Mimi was also sweating quite a bit from her work, but some rest in the mess hall would serve her well. There seemed to be a bit of a commotion not too far away, but it was something that would happen nearly everyday. While she didn't get a chance to see, all those people were watching the stallion show off his strength at work, carrying all the heavy supplies and other things. Because she was working so often, she hadn't gotten a chance to witness it. 'Work comes before leisure' she was told. She washed up a bit before she moved into the mess hall, being exposed to the wonderful scents of the breakfast. She got in line, grabbing her plate full of food and heading out to a table. She usually sat alone, not sure how she would fare trying to converse with any of the other workers.
Sure, she exchanged a heart 'Hello!' every now and then, but other than that it wasn't much. Not too long after she left the line though, she bumped into what felt like a brick wall. Luckily she hadn't dropped any of her food, and she looked up to see just who she had bumped into. Her eyes widened slightly as she saw who it was: it was him. The stallion everyone was so hyped over. It was a rather odd sight, seeing how easily he stood tall over her. "Ah! I'm sorry!" she said, quickly moving around him to get to her table. That was embarrassing. She could hear some of the other workers get a little chuckle out of it too. Trying to forget about it, she started to eat her food. Her tail behind her begin to wag a bit behind her. It was so good! That farmer's wife sure knew how to make a great meal.
