Lillian smirked as she saw the string of prisoners her crew pulled in. She wasn't as barbaric as some captains were--not even taking prisoners and instead letting those that oppose them die in the sea--however she wasn't a fool. Most of them would die as the government types rarely turned pirate very easy and she had no use feeding those who refused to work for her. It was strange seeing a military ship out so far in known pirate territory. She was a speedy ship with a witchwood mass and bright blue sails, however she was by no means prepared. Lacking both crew and guns Lillian's Starlight had no problem taking her over.
The battle lasted only a couple hours if that, before the other side conceded. The Starlight had a crew of about 120, making her a large ship and generally thought of as an easy target. But she was fast and had twice the amount of cannons as a ship her size should have any right having. The Starlight was just one of the four ships that flew her sails (A silver star on a crimson field) however it was the only one she would never let her crew pilot alone.
As the prisoners boarded she stopped one of her crew, a wiry youth with brown hair and pale green eyes. She had tied the previous captain with a length of rope around his neck making a leash, and his hands were tied behind his back. His clothes were a little bloody--suggesting he fought--however he showed no sign of serious injury. "And who might you be?" The pirate captain mused to the man, nodding her head slightly to the girl holding his leash to give him some room.
