"Sirron, Sirron, Sirron" a deep strong voice called out. A small neko boy raised his head from his slumber, (his ears squickly perking up) in a small hut with a dirt floor. He jumped up rather quickly making sure to grab a hat to cover his ears. He quickly ran outside. There was a small group of men waiting for him, not one of them looked happy to see him accept for one that one was his keeper. His keeper was the one who fed him and watched over him most of the time to make sure he didn't escape. He always seemed kind, and smiled at him. The rest generally just scowled at him. "It's time to go sirron, we need to get some fresh lumber, and go hunting. " Sirron shook his head, and accompanied the men out of the village.
Sirron was a demon out of place. Many years ago there was a massive woodland (raccoon, fox, squirrel, neko) demon tribe living nearby. They were violent, lustful, and on more than one occasion killed the humans of this little village of shuuradi; until one night the villagers grew sick of it, and in the early morning before daybreak destroyed the evil sinful demons in there sleep. They were compassionate enough to do it in there sleep so they weren't force to endure torture. The only one they found good enough to keep was Sirron. Sirron was a very special child, on the back of his neck rested a strange looking depiction it was like a crescent moon engulfed in the outline of a flame. Sirron was told since he had this marking they decided to spare his life, but all other demons were pure evil, and if he ever saw one he was to report to them immediately. Though Sirron was told he was a part of the village he was only allowed out of the village when gathering was needed to be done, he couldn't let his ears show, he was to give into none of his more animalistic nature, and he was especially not to interact with the children of the village not even the one's his age. He remembered when he was caught playing with one of the children once. he earned seven lashes one of which left a small cut just underneath his eye on his cheek. Yet regardless of this Sirron was content where he was. He felt he could serve no greater roll in this world than helping his village.
Sirron took much pride in his help efforts. Being a demon he could lift as much as the strong men of the village, he could smell good game from far away, and he could easily climb trees. Today was going just as any day prior to it until Sirron picked up a strange alluring scent. He would generally tell the villagers that he smelled something fresh, but this scent was different it was alluring, but not mouth watering. He closed his eye's to concentrate more on the smell. Without realizing it he slowly, and quietly veered away from the group to track down the smell. He moved through the tree's as silently as possible for a human his senses ,and skills were honed, but for a demon he was dulled beyond comparison. He stopped on a tree near the river. He was stunned by the smooth looking milky female skin that he saw. He blushed knowing he shouldn't be watching. He gulped, i wonder if i can get closer? he thought to himself. His vision began to focus more. 'was that a tail?' He thought to himself.
"Sirron!" he heard the many voices of the village men calling for him. He watched the female turn around. were those ears that perked up? he didn't have time to figure it out now. He took one last glance before rushing back to the men.
"AHHH!!!!" Sirron cried out gritting his teeth as blood slowly drained from his back, and tears drained in a strong continuous stream down his face. He was thrown into his hut. He had disobeyed by leaving the others site for even a minute he was whipped for each minute he caused the village men to wait. He was sure that his keeper who always smiled so kindly at him would've said words on his behalf when he was speaking before the counsel, before the punishment was carried out. But all he said was. "If we don't do this you won't learn better and you'll become like one of those other filthy demons." And to ad insult to injury he was given no food (The food he found, helped kill and carry back he couldn't eat.) . He could hear the two guards outside his hut talking. "We should kill him it's to much trouble, and concern to keep him alive here. what if...", "Sh..." the other guard insisted. In all this time in all Sirron's days it had never occurred to him to leave. Not even now as he layed on the dirt floor of his hut cold, hungry and alone. As he began to fall asleep he began to think of ways to atone for his disobedience.
The girl he saw that day is named Autumn. She is somewhat young as well, almost the age of 13. Autumn has calico cat ears and a calico cat tail. Her eyes are a cool green color.
She had been left near the river by her kind for a coming of teen hood ceremony. She was having to take care of herself with the help of her mentor, Wind. Wind is a kind male neko with a whitish blue tail, pair of ears and eyes. He is 32 years of age. He stands at 6 feet.
Sirron had seen Autumn while she was bathing and Wind was back at the camp. She had noticed a presence somewhat nearby her but by the time she looked where she thought the creature should be Sirron had already left. Autumn shrugged and went back to cleaning herself. Once she was finished she heads back to the campsite while smiling because she was happy to go back to see Wind. Once back at the campsite she runs up to Wind and hugs him. He looks down at her because she is much shorter than him. He tells her "Welcome back. I have cooked the rabbit we caught earlier."
Autumn's mouth starts to water. She hadn't eaten yet that day. She stops hugging him and heads over to the cooked rabbit to sit down. While she goes to sit down Wind goes and grabs a bottle of water and pours two cups of water. He walks back over to Autumn and hands her one. He then cuts the rabbit with a stone knife and puts a piece in her hand. She talked to him about the creature she had sensed earlier that day. The way she described it confused Wind. He told her to bring him to where she sensed it tomorrow. This may not seem demon like but Autumn preferred to act like this and Wind knew that. After they ate they go to bed under the stars.
Autumn's past is sad. She had lost her mother a neko and her father a human which was her only family. They were murdered by humans because humans should not be with demons. Before they were though they had made her stay by the village to be found. They told her what the humans were going to do to them and then left. Wind had been the one who found her. She had told him about what the humans were going to do and he comforted her. Secretly, Wind new Autumn's mother. She had lived in the village where Autumn and Wind lived. Autumn's mother had been his first crush. For this reason and because no one else wanted Autumn he took her in.
