Work work work, that was all Jared Stirling ever did these days, he had been working for the company for almost fifteen years now and he was thirty four now with a promotion coming up soon. Jared had let work get in the way of everything else even his marriage which was now over, the only thing he hadn't ignored was his son as he always had time for his son though sometimes it was hard to imagine that it was actually his son and not his daughter instead. Jared didn't really mind that his marriage had fallen to pieces as the older his wife had gotten the less fun she had been, even before work consumed his marriage they didn't do much in or out of the bedroom. Their date life had been nothing more than eating dinner together while watching tv and that was boring the first time let alone the tenth or fiftieth time he thought as he came home now. He combed his fingers through the short cropped black hair upon his head while letting out a sigh of relief, the day of work was over and he could relax now, with one more promotion he would be one of the heads of the company and there would be a lot less work with a lot more money.
Jared was a tall man at six foot four with an athletic build keeping himself in shape as best he could, he was not a body builder or ripped like some but he had a muscle tone that a thirty four year could be proud of he thought. His hazel eyes looked around the house as he stepped in but he didn't see or hear anything so perhaps his son wasn't around, he loosened his tie and walked deeper into the house while removing his shoes at the same time. Usually they would have been home by now he thought to himself as he walked down the hallway towards his son's room slowly, his clothed feet making almost no sound upon the floor and he didn't call out for anyone to hear him.
