Tyler Andrews hadn't felt this much pain in a while.
While home from school for the winter holidays, the 21-year-old Northeastern State University student began to play in pickup basketball games at the local YMCA to stay in shape. Today didn't go so well, however, as he turned his ankle badly and left early.
As he pulled into his driveway, he noticed his mom's car in the driveway and became a little puzzled. Considering she was usually working at this time of day, something had to be wrong...right?
He got out of his car and hobbled into the garage, favoring his left ankle as he walked in his gray college hoodie and his basketball shorts. Opening the door quietly, he felt the heat from the house hit him immediately. He removed the hoodie and set it in the laundry room, now in his sleeveless shirt then showed up a fair amount of muscle tone. Tyler's dark brown hair was messed up a little bit as he walked through the house.
As he was about to let his mother know he was home, he heard her voice in a quiet conversation, followed by a familiar male voice and then his mother's soft giggling. Arching an eyebrow, he silently moved closer to where he heard the voices coming from.
The pain in his ankle was bad enough, but what he was about to see was going to blow his mind.
