved the library and I only just started working there a week ago. ...My ex roommate was a jerk and demanded I get a job so he shoved a reseme under their door." A soft frown appeared until he shook his head, his side brushing his bare shoulders as bangs fell over his eyes. "I will leave tomorrow. You've already done enough for me and...I lost everything that belonged to me in that fire." There was a look of pain and loss in his eyes but that didn't last long as he smiled quickly. "But I can always start over again." -Done
 
A soft smile curled Ki's lips as he took a sip of his tea. "I'm sorry that Mr. Milton treated you the way he did. That was uncalled for." he shook his head and sighed. "He came well recommended, but turned out to be a royal asshole. He's been taken care of." he stated as he took another bite. Only to shake his head again, causing his braids to sing softly.

"Don't worry about it. I've got a spare room, which you woke up in, and you can have your job back if you want it. Sides clothes are easy to get, since my cousin left half her creations down in the basement. You can look through them if you want." he stated smiling at him as he took another bite, while tucking several braids back over his shoulder.
 
A smile spread across his handsome face as he looked at Ki with large blue eyes. "You mean it? I mean, i'll pay for rent and food and stuff but...do you mean it, for real?" he asked suddenly excited.

-10 minutes later-

Wearing black fitted leather jeans, a skin tight white sleeveless shirt with a zipper and black boots. With a soft smile to his form in the mirror, which was now more revealed to him, he stepped from the room and moved into the livingroom where Ki was. With a soft cough he swayed his hips teasingly to him and tossed his long hair with a soft moan. "So Mr. Savage. How do you like me now?" He turned slowly with a swing of his hips again before he let out a laugh, a soft blush crossing his ivory face. "Sorry, sorry! I had too, you know." -Done (LMAO!!!)
 
Ki chuckled as he grinned at the kid, his silver eyes aglow. "Yes Alex, I mean it. The place is fully paid off, so you don't need to pay rent. You can help with the grocery's and caring for the cottage." he said with a nod.

-10 Minutes Later-

Having cleaned up the kitchen, Ki headed into the living room and was looking over the books in the bookcase when his ears twitched back catching the sound of boots and turned to smile at the kid, his head cocked slightly as he caught his movements and laughed as he watched his cheeks flushed.

"You look very nice." he stated, delighted that the kid had found something he liked. "If you want, you can gather all you like from what she left."
