She loved him and he loved her. Since they were young, they were the best of friends. When they were young teens they became girlfriend and boyfriend. He was sweet and charming and she was full of laughter and care. It wasn't long before their love had blossomed and it went to the next level. The look upon Gabby's face was priceless when he proposed to her in the middle of a gorgeous restaurant with both of their families secretly hidden amongst the crowd. Gabriella could never remember a better time in her life. Her amber eyes lit up and her smile was a bright white and that night was pure magic. Long ebony locks were splayed upon the soft pillows of their bed as the future Misses Dimonte waited for her fiance to come home. Lately he had been working later into the day and claimed to be too tired to do anything. With a simple kiss to the lips he would fall asleep. However when he left for work that next day, the furthest thing from her mind was him leaving her. When he didn't arrive home that night she slipped a long coat over her night gown and drove down to his job where he was not to be found.
When he was not found there, she called his mother. She told her to stay calm and when Gabby said that she would call the police his mother insisted on not doing that. "But I have to find him. He doesn't just up and vanish." She was consoled and then a few days turned to a week. Weeks turned to months and months turned to a year. It had been a horrid year. She was depressed and heart broken. Fearful that she may never see him again. In the mean time, she had picked up modeling, having done fairly good and picking up some great contracts. Some from abroad as well. Yet she lived in the same home that they once owned. His mother had moved out of their quaint little town to New York. Over the phone she had been consoling the girl that would have once been her daughter in law. Nothing seemed the same. No... nothing was the same. She tried to live on with her life and yet he kept coming back to haunt her. Even in her dreams. It was a chilly night. For some reason a walk in the park sounded like a very nice idea. A long sleeved shirt was slipped on with a neckline that showed off her voluptuous bust. Long ebony locks cascading down her back and auburn eyes looked back at her reflection in the mirror.
The twenty-three year old female slipped on a skirt and some comfortable knee high boots before walking out the door. The sun was already beginning to set, but the park was but a block away. They use to hang out in the park together. It was where he gave her, her first kiss. Where they had become girlfriend and boyfriend. She use to sit on the swing and he would push her as they killed time talking and making out. He was her life and here she was still trying to pick up the pieces. Upon a swing she sat as parents and children began leaving the park for dinner time. There she sat thinking. Thinking of the man she once loved as she gently swung. "Wes Dimonte... where have you gone?" She sighed out loud to no one in particular.
