[Nyakuni]

Kaydee woke with a throbbing headache. She was sore all over, and stinging in many other areas. She opened her eyes reluctantly, and when she did, the light burned her eyes. She hissed and sat up, covering her eyes with her arms, which proved to be a mistake. Her body protested the movements, and she groaned as the pain got more intense before ebbing back into a sore state. Slowly removing her arms from her line of vision so as to adjust to the light, Kaydee searched her surroundings. She was still wedged uncomfortably in her seat in the flying machine, which was lying broken and scattered across the forest floor. She was bleeding. It was a miracle that the monsters hadn't reached them yet if she'd been unconscious long. Coughing and cringing at the sensation of pain as she pried herself out and fell onto the ground, she dragged herself further away, trying to gain a better view.
