Theora was a dark elf with long white hair and skin as black as night. She was about 5'4 1/2 weighting 100lbs. Her eyes were pure white with no pupils and she could see well in the dark. She was a Princess, the last surviving royal of her blood line. Her family had been slaughtered by Orcs when she was a baby, for the past years she had been raised by Elrond and his whelp.

Theora was just getting back from a journey when she noticed horses, elven horses and men gathered in Rivendale. She raised her eyebrow and sent her horse into a gallop. She wondered why Elrond had not told her about the company they were having, she wondered which type of elves these were, that she saw now.

Once she was home she jumped form her horse pulling her helmet off she ran inside. "Where is Elrond, where is everyone?" she sputtered out. One of her servants came over to her trying to calm the Princess down. "Lord Elrond is in a meeting right now. Please calm yourself Princess." the elf spoke to her. Theora raised her eyebrow then nodded.

"Forgive me, its been a long journey, I haven't seen Elrond and the other's for half a year though." she said and let the servant take her to the kitchens. She sat down on a stool, her helmet put back on her head and she ate a little snack as she waited for Elrond and who ever he had been talking to, by now Lord Elrond would know she was back.

The sun shone brightly today. There were next to no clouds that day, and as Cylian walked out onto the balcony from his room, he brought his hand up to his head to shield his eyes from the sun and looked up at the clear blue sky. It's a nice day today. Seems like a perfect opportunity to look for some fun. He thought to himself. The sunlight lit up his misty grey eyes as he inhaled a deep breath of the fresh morning air. He headed back into his room and changed out of his nighttime tunic into a casual light blue robe. He left his long brown hair trailing behind his back untied since he wasn't planning on heading out just yet.

When he exited his bedroom, he headed down the stairs and was greeted by one of his housemaids, bowing in front of him. "Milord, breakfast is ready and is waiting for you at the table."

"Mm. Very good. Thank you, Múlel." Cylian gave her a small smile, reaching up to place his hand momentarily on her shoulder, then letting his hand slide down and brush lightly over her chest as he headed to the dining table. The elven maid blushed as he walked away, hurrying back to her duties.

Cylian belonged to the house Dwin'ghymn, one of the richer families in Rivendell. It's been almost two centuries since his father gave him his own house, and since then he's hired five maids, each of them having come from different poorer families. Though everything seemed most normal to the rest of the population that passed by, these maids served more than just to do housework. Cylian had trained each one for his personal sexual uses. Although that had satisfied him for over a century, he had begun to sought out others, some more novelty fun.

Later that day Theora had bathed, changed then talked to her foster father, which was Elrond. Later that afternoon and got back onto her horse and clicked her tongue making the animal move down the pain street of the city. She was dressed in silver armor from head to toe, she was one of the few female elves that had become a warrior.

You could hear some of the children giggling happily and waving at her as she rode by. "There she goes, Princess Theora." someone said. Theora came to a stop outside of Cylian's house not on purpose though. She jumped from her horse and her eyes scanned around her, for some reason something felt off to her but she would keep her mouth shut for now.

One of his higher ranking maids spotted Theora and ran up over to Cylian. "Sir, do you know that the Dark Elf Princess is just outside your house?" she asked bowing her head slightly. Theora placed a hand on her horse's side then jumped back into the saddle letting out a low whistle the horse reared up and galloped off down the street.

Later that night Elrond was holding a feast out his house and all the Lords and Ladies of Rivendale were invited. That meant Cylian was invited to the feast as well. When he would enter the dining hall he would see Theora at Elrond's right hand side her long white hair flowing down her back, not done up in anyway.

Cylian had been in his study since after he ate breakfast, and one of his maids came running inside. "Sir, do you know that the Dark Elf Princess is just outside your house?"

Dark Elf Princess? There was only one Dark Elf that he knew of in Rivendell, and it was unlikely that she'd ever come near his house. In fact, from the outside, there was nothing that made his home look like anything but an ordinary house belonging to someone with more than average income. Of course, it was his family's income, but he really didn't care.

He strode past the bowing maid with light steps, heading to the front door. Whoever the maid claimed to have seen was now gone, though he did catch a glimpse of shimmering armor on a horse further down the road, but he couldn't really tell for sure who it was exactly from the faint figure in the distance. The Princess hmm? He had seen her once before in his life, though only from a distance. She had been standing beside Elrond as he made his announcements during a festival.

Cylian tapped his chin before returning back into the house. He recalled that there was an invitation to a feast at the house of Elrond tonight, and the corners of his lips turned upward in a small smile. Perhaps I may get to meet this Princess in person. he thought to himself as he headed upstairs to change into some more formal wear.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

He arrived at Elrond's house later that evening, with many of the guests already settled in and socializing with others. He was clad in a formal dark green robe trimmed with deep crimson at the sleeves and hems. His hair was left free behind his back, with two shorter locks of hair framing either side of his face. He took a goblet of wine from one of the servants that greeted him and began to make his way around the house, nodding briefly at acquaintances of his father.

The Dwin'ghymn family was fairly rich, and it was natural that they would have connections. As the heir to the family, he'd have to at least keep up the appearance of caring for such matters, though deep down he couldn't care less about the business affairs of his father.

Eventually, he had come to where Elrond was conversing with the guests. Beside him, he could see the dark skinned elf, the one known as Princess Theora. This was the first time he had seen her up close enough to notice more than just the shade of her skin. Her white hair was a very good contrast to her skin, and for the first time he noticed her snow white pupils. She was quite beautiful indeed, and he now understood what all the others had been talking about. Beautiful. This might just be what I'm looking for. He thought to himself as he approached them.

The Dwin'ghymn family had connections with Elrond as well, and Cylian was no stranger to him. He saw him approach, smiled warmly and shook his hand firmly. "Cylian! It is so very nice to see you again! I am so glad you could make it tonight. Theora, this is Cylian from the house Dwin'ghymn."

"Lord Elrond." Cylian bowed politely before he shook his hand, then returned a smile. "Always a pleasure to see you. And this is..." He let his gaze trail over to Theora. His eyes met hers as he gazed intently at her for a moment before bowing. "Ah, my apologies. How are you this evening, your Highness?"

Theora blinked and stared Cylian over keeping her place beside Elrond, she showed no smile on her face as she was addressed by him. "I am alright thank you, Lord Cylian." she said. She was wearing her battle armor still, there was not a single scratch or dent in it and it gleamed brightly. Under it she wore her cobalt blue tunic as well. "Lady Theora, here you are." a small girl said as she brought a drink over to her Mistress.

"Thank you Then'al." she said and smiled softly down at the girl. The girl bowed and walked off to deal with some other things. "Please call me Lady Theora, I really have people to rule over anymore. Not after the war." she said her face emotionless again. She was High Princess Theora, daughter of the High Dark Elf King Thor'inel who had long since been slaughtered by Sauron himself.

She bowed her head slightly then grasped onto Elrond's arm gently. "Its time father." she said before she picked up a wooden bow from beside the table and made her way outside. People went following after her, she was one of Elrond's best warriors. There were targets set up, some so far away they looked like ants in the distance.

Theora grabbed an arrow from her quiver and knocked it into her bow. Everyone fell silent as the female closed her eyes and let the arrow fly, it went whizzing past hundreds of elves with out making a noise before it slammed strong into a far away target. Theora had gotten a bulls eye, that was for sure.

She soon was working fast, arrows were hitting every target and right in the bulls eye every time. When she was done she swung her bow over her shoulder and nodded as the elves clapped. Theora made her way back over to Elrond and Cylian not a sweat had broken on her face. "I must retire early if you want me to run those Orcs out of the hills tomorrow, father. Lord Cylian." she said and nodded her head turning to leave.

"Very well, Lady Theora then. But the people see you as their Princess, Milady." When she had gone outside with Elrond, Cylian had followed along, standing outside along with the other guests. It seemed like Theora was to put on a show.

As the princess prepared her bow, Cylian gazed off into the distance in the direction that she was aiming. To regular Men, those targets would seem impossibly far, but thanks to their innate elven senses, most of them would be able to see clearly the arrow which stuck to the center of each target. Amongst the applause, Cylian joined in as he raised an eyebrow. He had known the princess regularly went on missions as part of Elrond's warriors, but he had never expected such mastery of a skill on her part.

Elrond nodded as Theora excused herself. "Ah yes, there was that. Do not let us keep you, then."

Cylian said nothing as she retreated, giving a simple bow as she parted. "Have a good night, Lady Theora." Once the princess was out of sight, he couldn't help his curiosity as he turned to Elrond once more. "Sir, I hope you don't mind me asking... but how is it that the Princess came to be under your care, being a... you know, dark elf."

Elrond looked at Cylian for a moment, and when he found that his eyes showed genuine interest, he sighed and led him to a less crowded area. "During the Second Age, at the peak of Sauron's power, he destroyed many lives. The Dark Elves were only one of the many victims to his rampages. When we went to scout the ruins of the Dark Elf kingdom, we found her lying on the ground next to her mother and father. She was breathing and alive, though unconscious, so we brought her back. Since then, she hasn't told us much about her past, except for the fact that she was indeed a Princess among the Dark Elves." Cylian stopped and began to think about what Elrond had just told him. Elrond had excused himself to tend to the other guests and the feast, leaving Cylian alone with his thoughts.

Later that evening, as he returned home, he went upstairs without a word, the door closing silently behind him. Princess... So it seemed she was royalty after all, not just by being under Elrond's care.

Theora in fact was the next one to take over the thrown when her parents had stepped down but now that they were dead, the throne of the Dark Elves was her's. Theora tossed and turned the whole not as nightmares came back to haunt her in her sleep. She woke up with a start early in the morning, she got about her doing her chores and so one.

She said by to her father then headed off onto her quest for that day. Meanwhile an Elder had made his way to Cylian's house after being called on. "You want to know about the Dark Elves my Lord? I will try my best but not much is known about the race. They live so deeply in the dark forests and caves on the other side of the mountains." the Elder said.

"I can tell you that The Princess's parents were high king and queen and when the time came, Theora would be the next in line for the throne but after the slaughter no other Dark Elves have been found, the Princess is the last of her people." The man said and bowed his head. He then turned and left leaving Cylian to his thoughts.

There was a horn blast later that night as Theora made her way into town the people cheering her. She suddenly stopped outside Cylian's house and left some rather pretty looking black flowers on his door step before she rode back home to see Elrond. Once she was back home she was busy talking about her quest.

A maid brought the flowers to Cylian and bowed her head. "The Princess left them on your door step, I think it is a sign for thank you." the girl said handing him the flowers before she turned and left. Theora was thanking him for coming to the feast the night before and being so respectful of her when she had to leave early.

Cylian had retreated to his study since the Elder had left, pondering on what he had just been told. If Theora truly was the last of her people, that would mean she was more than royalty. She was more of a sacred treasure that was to be protected. Yet, that stirred a feeling within him, though he could not tell what it was. Was it desire? No. A sense of attachment? No, not that either.

He mused upon it until he heard the horn, jolting him back to the real world. He went out to the balcony, looking towards where the sound came from. He made out the crowd which greeted Theora as she returned, though he returned inside. He had planned to retire to bed early that night, until one of his maids came to his room, knocking then entering with the bundle of flowers. "Thank you, Gadorel." He took the flowers and put them in a clear vase filled with water.

He'd have to go see Theora again tomorrow. He didn't know what this feeling was, but he felt that he could be sure of it if he could see her again, perhaps engage in proper conversation with her this time. Placing the vase on his nightstand, he laid on his bed, staring at them for a quite a long while before he fell asleep.

He awoke early the next morning, preparing to go out for the day. His hair was tied back in a simple ponytail and he wore a more casual beige coloured robe. He made his way up to Elrond's house, and when he arrived he got the attention of one of the servants. "Excuse me, is Lady Theora here?"

Theora had spent most of the night fast asleep, she had been tired out after killing so many Orcs. She was still in her sleeping robes when she heard a commotion at the door and looked out the door seeing Cylian. "Yes, Lady Theora is here but she may be asleep, your welcome to come in and wait." the servant said as she stepped aside bowing her head.

Theora had a feeling he was here to see her, she got herself dressed in a regular pure white robe, her hair was put in a braid by one of her servants, she also wore a gold band on her forehead showing her status as a Princess, it was something Elrond made her wear, she hated it though but she wore it for him.

She came down the steps a little while later and spotted Cylian waiting for her in the dining room. "What brings you here, in the morning?" Theora asked as she came towards him, her white eyes watching the older male. One of her servants stood close by her side most of the time. "If your looking for father, he is busy right now." she said softly.

Another servant brought her some breakfast and she sat down. "Please excuse me for eating, I just have woken up. Your welcome to join me if you wish, my Lord." Theora said to Cylian. A servant pulled a chair back for him across from the Princess and put a bowl of fruit down between them. Theora grapped an apple and took a small bite from it.

He thanked the servant, standing in the dining as he waited for Theora to come. Ever since the previous night, he still had no idea what he was doing here, and was still trying to think of something to say. Theora was a princess, and also she was of Elrond's house, and he wasn't about to make a fool of himself in front of them.

When Theora came down the steps, he bowed low. "Good morning, Lady Theora. Forgive me for being here at this hour." He nodded in thanks before he took a seat opposite the princess. "No, I did not come here to seek Elrond's attention, but yours, Milady." He caught her gaze once more, his grey eyes staring intently at her strange, yet beautiful white eyes.

When the servant came with the bowl of fruit, he shook his head softly, smiling. "It is not a problem. After all, you must eat to keep your strength as a warrior. As for me... I am not hungry, but thank you for the offer." He opened his mouth to prepare to speak again, but promptly closed it, deciding to be polite and leave Theora to eat in peace.

He contented himself with observing Theora as she ate for a short while. After what he thought was sufficient time had passed, he spoke up again. "Lady Theora, I hope I am not crossing any boundaries by asking you this, but..." His brow furrowed as he decided whether to ask or not, then took a deep breath. "Could you tell me more about your past? That is, before you came under Elrond's protection?"

Theora's eyes went wide and she coughed slightly as she almost chocked on her apple from his question. Memories came flooding back and she clutched her head tightly and pushed her food away. After a few moments she took a deep breath and calmed herself down.

"I uh...are you sure, its not a pretty story." she croaked and took a sip of water. She then cleared her throat and stared down at her plate. She guess she should tell him, though it still strange for a single man to come to talk to her like this and not to Elrond.

"Well, I was just a small child when it happened. I guess in human years you would say I was twelve. Sauron came to my parents begging them to give up their land and give me to him. My father would not do such a thing, he was a high king and a warrior like me." she said.

"You see, I have some powers other elves do not. I can see into the future and into the past, I can talk to the dead and the living to come. I can even hear the gods sometimes." she said staring at her plate a worried look in her eyes. "Anyways, my parents and people were slaughtered do to Sauron's anger." she said.

"If he couldn't have me then no one could, he scent his Orcs on my village, I was the only one alive when Elrond found me. I had 15 arrows imbedded in my skin, two were poisoned but I managed to pull through. I swore to Father on that very day to be a warrior and protect this place and these people with my life." she said.

Cylian sighed as he observed her initial reaction. I knew it was a bad idea... He rose from his chair, ready to apologize when she spoke up again. "Yes, I am sure. I had asked Elrond, but I want the complete truth, from you." He sat himself back into his seat as he listened to her tale.

When her story came to a close, he sighed, relieved to have asked her about the truth, though he was still surprised that she hadn't refused him and sent him away. "Not even the Dark Elves were spared from the wrath of Sauron..." Cylian muttered to himself, then decided to apologize anyway. "Milady, I am sorry. It was not right of me to ask you something like that out of the blue."

He closed his eyes and sighed again. So she had barely escaped the clutches of death, is the last one of her kind, and now he wants her? It wasn't right. His thoughts were in turmoil as he argued with himself. You can't have her, not a warrior like her. But look at her! Wouldn't she be the perfect one to keep? No... it's not right.

His thoughts were partially interrupted by Elrond returning from his morning duties. "Lord Cylian? What a surprise! What are you doing here at this hour?" He looks over and spots Theora looking troubled. "Is something wrong, Theora?" Even as Elrond and Theora conversed, Cylian's thoughts continued to rage in his mind.

Theora jumped suddenly when Elrond spoke up and she suddenly stood up and ran to him, she buried her head into his chest hiding her tears. Only Elrond allowed her to do such a thing to him in public, he had raised her after all and was the only family she had. "I uh....its nothing...just remembering the past." she said to Elrond as she wiped her tears away.

She wasn't mad at Lord Cylian and he could see that in her face. "Its alright my Lord. Perhaps you uh, would like something to clear you mind?" she asked waving a servant over who brought him some water in a glass. Theora held tightly onto Elrond's hand not letting go, he was her only comfort in this life, now that her family was gone.

Theora didn't realize that this elf wanted her, wanted to marry her make her his. "He just came to visit me this morning, my be curious about my past. Its alright though." Theora said as she gently placed her free hand on Cylian's shoulder showing him she held no ill will against him. Theora was of marriage age now but Elrond had always promised to marry her off to someone she knew first.

"How did the meeting with the Elder's go?" Theora asked Elrond and she stared at him with her white eye. She suddenly removed her hand from Cylian's shoulder forgetting she had left it there. She blushed slightly and cleared her throat before she looked away at the floor. "Elder Maron told me I should be married off soon, did you know that?" she asked Elrond.

"Lord Elrond!" Cylian was just as surprised to see him, though he realized he shouldn't be, seeing as it was Elrond's house after all. Elrond quickly took Theora into his arms, offering her what comfort he could. When Theora told him what she did, he realized that Cylian had come to ask her about her past, which wasn't strange considering he had come to ask him about her the night of the feast as well.

Elrond kept a firm grip on Theora's hand, knowing that she needed the comfort from him. He wished that he could do more, but in reality, there really wasn't much more he could do for her. Cylian felt the princess's hand at his shoulder, then turned to look up at her and Elrond. Seeing in their eyes that they bore no hard feelings towards him, he smiled slightly and took the glass of water from the servant gratefully, soothing him as he drank the cool liquid.

Elrond smiled and patted the dark elf's hand with his other. "The meeting went well enough. You've got enough to worry about without minding all of these politics I deal with." When talk of marriage came, Elrond nodded knowingly. "Yes, you have come of marriage age, and the Elder had spoken to me about it. However, you know what I've said about marriage since you first spoke to me about it." Elrond wasn't one to give up his daughter- well, adoptive daughter, just for the sake of creating good relations and for politics. His conscience would not allow him to.

When Cylian heard the talk of marriage, his eyes widened. If the princess was of marriage age now, she might be married off before he'd have a chance to make her his. The time to make my move is probably now or never! He thought to himself as he suddenly stood up and turned to face Elrond. With determination in his expression, he bowed before Elrond, and said "Lord Elrond! I, Cylian of the house of Dwin'ghymn, ask for Lady Theora's hand in marriage!."

Theora's mouth dropped open and she stared from Cylian and back over to Elrond in utter shock. She knew a few things about why Elrond was picky about who she married. He wouldn't let her marry a human, it had to be an older male elf she married and one Elrond knew.

Theora shut her mouth, she couldn't seem to come up with the right words for what was asked of her. She stared up at Elrond wondering what he would say about this surprise. It would be good to marry someone who knew her father but if there was other Dark Elves out there she was expected to rule over them as their Queen which meant she out ranked Cylian.

A few of the servants gasped as well and stared from Cylian to Elrond, Theora and back again. Theora felt faint suddenly and she sat down in a chair and held her head in her hands. She was in shock, she wasn't angry or anything like that. "That I didn't ever expect." She said and lifted her head and looked down at Cylian.

She then looked up at Elrond who was standing beside her. "Father, what do you say of this?" Theora croaked as she slowly pushed herself back up and stood next to Elrond. She bit her lip a bit more her mind wondering if Cylian could handle the problems that would come with marrying her. She was a warrior so she would leave a lot.

By the gods, Cylian, what were you thinking? From the perspective of another, he looked just as shocked as the rest in the room. He remained bowed until Theora fell to her chair. He slowly straightened himself, glancing over at Theora then back to Elrond. What a pinch you've gotten yourself into.

The second most surprised one in the room was probably Elrond, losing only to Theora, the subject of the topic. Yes, it was true that he had been talking with her about marriage for quite some time now, and they'd come to an agreement that she'd only be married to someone he knew. Cylian was certainly older than Theora, and he was quite familiar with the Dwin'ghymn house.

Under any other circumstance, Cylian probably would have recognized the situation with Theora, and the fact that she outranked him and nearly every other elf in Rivendell, and perhaps by rights even Elrond himself. However, in the current state of confusion, Cylian's normally calm mind was in turmoil, his thoughts having been stirred since the day before. Immediately after Theora asked for her father's opinion, Cylian bursted out, saying "I... I'm very sorry, Lord Elrond, Lady Theora. That was very sudden of me, and I shouldn't have said that."

"Cylian." Elrond stopped him, raising his hand to calm him, then looked between him and Theora. He first addressed Theora. "Cylian comes from a very respectful family. I, as well as the rest of Rivendell, are most appreciative of their works within our city. I have no objections with this, but the final decision, is yours to make." He then turned to Cylian. "Cylian, I trust that you understand? The situation you would be put in if you were to marry Theora?"

Theora stared over at Cylian then looked up at Elrond nodding when he said yes, she then looked back over at Cylian. "It is alright Lord Cylian, I understand why you asked. If you wish to marry me then so be it but there are a few rules and things you must follow and know." she said as she grasped her father's hand tightly again.

"First of all, I am a warrior and I guard Lord Elrond. Any Quests, battles or wars, I must be there ready for action. Second I am the Crowned Princess of the Dark Elves, if we were to find any remaining, it will be my job to return to my home and rule over them." she said and nodded her head, she out ranked them all yes but she respected them too.

"If I say I must go aid my fellow arches or warriors you can not stop me. It is my duty, my life if bound to these people, too Elrond. I owe him everything since the day he saved my life." she said and then bowed her head deeply. "If I do ever return to my home land as Queen, you must come with me, you will be a Prince though, rule under me." she said and nodded her head.

Theora turned her head and suddenly she was bowed so deeply you would wonder who it would be to make the girl do such a thing. "Lady Galadriel, what brings you to the house of Elrond?" Theora spoke softly as she straightened up. "I am here to bless your marriage as well as to bring you some good news but first, you finish your business with your soon to be husband." she said and walked off.

Cylian listened intently as Theora explained the circumstances. Now that the initial rush of confusion had passed, his cleared mind understood everything perfectly, and he realized that he knew some of this even before she told him. It was a good amount of information to take in, but he nodded slowly. "I... understand." However, he was hesitant about what she said about being the crowned princess. Would he really be able to go with her should there be a need to? It wouldn't work, not with him being an outsider. Even if Theora allowed it, the rest of them wouldn't be able to stand having an outsider as their Prince.

If that were so, would he be able to let her go by herself? There were so many questions, which were all interrupted by Theora's sudden bowing, bowing even lower than most did to Elrond. Cylian turned, eyes widened and soon he was bowing just as deeply along with Elrond. "Lady Galadriel." both men said at the same time. Cylian watched Galadriel with a curious expression, becoming even more bewildered as she walked off, saying what she said. "Wait, no, Lady Galadriel, you've-" He started, but she was already gone.

Cylian blinked towards the empty doorway where Galadriel was earlier for a moment, then turned to look back at Theora and Elrond. "I..." He was at a lost for words from what Galadriel had said just now. Soon to be husband? I don't even know what's going on right now. He sighed, then spoke up again. "I think I will leave you to your affairs with Lady Galadriel, Lady Theora, Lord Elrond. I may need some time..."

"You got her blessing Cylian, I am your betrothed now." Theora said and spun on her hell walking smack into another elf. "Sorry." she muttered a blush on her face as she soon raced after Lady Galadriel. She knew Elrond would be following after her but this female elf used to be a good friend of Theora's mother before she was killed.

"Lady Galadriel, what is this news you bring?" Theora said. Lady Galadriel walked right up to the dark elf and put a hand on her cheek before whispering something into her ear. Theora's eyes went wide and she stared up at Galadriel so stunned that no words came from her mouth when she turned to see Elrond.

"Elrond, I have some bad news to share. There is a new evil afoot in the dark places of Middle Earth. Its name is Malek, a very evil Dark Elf, Theora's Uncle." Galadriel said. Theora seemed to shiver before she cleared her throat and looked over at Elrond. "Father, its my duty to bring him in, he is family but he must be imprisoned." she whispered.

From her cloak Galadriel pulled a very shiny silver sword and handed it to Theora, it was huge as well. "This was your father's, it belongs to you now. If you must destroy your Uncle, this is the only way you can. The name is the Sword in Elvish is...." Galadriel was cut off. "Its name is Selene in Elvlish, its real name is Wrath of the Gods in my tongue." Theora said as she lifted the sword into the ear then swung it before slamming it back into its sheath.

That's right. Once Galadriel had given a couple her blessing, it was made official. Cylian clearly wasn't ready for this, though he try not to let it show as he took a seat to steady himself, Elrond having left the house a short while ago in Theora's tracks to Galadriel.

Elrond's reaction to Galadriel's news was very much the same as Theora's, though not nearly as intense. "Her uncle...? But, the day we found her, wasn't he..?" Elrond looked down at the ground, searching for words, though he quickly shook his head and looked back at Galadriel and Theora. "If this is the case, then you must go, Theora. As much as I hate putting you into such danger..." He sighed. "Who will you take with you? Surely you won't be doing this alone?"

Back at Elrond's house Cylian had stood up after some time, thanked the servants and apologized for the disruptions he had caused. He had to keep up the good image of his family after all. Cylian took to waiting outside their house, waiting for Theora and Elrond's return. While he waited, he wanted to think things through. If he was now Theora's betrothed, this would mean he'd have to commit himself to her. As confused and unprepared for it as he was, it was elven tradition after all, and even Cylian wasn't one to veer too far from the more important traditions. Especially since Galadriel would have her eye on them now.

"I shall take Ara and Cylian with me. Remember Elrond, My Uncle went missing before my family was slaughtered by Sauron." she said to the older elf before she looked back at Lady Galadriel. "Gandolf wants you to take Shadowfax, since he is the fastest of horses." Galadriel replied. "Then Cylian and Ara will have to use Charos and Mycle." she said.

The two hoses she mentioned were offspring of Shadowfox, the Lord of all horses. "I will take my father's sword, the bow you gave me Elrond." she said and looked at her father. "Be careful young one, your powers are growing stronger, you may see things soon. Do not rely on them though, remember the future can change." Galadriel replied.

"I know that, thank you Lady Galadriel." she said and bowed her head before she looked at Elrond. She smiled softly and walked over and kissed him on the cheek. "I sword to you father, I must keep to my promise." she said and lifted his head. "Do not fear for me, the graces are on my side." she whispered in Dark Elvish, only Elrond and Lady Galadriel knew her native tongue. "Maybe you should get married again yourself." she said to Elrond.

She stopped suddenly though, her hands went to her temples and she staggered before Galadriel gently pushed Theora down into a chair. "Its already begun Elrond, if things get worse, you may need to keep an eye on her." Lady Galadriel whispered. Theora let out a cry and her eyes sprang open and she shook her head. "Your right, he is back." whispered Theora stood up.

"You are going to marry Cylian tonight then, tomorrow you must leave." Galadriel said and looked at Elrond. "I feel it in my bones that there are still some of her kind left Elrond, that is something we are going to look for while she is gone to deal with her Uncle. Now come you two, its time for a wedding." Galadriel said and smiled gently at Theora who was a bit shocked.

If what Galadriel said was true, it was something they needed to deal with as soon as possible. Elrond was diverted from his thoughts as Theora came to him, and he smiled. "Maybe. Just maybe, when the time is right." With how much work he had nowadays, he hadn't even considered marriage again.

As much as he hated to rush a thing like a wedding, especially his own daughter's, but alas, it couldn't be helped. Malek needed to be dealt with as soon as possible. He returned to the house, only to find Cylian still waiting patiently outside. He walked up to Cylian and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Lord Cylian, you are to be going with Theora tomorrow on her mission. They have found her uncle, another dark elf, though he is evil. She will require your help." Elrond sighed, but then gave a cheerful smile. "However, you and Theora will be married tonight. I suggest you go home and get ready." Elrond turned to go inside the house, then stopped and added, "Maybe you should let Lord Aroben and Lady Rivaldis know?" He said with a humorous chuckle before heading inside.

Well done Cylian. You are now betrothed to a princess, and your parents don't even know about it. You managed to do it all in a single day too. Very well done. Cylian scolded himself as he quickly made his way over to the district where his parents' house was, the main house of the Dwin'ghymn.

After some well deserved scolding from Rivaldis, his mother, and a quiet blessing from Aroben, his father, he quickly made his way home. He gathered his maids to prepare his formal gown, as well as his formal suit of armor should it be needed. As a child of a rich family, he had received a suit of armor from his parents. It was to be worn on rare formal occasions, but the armor itself is battle ready. It might not be as beautiful as Theora's silver armor, but it showed his status nonetheless.

Theora was wearing the colors blue and pure white along with her armor and her swords, one on her back the other at her hip. Lady Galadriel had managed to get things together, Ara her servant was waiting to far off and Elrond would be marrying the two of them. Theora had a bit of a stomach ache but she said nothing about it.

"Father, are you sure? I mean....oh I am so confused." Theora grumbled as she buried her head into her Father's chest and let out a sigh. "If I don't come out of this alive, please take care of Ara and Cyain if they return home with out me. Mostly take care of Ara please, she is young." Theora whispered a worried look in her eyes.

Cyain was lucky to be marrying Theora, to be married to a high elf was a great honor. Theora was pacing back and forth, she kept seeing things in her mind which she didn't like. She jumped slightly when a familiar blonde elf walked past her. "Legolas!" she cried and hugged the man, he was like a brother to her.

He had come all this way just to say good by to her and see the wedding. "Following your gut instinct I am guessing?" she asked him. He nodded and let go of her as he took his place in the crowd. Lady Galadriel made her way over and gently touched Theora on the shoulder. "Your parents would be proud of you, you look just like your father. The graces are smiling on you, sweet one." she whispered.

Unlike Theora, Cylian wasn't a warrior. He had on his set of of armor, with a different colour scheme, and it was much less flashy. It was really just a plain set of armor trimmed with the dark green colour of Rivendell. Also, he was missing the many swords Theora had at her side, and with a quick glance, someone would be able to tell the difference between them.

Of course, Cylian knew exactly the honour of marrying someone like Theora. There weren't many outside of royal families being able to marry royalty. His maids were tending to him before the wedding ceremony started, and his parents had come by to give them their blessings, however reluctantly, before joining the crowd.

Elrond was tending to Theora before the wedding started. He understood his daughter's confusion, and he hugged her close and sighed along with her. "I know you are, darling. Believe me, I do." His eyes widened when she told him to take care of Ara if she didn't return alive. He pulled back from her, grasped her shoulders firmly and gave her a quick shake. "There is to be no talk like that! You will come back alive, and we can take care of them together." Elrond gave the dark elf an intense gaze before looking away, tending to some other matters.
