Kira wasn't really certain what she was going to do with an entire weekend without her parents around. It was Friday night, her parents had just left with instructions that she needed to listen to Kyle and she couldn't have any sleepovers. Not that her best friend Mindy could have stayed over right now as it was. Mindy had been grounded for something but she didn't know what it was.

So, after her parents left, she had gone up to her room and grabbed one of her books she bought just a couple days ago at the local bookstore deciding she would take the time to read. She loved reading, she had good grades in school and after school on Tuesday's and Thursday's she helped with a community reading program for younger kids. With her book in hand, she made her way down the stairs and went to the living room where she curled up on the couch and began reading.

Her red hair was loose and curled over one shoulder, her legs mostly bare other than the pair of blue jeans that were settled over the curve of her ass and her upper legs just down to mid thigh. The top she wore was one of her favorite v necks with the words 'Thank God I'm Female'. It had a picture of Betty Boop on it. She didn't know whether her parents had left money for her and her brother or not for the weekend.

After a while, she set down her book and called out, "Kyle, do you want me to make something for dinner? Or do we have money for pizza?" The latter she asked with hope tinging her voice. It had been a couple months since the family had called out for pizza but with her parents out of town for the weekend on their anniversary trip, she wouldn't mind.

Remembering something she went on to add, "Oh... if not I have money left still from my babysitting...?"

Kyle[/color] Stretched lightly as his three day weekend started. He had arranged all his college courses so that he had a three day weekend, but this one was unique in that he had to spend it looking after his little sister. At first the house had been rather quiet after their parents left. Which he admitted it often was. With his sisters love of reading and his class set and studies the house often ran a little soft in the noise department.

When his sister yelled for him he blinked pulling his head away from the laptop and the next set of papers he had to read for his classes. Stretching he really didn't want to have to deal with his sisters cooking it wasn't that it was bad, just that the house tended to get hot when the oven was turned on. Getting up from his chair it was clear that he had a rather lazy day, with grey track pants that covered the lower half of his body, and dark blue muscle shirt. that showed off his muscular arms. He sighed scratching his brownish hair for a moment thinking over the options.

"Mom and dad left us with about 200$, but I also need to do some groceries at some point tomorrow we are running low on essentials. If you wanted to though I guess we could split a medium and then I could drive out and pick it up. It's cheep that way." As Kyle spoke he rubbed the back of his neck feeling all the little muscles pop in place as he relaxed. ordering in was a little too expensive but a pick up order was good, and hell they could do with the drive. He knew a pizza place that happened to be close by, just a block past that small liqueur store.

Taking up the phone he shook his head a bit still trying his best to wake up. Seeing his sisters figure he noted how she was walking around. ~Do our parents seriously let you go to highschool like that?~ He thought for a moment before shaking his head. "What kind do you want?" He said knowing that his sister would be delighted to actually have pizza.

Kira stood up and stretched, her arms going above her head as she listened to her brother. When he agreed to pizza she turned and her lips curled into a bright smile and she nodded, "Sounds good." She walked over to her brother and wrapped her arms around his neck for a brief embrace, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Meat lovers with pineapple as always." She smiled again, "Thanks Kyle, pizza will be a real treat."

She stepped away from him, twirling in innocent enjoyment as she went to the kitchen and took out a glass before going to the fridge and taking out some sweet iced tea. "Want a glass of iced tea?" She asked her brother, though she had waited until he had finished with the call before asking the question.

She knew it would take at least a few minutes before they would have to head out in order to go pick up the pizza. She doubted her brother would leave her at the house alone even though Kira believed she was old enough. "After we eat, I'll probably go up and read in my room if you want to watch the game or something so I won't be in the way." Not to mention she never wanted to be around when sports were on. Her father was always watching them didn't matter what season, football, baseball, basketball, hockey... their father was a sports fanatic.

She never knew if Kyle liked them or just sat cause dad always called for him to join him. She supposed she never really thought about it, her brother was older and had his own life, it had nothing to do with her most times. Okay, she would admit when she was younger she had kind of followed her brother everywhere when she could and loved it, but now she was old enough to understand that she could love her brother without being a pain. Besides, now she had school and her future to consider, so those often took her mind off other things.
