Little Miss Innocent x Big Time Millionaire

Why her? What did she ever do to deserve this? All she ever wanted was a good husband, a happy family and live in a nice big house and have a dog or two....oh and a mini van to fit all the kids and take them to soccer practice. Her parents had been happy with each other until they both passed and Korin was left alone with no siblings. She had a great career, was a dedicated person and a fiance'-correction, ex-fiance' who said he was a dedicated person, but apparently bullshit ran deep. The son of a bitch had the nerve to get blown while driving and honestly, he deserved that sprained back and her so called, ex-best friend deserved that neck brace. Bastard also deserved that hard teeth marks around his dick. Rather sad that she didn't bit it off when they crashed. He was a top notched, well known lawyer, always getting people out of predicaments, winning cases. He was truly well known. Bastard has been on TV and in a movie or two. And she. Well, she was a top notch caterer herself. She had planned so many weddings and parties. The biggest had been one for Hugh Hefner. The man really liked his parties big. And now, here she was, stumbling down a dirt path, bottle of Crown Royal in one hand, the other out stretched, ready to steer herself away from whatever object laid in front of her. Her friend from the catering company she worked in suggested Korin go and use her vacation home in Canada, on a stretch of island in the middle of a river. She didn't want to, but with so many reporters asking for an interview about what happened and about what she was going to do, she needed to get away. A few weeks of being gone from the eyes of media vultures and she would return.

Her friend even suggested she go and use her neighbors large pool. Apparently the man was never home. He just bought the home and was never there, just maids that went in, cleaned and left. The pool water was always warm year round and even better, the door to the pool was broken. Oh huzzah. But one problem. Korin would never, well...had never did such a thing. She wasn't the adventurous type, never took risks. She ate her veggies and brushed her teeth and went to sleep on time and woke up early and was never late. But now, with this Crown Royal in her system, she had the nerves of fucking steel, like the Hulk almost and decided, what the fuck. She was also cursing more, like a sailor, cursing her ex-fiance and ex-best friend. Taking another swig from the Crown Royal, Korin almost lost her balance and laughed when she almost tripped. “Oh, oh, don't fall. “She snickered, then shushed herself, snickering even more. She continued on the path and looked up, seeing the large, multi-windowed cottage. And here she thought cottages were made of wood. Oh well, what did she know. Quietly as she tried to be but failed, she walked up the wooden porch stairs and reached for the glass, sliding door. She jiggled it a bit and smiled when it opened. She slipped in and closed it as lightly as she could. With it being dark outside and inside, Korin had a hard time locating a light switch, until she reached the far wall, skimmed her hands along it and scoffed when she saw those light switches that were lit when the lights were off. “Smart. Thank you Mr. Neighbor.”She whispered, flicking it on and illuminated the inside of the pool only. “Works for me.”She chuckled and walked over to a beach chair and set her bottle down on the floor. She fumbled in taking off her blue peasant top and jean shorts. She kicked off her sandals and removed her black laced bra and matching panties. Taking off her hair tie, she shook her hair out, black waves cascading down her back. Reaching for the bottle, she took a tiny swig, swallowed and set it down again.

Walking over to the pools edge, she dipped her foot and sighed at how luke warm it was. Perhaps the quick shock of cold would sober her up again.....or help in drown her. She didn't care at this point. Her whole life was ruined. Taking a breathe, she dove in, hands pointed outward and swam to the other side of the pool, popping her head out of the surface. She did a lap, back and forth, until she stopped and let herself float on her back. Her eyes were closed for a moment, her hands paddling gently to keep her afloat. This was nice and exactly what she needed. Good thing the owner was never here or else she would be able to come back again tomorrow.

A silent hum, the ticking of buttons on a keyboard and the occasional mumbling, was all that filled the house. Even with the several computers, screens and hardware therefore on, there was no constant groaning of machinery. No. These machines was top of the line. The best software, stuffed into the best hardware imaginable. And he created it all. Started in his mothers garage when he was 10, and never stopped. Constantly working. Constantly typing, coding, writing and discussing with himself. All whilst listening to music, and smoking. That was all he did. It was his hobby. His work. His life. And it wasn't all that exciting anymore. Technology had reached a point, where there was barely anything new he could do, with the limits he was given. But he didn't slow down. He'd start a Animation Company, to outsource directly from his main company, and now worked with games, CGI in movies and the works. He didn't do all this work on his own, anymore. But he had a hand in everything. And everyone, who ever got the most high tech, popular, fashionable gear, knew his alias: Solar. But very few, knew her real name. He didn't do talk shows. He didn't talk to papers. And when ever he was forced to go public on something, he did so by the name: Solar. He was solitary. He was alone. He.. Was bored.

With a soft sigh, Jake pushed the keyboard, held out by a mechanical arm in front of him, away. He rose to his legs, making his way down the long hallway of his cottage. Many thought, that he was never there. And the main reason for that, was that he didn't want them to. And for someone like him, it was easy to hide. And the cottage was only so dark, because he preferred it that way, and that the computers and machines where mainly located bellow the main floor.

Jake had made his way to his dresser, and got himself undressed, but put on a pair of bathing pants. He never really liked bathing naked, being quite the paranoid man. He threw a towel over his shoulder, got his pack of cigarettes, and made his way towards the upstairs. But on his way to do so, he heard a beeping from his work room. Tilting his head backwards a bit, to look inside, he saw that one of the security cameras had switched on. He tilt his head to the right as well, before walking over to the camera, putting in on the big screen.
He knew that face. Observing it his head slowly tilted to the other side, his hair flowing a bit off from his face, so that both his eyes could gaze at her. His eyes then widened slightly, seeing her drop down to her bare skin. A small chuckle build from his throat, as his head shook a few times. What now? He didn't really want to go up there. She might know him, and as soon as she'd gotten home, she might let someone know where he was. His freedom robbed. Then again...

His mind didn't have to turn it around much, before he head towards the upstairs. Putting a cigarette between his lips, he slowly made his way towards the frontof his cottage, which was leaning out over the sea on the other side, now gazing through the closed window doors. He pushed his glasses in place, smirking lightly, before pulling the door open, as silently as he could. He stepped outside, letting the door remain open, as she got out a box of matches. For someone who lived his kind of life, it was strange that he still used matches. But for some reason, he preferred it that way. And lighting a match, probably also made enough sound, for her to hear it. And the flame let her see the pair of simple glasses, held in front of his bright brown eyes. His raven hair made a gentle wave, down in front of his right eye, giving him a rather mysterious gaze, now focused down upon her. He wore a simple pair of black bathing shorts, that hang loosely down his legs.
"Well hello there.. Miss.. Korin, I believe?" He chuckled lightly, taking in a wiff of his cigarette, as he slowly walked towards the pool. "How funny to meet you here.. I was quite sure.. I had locked the back door?" He asked. From what she could see of him, he didn't seem angry, frustrated or otherwise agitated. He seemed quite calm, and when ever he breathed down the filter of his cigarette, she'd also see a gentle, teasing smile. But it probably did little, to dull the embarrassment of the situation for her. Which just made it... A little more fun. To him.

Maybe she could sneak back here tomorrow night, minus being piss drunk. She was surprised she hadn't blacked out and drowned inside this warm pool. Opening her eyes, Korin looked up at the ceiling, her eyes watery from unshed tears. “B-Bastard....” She whispered before twirling and dipping underneath the water. She swam a few feet before breaking through the surface of the rippling water. God, she needed another swig of her bottle. Korin wasn't much of a drinker. Correction, she wasn't much of a hard liquor and alcohol kind of drinker. The first time she took a swig of that Crown Royal, it burned her throat and stomach. After the third and fourth swig, she was able to handle it.

Paddling back to the other side where she set her bottle, Korin was about to reach the edge until she heard a voice. She stopped, gasped and turned, her arms instinctively coming up to cover her breasts. She had to kick her feet to keep herself afloat. It was hard for her to see, given the fact that her vision wasn't at all clear thanks to good ol' Crown Royal. It took her a moment to notice the soft orange glow on the other side of the pools edge. When it illuminated, she saw a face of a man. She was speechless. Was he the owner? No. Her friend said that he wasn't ever here. Was he one of the other neighbors? A reporter? And he knew her name. It was hard to properly get a good glimpse of him. The light from the pool helped a bit, but not by much. Some of his features were in shadow. “W-Who are you?” She asked, wondering how the hell was she going to get out of her. She was naked, stuck inside this pool and this guy can either call the authorities or worse yet, he could personally deal with her.

And to think she was here to get away from problems, but they seem to just keep showing up no matter where she went. She was tired of this. Damn problems. Why couldn't she just be left alone? Korin was usually a mild-mannered woman. Rarely raised her voice, cursed, drank, but with the alcohol in her system, she seemed to have a little boost to her courage and morale. “L-Look....I don't know why you're here, but you...you need to leave. Understand? This is private property you know.” Okay. Good. Maybe if she pretends that she knew the owner then he would go away. It didn't look like he had a camera, so he was perhaps one of the neighbors. “I'm friends with the owner....so if you don't leave...I'll....I'll call the authorities.” Though seeing as they were on a small hunk of land in the middle of a giant ass lake with only five or six homes on it, having the authorites appear would take no more than a day and a half or so. Damn her luck.

Crap! Since she was just floating there in the water, she was starting to feel a bit cold. She couldn't just swim around while this guy was here and her bottle was to far from her reach, so she couldn't get it in order to take a swig to help warm her up. Oh God, please go away. Please, please, just leave so that I can get out, get my things and leave.

So many things about this situation, was impossible to ignore. One of the biggest ones, was the fact that she was naked, in his pool. And, that she was probably the most beautiful woman, he'd ever seen. Admittedly, he didn't see a whole lot of women in his line of profession, nor in the way he did his busyness, but still. He knew models, actors and journalists, who all wanted to mingle with him, when ever there was a large event, hosted by the Solar Corporation, Solar Express or Solaris Entertainment. He had to attend these, and everyone wanted to get close to him. It was sickening, but he figured it was the price he paid, for the line of work he did. He just wanted solidification, like what he had here. At least, that's what he'd always felt before. But he'd started getting lonely. Which was probably why, he'd just barged out in the pool, with no second thoughts.

With her first question, his lips curved a gentle smile, and he snickered softly, as he walked over to a chair by his side, throwing his cigarette case, matches and towel on it, as she continued. His eyes gazed back down towards her, taking another heave at his cigarette, letting him see his raised eyebrows above his glasses, as she said she knew the owner. It caused him to snicker slightly, as he exhaled the smoke from his nose, and shook his head a few times.
"Pool room lights, on." He said, with a slightly louder voice, then what was necessary for Korin to hear it. As if he was speaking to someone else. After saying the words, he started walking towards the way he'd come, as he continued speaking, and the lights in the ceiling started turning on, snaking it's way through the room until all the lights where on.
"It'll take the authorities about thirty minutes to get to Thor Island, if phoned from inside this cottage." He stated, opening a wardrobe near the entrance to the pool room, from the house. Inside he found a rather thick, warm robe, meant to put on after bathing. After fetching that, he turned around and made his way back towards the pool. He was careful, that if she'd made her way up the pool, exposing herself some more, he made sure not to rudely stare at her. "Pool Room ventilation, on. And Pool heat up a few degrees." He said again, as if talking to someone else once more. And a silent, peaceful humming started through the room, venting the smoke he exhaled, making sure it wouldn't fill the room. And bubbles started oozing out from bellow the pool, making gentle bubbling noises as it made it to the surface, heating up the pool for her pleasure. And so he continued. "But it costs the owner quite a little fee, in order to make that possible. So why don't we.. Not.. Call the authorities?" He suggested with a smile down towards her, as he dropped the robe next to her clothes. As he did, he noticed the bottle next to his things, raising the visible brow as he looked towards her again, stretching down to pick up the bottle. "And.. Agree. That there is no drinking inside -my- pool, and put this over here." He also added, chuckling slightly, as he made his way over to a nearby table, putting the bottle there, before sitting himself down next to it.

"And, now.. Let's.. Discuss.. What we do here, shall we?" He suggested with a smile, leaning back in the chair he got seated. "Oh, and let me know if you wish to get out.. I'll look the other way.." He also added at the end, holding out a hand towards her, before putting each of his fingertips against each other, and his elbows rested on the arm rests. He was now seated between her things, and her way out. "Let's start with what you are doing here, miss Korin. And I don't mean what your doing in my pool, but on this Island itself. Why are you here?" He asked, smiling gently, as he took another heave of his cigarette, moving a hand to pull it away, and let his arm rest down by his side. Should Korin decide to leave the pool she'd find he kept to his promise, and looked away. But he wouldn't move. And should she try to make a run for the door, he'd get up and block her way. They where both in a bit of a situation here.

She heard him chuckle low, the sound echoed just a bit. “W-What's....so funny?” She asked as he only snickered once more. It irritated her. Did he find this funny? Bitting her lip, Korin kept an eye until as he moved towards the chair where her things were just tossed there on the floor. Crap, her bra and panties were laying right ontop of her shirt and shorts. Hope he wasn't some sort of pervert. Eyes never leaving, he finally spoke, though he didn't seem to be speaking to her. As he raised his voice, giving a command for the lights to turn on, she raised a brow in question before seeing the room illuminate little by little. She looked around, freaking out. “N-No...wait....lights off. Dammit, lights off.”She said loudly, but nothing was happening. The finally bulb lit and the whole room was washed with light. She could see him better and what she saw surprised her. He looked so familiar, but where has she seen him before?

Korin felt so exposed....kind of. The water was more or less hiding her nakedness, but he knew very well that she was unclothed. As he moved back to where he stood before, she considered swimming to the edge, popping out of the water and making a run to the doors hoping she wouldn't slip, fall and break her neck. God, how well would she be able to coordinate that though. As he opened a door and grabbed a nice, crisp white robe, he spoke once again. Who was he talking too? And why did his damn face look so damn familiar. He issued another command and a little whir sound immited from somewhere. How did he know how to-

She stopped, feeling something tickling up her legs before she was surrounded by lots of bubbles. The water around her warmed up, making her gasp. “A-Amazing...” She said, gazing at the bubbling surface of the water. She had a bad sinking feeling about him and she already figured she was in trouble, especially when he mentioned that the authorities can only be called using the phone within this cottage. It dawned on her in that instant. “You're....the damn owner of this place.....aren't you.” A fact, not a question. But how? Her friend mentioned he was never in this damn place, so why now, when she wanted to have some fun, mess around, be drunk and not care. Nothing was going like she wanted it to. “Hmph, how should I believe you? For all I know, peek when I'm not looking.” God, she felt so vulnerable in here and her damn head was pounding. Being inside this pool was sobering up a bit and the warmth of the water wasn't helping. She needed to get out, but.....he wasn't going to move. Look away he would, well if he decides to have one little peek, she knew how to break his nose. Self-defense classes came in handy. “I'm getting out....s-so you better not look....or else....” She would answer his questions once she was out of this pool and covered up. Checking and seeing he was looking away, she moved away from him a bit and tried to jum out of the pool, but was having issues. “Oh God...no..” Her arms felt like lead as did her body. The more she tried to hop out, the more her head throbbed and the more her stomach. “Don't throw up, please.. “ She whispered to herself, not wanting to stain the floor with only alcohol and stomach juices. After the third attempt she was out, water soaking the floor around her. Shivering, she rushed over, making sure to be lined with the back of his head. Korin kept her eyes on him, even while she crouched down and snatched her panties. She rose, too fast and ended up dizzy. “C-Crap....” She hissed, grabbing her head. “Don't you dare look.” She said quickly just in case he was about to check on her. Fumbling, she managed to get one foot, then the other throught the holes and raised the garment until the hugged around her hips. Snatching up the robe and slipped into it, tying th sash tightly around her. She gathered up her loose clothing and stepped away from him. “I'm....done...”in more ways than one. She was ready to collapse. Her head throbbed and her legs felt like jello. Rubbing her temple, she stared at the man, nibbling her lip a bit. “I'm....sorry....for trespassing. I was told that.....this place was always vacant....and well....I just.....-” She shrugged. He saw her swimming, what else was there to say. Seems he's seen her on the news, great. “Look...I.....just needed to get away.” She let out a small laugh. “ Needed to disappear more like it. I'm sorry for all the trouble alright. I won't do it again, I promise. So I'll just be on my way, okay.” Korin took a step back, keeping an eye, for she was ready to bolt out of here. If only she could grab her bottle of Crown Royal though, but oh well. Her friend had more bottle back in her vacation home.

It was always funny to play around with drunk people. He himself was so rarely drunk, that when he attended parties, he had plenty of fun, playing with the fuzzy headed people. He'd done 'unspeakable' things. Even made a few run through the streets of Las Vegas, naked. Her agent had been furious. But never would anyone know, who'd been fueling the fire. No one would ever suspect the quite, calm Jake Adamant.
But this time, he didn't feel like abusing it. Making her made at him, would only get him discovered out here, as soon as she realized who he really was. She was connecting the dots. And all that was standing between her, and realizing, was probably the booze at this point. And it caused him to squint his eyes, taping his lips with two fingers, tightly pressed together by the fingertips. At her initial question he'd nodded a few times, with a soft chuckle.
"Yes.. Yes. I am the owner, of this 'damn' place. Welcome to my home, away from home." He said with a smile, holding his hands out from each side of him, in a presenting manor. And at her doubts, he could only shrug, and give her an unknowing smile. "I don't know. I guess all you can do, is trust me. And considering -your- a trespasser, and -I'm- currently the guy who hasn't called the authorities... I think it's safe to say, I'm, more or less, the most trustworthy one here? Oh. Not to forget you had more then half a bottle of this." He said, picking up the bottle again, swinging it's contents around a few times as he chuckled. The way he spoke, he made it clear he wasn't actually angry. Not frustrated. He was still teasing her. Almost friendly.

And as she said she was coming out, Jake rose from his chair with a nod, and turned his back towards her. Was he a saint? Hell no? Did he trust himself? Nope.
"Pool room security camera, off." He called out, but nothing seemed to happen. The camera made no sounds, had no lights. There was no way for anyone to know, that there was actually a camera. But now she did. And had to trust, that it was actually off.
And so, he waited, patiently. He realized it'd probably not be all that simple for her to do, so he let her take her time. He could almost hear her tumble around back there, making a slight grimace of petty, and actually some fright. He was afraid she'd tumble, and hurt herself. Not only would he feel extremely bad about letting that happen, but it'd probably also make this whole thing, a lot harder.
"I'm not." He said, as he was 'threatened' again, holding out his arms to each side in submission to her demand. And as she finally gave hint that she was done, he slowly turned his gaze back towards her, before turning around to properly face her. He took the last heave of his cigarette, walking over to the table to exhaust it in the ashtray, looking towards her as she apologized. He listened to her entire tale, letting her finish before he replied.

"If I had a problem with people borrowing my pool, your friend, and a few others on this Island, would be a lot poorer..." He stated with a small smile, now facing her properly. "I don't know which one of my pools visitors would be your friend, but either way, would you please advice her, to wear something when she does? Unless of course she wan'ts me to blush and awkwardly try not to look at the security camera, when ever she borrows it..." He chuckled lightly, crossing his arms, as he took a few steps towards her, still standing between her, and her exit. His eyes scanned her for a few seconds, before he shook his head a single time, now revealing both his bright eyes, as he continued.
"I partly understand what your doing. Granted, I've never been in a tragedy, such as yours. And I'm sorry about what happened, you didn't deserve that. But Judge Bartley wasn't the most honest of men. And I can assure you, he'll be punished properly. Information about a few hidden accounts of his, and unauthorized sales, is coming to the attention of the police tomorrow. He'll be put away for a long time." Jake smiled, stopping his advance towards her. His eyes gazed up at her ears for a second, before back down on her eyes. He'd always had a thing for Elves. Didn't make his situation a lot easier.

He looked towards the ground by his side, as he cleared his throat. "You recognize my face.. But I'm guessing you haven't put a name to it yet, have you?" He asked, looking back towards her. A small smile grew on his lips, before he nodded a single time. "How about... You stop trying to remember, and I introduce myself as someone else then myself. Someone I wish I was. And then, I pretend not to know who you are, miss. And we can both remain 'hidden', on Thor Island. How about that? The Media Butchers won't come chopping in you, nor will they have at me." He suggested, with a faint smile, as he tried to walk a bit closer, offering a hand. "Jake.. Jake Adamant." He introduced himself. He was actually admitting his own name, but he knew she wouldn't know that. She'd know 'Solar'. Like mostly everyone else.

There were cameras? Korin couldn't help, but look around, trying to find them, but saw nothing. She blushed a bit as she looked at the ceiling, almost losing her balance as she turned her head left and right. Oh God, she was caught naked. Will he watch it? She covered her eyes with one hand. Drunk and naked on a security camera. “Please, delete that. I don't....want you to see....” She blushed more. She peeked between her fingers and stared at him. “I'll....let my friend know.” Good thing he didn't know who it was, else she would be in so much trouble. Did Carrie even skinny dip? Knowing the woman, she did.

When he spoke about her fia- correction, ex-fiance', she frowned, anger boiling. The bastard deserves everything onto him. It didn't help, that he as good friends with the damn judge he faced, but hearing about some hidden accounts, Korin looked confused. Dropping her hand, she shook her head. “Was that...on the news?” It might have been. She refused to hear the radio or watch tv, not wishing to hear about her good for nothing fia-........ex-fiance' “He deserves a lot of bad things. Especially Beth.” Slimy, back stabbing, two timing, whore. To think they had been best friends. Hah! No longer.

Rubbing the bridge of her nose, Korin was trying to rub out the sudden pain building in her brain. She needed sleep. Looking back up at the man, her eyes focused on those eyes. Lovely shade. So bright. Hypnotic. Nice lashes too. Woah! What the hell was she doing checking out his eyes. She should focus, especially on trying to figure out who he was and how the hell to get out of here. Taking another step away from him, Korin felt she needed distance from him. “I wish....i could remember.....I think....I've seen you somewhere...but..I...just.....can't remember.” Did she cater an even and she saw him? Had he been a guest or something? She can remember every single CEO, Executive, President, didn't matter who it was, that wished to throw an extravagant party, but she just couldn't recall if he had been a guest or an owner of something. Easy for him to say for her to stop trying to remember. Her brain was pounding against her skull, trying its best to go through her large memory and pull out a file. Maybe she should stop. It was giving her a bad headache. Besides, maybe not knowing who he truly was, was a good thing. Staying hidden sounded so nice. “I think...I like having to stay hidden.” She smiled, blushing a bit. As he moved a bit closer, hand extended, Korin was about to take a step back, but stopped. He didn't seem to want to hurt her. Jake Adamant. What a nice name. Then again, even killer had nice names, but hey, lifes full of risks. Reaching her hand tentively, she took it and shook it. “I guess.....I'll....go with Rin.” A nickname she gave herself. Only close friends were allowed to use it. “I guess....since we're in agreement...and we won't tattle on each other basically......I guess I can go home now.” Korin took her hand back and stepped away, hoping he would let her go now.

She didn't have to stay here with him, right? She couldn't remember anything about him, so not like she was going to go fetch the media butchers. If she did, that would be putting her at risk as well, which she didn't want. Besides, her stomach at the moment is debating on whether or not to regurgitate the contents within. How bad would that be to let loose all over him. He had a nice upper body. Very lean. She wondered how it felt. She also wondered why the hell her brain was being a jerk?

He smiled and couldn't hold back a slight chuckle as she hid her face in her hands, and he nodded a few times, as he scratched his upper arm.
"Of course, I was aiming to do so, if I could come to an agreement with you. So if we can arrive in mutual agreement, I'l have it wiped in a heartbeat. He said with a soft smile, nodding a single time towards her, as she peeked through her fingers. "You have nothing to be ashamed of, however. And.. I have to tell you, I did already see... When the security camera beeped to warn me there was an intruder, I looked at the screen, and saw you. Can't really blame me for that.. Considering.. You where skinny dipping in -my- pool." He snickered softly, holding out a hand, it's fingers stretched out. "Promise I didn't stare too much, though." Again, laughing in a teasing manor, he made it sure he just wanted to be friendly. And he'd figured admitting the truth, was the best coarse of action. Might help her trust him a bit more.

As she questioned the information about her ex-fiance, he shook his head a few times, pushing his glasses back in place.
"No, it wasn't. That's information coming out of one of my sources, who started looking for dark corners around the little Judge, when he decided to become a danger to the world around him, by driving drunk... I can't tolerate that. So, we digged something up, to bury him properly. He won't peek out of his hole, for a long time." He smiled a bit crookedly, observing her as she backed away. And as she did, he respected it, staying where he was, for now. He still didn't want to stand too far away from her, still afraid she'd tumble and fall any second now. So he continued keeping an eye on her, and a smile across his lips.

As the thoughts of agreeing to his plan went through her mind, Jake remained where he was, continuing to offer his hand with a gentle smile. He had her. If she wouldn't agree, blackmailing was an option. He could turn her life into a living hell. But he didn't want to. He didn't want to hurt her. She'd already been hurt far too much, by the ignorance of men. She didn't need more of that. So he prayed the gods he didn't believe in, that she'd agree. And to his luck, she did. He smiled and gave her hand a gentle squeeze, before she asked if she could leave. His smile dropped slightly, clearly not all that favoring the idea, but still took a few steps out of the way, making her a clearing for the back door.
"I can't really hold you here.. But. Please don't take this the wrong way, but. I would really rather you stay." He said, now smiling lightly again. "First of all, it'd be horribly irresponsible of me, to let you walk home, alone at least, in this condition." He started, nodding a single time, but still making sure she knew he didn't judge her for it in any way. "Second.. I.. Could use the company?" He suggested, smiling lightly as he shrugged his shoulders. But again, he took a few steps further out of the way, bowing a bit. "But I won't hold you here, against your will, Miss Rin.. But please.. Let me, at the least, walk you home if you decide to leave?" He suggested, still smiling in the same gentle manner as before.

So he got a good look at her. Well wasn't that nice. But at least, he was going to delete the video. She wondered how long he stared at her. Did he like what he saw? Why the hell was she mentally asking that? As for when it came to 'him', Korin tilted her head to the side slightly. So did he work for the law or something? Was he a hacker? Did it matter, he was helping her and she rather liked it. It touched her tremedously and she could feel her eyes ready to produce tears. No more crying, she's done a lot. “I uhh.....thanks.....for...doing that.”

When she asked to leave, that smile that made him look so damn charming almost changed into a complete frown. Was she in such a bad state? I guess she was, else he wouldn't be offering to take her home so she wouldn't stumble along the path way. Could she even make it home? And he wanted company? Something inside her was gearing up, as if the gears inside her mind were spinning and working. It wouldn't be that wrong to just stay a bit longer. He just wanted company. Have something to eat perhaps. A drink. A drink sounded nice though at the thought of that, her stomach lurched and Korin fought against her stomach. Maybe she should stay. For all we know, she wouldn't make it half way. She would end up, veering off the path, find the nearest tree trunk to hold onto and let it all out. Yeah. She doubted he wished to deal with that. No man did. Big turn off. Besides that, her vision was getting a bit blurry and Korin squinted a bit, blinking her eyes to better focus. It felt as if she was about to tumble over, body swaying to the side. Realizing she was swaying, she dropped her clothes and her hands reached forward, snagging his arms, body swaying forward to him now, holding on to dear life. “I-I'm sorry.....I.....” She swallowed, feeling her saliva glands working. Uh oh, fight it. Fight your stomach. “Please......bathroom. Now, please.” She tightened her grip on his arms, body shaking. Don't throw up. Please for the love of whatever God, do not let her throw up on this man. She would never live it down. Beside, it seems the choice was made and she would end up staying here for the moment.

He was such a sweet man. He hadn't been angry with her or irritated. Jake was just looking out for her, that's all. To spew all over him would ruin this nice moment they were having. Maybe she should have eaten something before drinking. It would have helped a bit. She wasn't usually a heavy drinker.

He smiled with her thanks, and nodded a single time in recognition, but mentioned little more of it. He didn't exactly want to talk about her ex-fiance, considering it was probably a sore subject for her, and it wasn't exactly tactful to talk about others ex'. Why not? He asked himself the question, and could only come to one solution. That he fancied her. But given he hadn't really been in contact with women for a long time, and he was probably desperate, that shouldn't be so strange. Especially considering she was half naked in his pool room, and she was extremely attractive. But even with all the desperation, and the several good, solid reasons to take advantage of this situation, he wouldn't. He couldn't. She was in a state, where he'd never forgive himself from taking advantages. It could have been far too easy, to just abuse this. Take advantage. She didn't want the press' eye, so she would probably never tell on him. But he was too decent of a man, to take advantages. Parts of his brain, cursed him for that gallant way of thinking.

He observed her, as she seemed to way the possibilities. Her choice. Decide what she wanted to do. Even if she wouldn't allow him to walk her home, and she should decide to go, he wouldn't let her do so alone. He would follow her, and make sure she made it all the way. But she didn't seem to be in a hurry, anymore. And that caused his smile to return, as he waited a final answer. She seemed to want to say something, but suddenly tumbled in his direction. He held out his hands, making sure he would catch her if she should fall, but only held on to her arms, now that she was holding his. And with her plea, he nodded a single time, and tried to put an arm around the back of her waist, and lead her towards the house.
"Of course. It's right in here." He hurried as much as she could muster, trying to quickly lead her to the nearest bathroom. The nearest being a few feet from the pool room exit, so he could quickly get her there. "Here you go." he stated, opening the door for her, letting her inside. The lights turned on in there automatically, showing off a highly fashionable bathroom. It had a white and golden theme, with almost antique, well kept looking metals and wood. She offered her help to get down to the toilet, and then stepped back, letting her clean her system. He smiled lightly, with a slight crooked expression of compassion and petty, before stepping towards the exit.
"Take your time. I'll get you a toothbrush, and bring your clothes in here." He said, smiling lightly as he left the bathroom.

He went to the downstairs bathroom, where he fetched a spare toothbrush, never used, bringing it back upstairs. He hummed softly as he did, putting the toothbrush on a table, as he went to get her things in the pool room. He demanded everything be shut in the pool room, except of course the heater, and brought her things, and the new toothbrush, to the toilet.
"Here you go." He said as he entered, smiling the same as he had before, as he put her things down by the sink. "Your welcome to take a bath as well. And when your done, there's a blanket waiting for you in the living room, which is just to the right when you leave this room. If I'm not there, I'll be downstairs, changing, and right with you." He explained with a smile, bringing her bottle, though. "Think we can agree, you've had enough. You can have this back, when ever you leave." He chuckled teasingly, as he walked out of the room.

When ever she left the room, she'd find the interior of the rest of the house, to be very fashionable as well. But a lot more modern, then the antique looking bathroom. Everything was well kept, and beautiful. And should she head for the living room, she'd find a rather large room, containing a large couch, a slightly smaller couch and several comfortable reading chairs, siting in a group in the middle of the room, all in white. There wasn't any TV, that she could see at least. And there was what seemed to be a large tinted window. Tinted so dark, that it was impossible to look out of.
If she had decided to take a bath, she'd find Jake siting in one of the comfortable chairs, with a cup of coffee in his right hand, and a cigarette in the left.

He was so sweet and Korin wished she could enjoy his arm around her, but her stomach was having none of that. She slammed her hand over her mouth to keep anything that was coming up from slipping through her lips. When they finally reached the bathroom, she couldn't even admire it. Her mind and eyes focused on the toilet, Jake so kind as to help her to her knees. Glad her hair was tuked inside the robe, or else. She didn't want him to see her as she let it out, but apperantly her body couldn't wait. She let loose. He spoke and she merely waved her hand, her face practically inside the damn toilet bowl. Oh gee, look at her, the porcelin queen. Her stomach burned and so did her throat.

She felt Jake return, hearing him place her things down. No longer throwing up, she nodded saying an echoed, “Thank you,” to him as he let her know where to go once she was done. How long would she be like this. She didn't want to have him haul her unconcious body out of this bathroom. After he left, Korin did a few more heavy heaves, before she was okay in getting up. She flushed the toilet, made sure to clean any mess she made, which miracle to say, she actually didn't. Seems that even when drunk, she was determined to stay clean. Grabbing the tooth brush, she went to the sink and stopped, seeing how she looked. Her hair was in tangles, her face pale, her eyes sporting a soft under circle. To think Jake was looking at this. “How sexy am I?” She said and went about, looking for some tooth paste, brushed her teeth, spit, rinsed, brushed again, spit, rinse and wipe her mouth. She also found some mouth wash and took a swig, making sure the minty liquid got everywhere inside her mouth before spitting. With that done, she was finally able to take a gander at the bathroom. Fancy as can be. Vintage actually. The tub was what got her and that shower head. Taking Jake up on his offer, she removed her robe and panties and took a nice hot shower, her fingers combing through her tangled hair.

She hoped she didn't take long. She blow dried her hair with a hair dryer she found, her hair mildly wavy and volumized. Clothes back on, she folded the robe and set it on the sink before turning the lights off and leaving. Sandals clapping against the floor, Korin made her way, going through the direction Jake told her to go until she found the living room. He was there, on the couch. “I'm sorry....if I took long.” She said as she approached and sat down on one of the chair next to him. Her eyes wandered about the large, spacious living room. Were all cottages like this. This felt more like a million dollar home than some sort of cottage. “You have a wonderful living room. And your bathroom was wonderful as well.” Light conversation. Good. Help break the awkwardness she was feeling. “Look....umm.....thanks.....for everything. I know you don't have to, but........thanks.” she blushed and looked away from him. “Never thought something like this would be happening to me.” She chuckled. “But I'm sure you don't want to hear about me anymore. Care to tell me a bit about yourself? Are you married? Or have a girlfriend?” Why the hell would she asked that first. She should have asked if he had a pet first and what his favorite color was. Korin shouldn't be thinking about being in a relationship, that or thinking about hooking up even if its just a one night stand. It wasn't like Jake wanted to hook up. So far he's been friendly. Teasingly friendly, but he hasn't given any indication about hooking up nor has he been flirting. “Sorry.....didn't mean to ask that.....” Maybe instead of thinking about getting close, she should start thinking about something else, but her mind wasn't much help. If it wasn't his eyes, it was his lips, if not his lips, his body, if not his body, his arms. God, what the hell was wrong with her?

“Maybe....can I ask....why you wanna stay hidden? Did you do something bad?” and why the hell do you look so damn familiar, she wanted to ask, but decided not to. Maybe if she didn't know now, it would be best. She wouldn't have to feel so awkward around him.
