Jared sat in a window box and stared out into the rainy autumn day with a faraway look in his intelligent eyes. He was thinking...thinking of someone in that way so typical of the healthy male. He could envision her easily, in many scenarios, in many places, in many positions. When an exciting scene popped into his head, he turned and gazed briefly at his twin brother, who was stretched out on the couch texting someone.
Jared turned back to the window feeling a sort of discomfort, and a not-so-pleasant mood crept up on him. As his thoughts returned to his musings about what he longed for - the sensual and erotic activities he would one day, so he thought, experience with this girl he was infatuated with - he drew his lip up in a bit of disgust, and exhaled a deep breath. But into his musings sneaked visions of his brother with a riding crop, or a chain, or whatever seemed apropos to his nature, and Jared grimaced.
Again he glanced back at his sibling, but this time he was startled to find Jason staring back at him with a slight sneer curling up the corner of his mouth. Jared furrowed his brows. "What?!" he asked, irritated. "You tell me," was Jason’s snide reply. Jared shook his head, and got up from the window box. He began to pace the room, shaking his head occasionally, and making a "tssk" sound now and again.
He halted suddenly and stared blankly. "What the hell are we going to do, then?" he asked his brother in exasperation. "Are you serious about her...like I am...or is it just another opportunity for you?" Jason turned back to his phone casually. "Why do you care," he said, "do you think she's some kind of angel? Get real, man!" Jason concluded. And Jared, gritting his teeth, walked out of the living room.
