Jorja licked her lips as she glanced around. She wasn't well dressed. The slavers rarely gave the slaves much covered up, so she had to steal a blanket to wrap around her shoulders. She slipped out the back and ran as fast as she could away from the place. It was late afternoon and most people were going home. So the crowds were thick. She wrapped the blanket securely around her shoulders as she shoved past people. She wanted as far away from that building as she could. She did not want to go back there. It was bad there.
