Need help making a decision

I have just recently beat "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" for the 3DS, which unlocked a new mode. In this new mode the maps are reversed, there are swarms of enemies, how you play through the dungeons is different, even Link's sword and shield hands are swapped. Now my question is as follows:
Should I do the "Three Heart Challenge" on this already difficult Playthrough?
