Problem with notifications?

Has anyone else reported issues with their notifications, my thread subscriptions only seem to email me half the time (and I set them to do so every time) and my PM notifications come in at random intervals, some right away and some hours or even a day late... is there an issue with the site or could it just be my end?

And if it is my end how do I fix this?
