There was no way he was letting her go, she belonged to him, she had been his since the first day that he laid eyes on his at the start of their Senior year of high school. He had been her first and he had intended to be her only. It was practically love at first sight, she had come from a lower income end of the town, a broken family, often picked on by other students at the school but when he laid eyes on her he had seen something there, she was the perfect young woman to be molded to his desires. His every fantasy, his sadistic fantasies, she had been there to be everything that he could have ever wanted. When he had gone to college he had ensured that his family pulled a few strings, making sure that she would get a scholarship that would allow her to go along with them... even getting them an apartment so they could avoid the troubles of living in separate dormitories.

Of course things had not been perfect, nothing was really perfect, he was possessive, quick to jealousy and anger. They had been happy together though, Dominic took care of her, ensured that she had everything she needed and of course she took care of his considerable needs. More then once she had threatened to run off on him though, maybe disappearing for a weekend but she always came back... until the time that she didn't.

That night had started off easily enough, a friend of his was throwing a party to celebrate the end of their sophomore year at college, Dominic had gone to it and tried to insist that she go along... but she had claimed that she had cramps, that she wasn't in the mood to go out, and eventually he had relented and allowed her to stay home while he went out. That night he drank too much, ended up crashing on the couch, and when he made it home late the next morning she was gone. Some of her clothing was gone, as was her car, but her phone had been left behind.

At first Dominic hadn't been concerned, she always came back after running off for a little bit and he knew that once he taught her a well deserved lesson she would happily curl up in his arms with a smile once more. SO he waited for a few days, but then after the fourth day when she hadn't come back he tried to find her... but her facebook was deleted, none of their friends had heard from her, and she wasn't with her mother... it was as if she had dropped off the grid.

Dominic wasn't just going to let her go, she belonged to him. Dipping into his trust fund he had hired a private investigator, waiting patiently for word on where she had disappeared too.

It had taken some time though, well into the first semester of his junior year when he had gotten her new location, the new school she had enrolled in. As soon as he could Dominic had put in for a transfer, it came in just around the end of the semester.

He arrived at his new college, her new college. Finding an apartment there didn't take too long and soon Dominic had moved in, just in time for her twenty first birthday in fact.

The Private Investigator had given him her address and following her hadn't taken much difficulty, she wasn't looking for him to following never proved to be a challenge. While following her about he had over heard plans for her birthday, a club that her friends planned to take her too, plenty of liquor.

The party was that very night, pulling on a well tailored suit after he dried off from the shower, ensuring his hair was combed perfectly into place, and applying a hint of the cologne that she had gotten for him for his last birthday. Her own gifts were in a small box, wrapped and tucked under his arm as he left his apartment, the club only a short walk away.

He arrived just a little while after the party was set to start, the bouncer at the door not giving him a second look as he walked into the club, immediately assaulted by the music and the lights... but none of them were able to distract him for a moment... his eyes were drawn to her even across the club... tonight was the night that she would be reminded who she belonged too, that she couldn't just escape from him.

Things had been happy at first, things had been normal. Dominic had helped her from a present that seemed hopeless and morphed it into something beautiful. When there had been no one else to turn there, there he had been like a knight on the back of a white stallion; loving and caring. But as time progressed, the illusion began to fade away. What first had seemed nothing more than too much love fell away to obsessive mania. Every time she had turned around Dominic was there, questioning and pushing. Demanding to know where she had gone, who else had been there and what had been done. Sometimes he even proved to get a bit testy in his hands and more than once Emilie ended with a ring beneath one eye her her lower lip split and puffy. But it always ended the same way. After some tears were spilled, he grabbed his fearful lover close and they lay together until the sun set the next day. Then the circle would pick up once more.

One day, Emilie could not take it anymore. The circle had to be broken, she had to get away. Any longer under his spell and there could be nothing to come but a long life of slowly being smothered. The day of his friend's party she had packed a bag, grabbed her valuables, some cash and never once looked back. Admittedly it was quite hard to just up and abandon everything she had known for so many years... Maybe one day she would be able to pick up a phone and call all her friends who had been left in the dust.

But months slipped into a year and a call never came to anyone.

It had been surprisingly easy to slip into a new life once the weight of her old have been successfully shaken off. Emilie felt renewed, free and optimistic. A small little apartment had been gained in the sleepy city, just on the outside of the closet college, which she enrolled into in the spring. A few friends had been gained. Most lived in the same complex, although a few had been gained in her college courses. Everything seemed to fall right into place and the memories of what seemed to be another live all together fell away. This was her life now. A life as Lucille, and it was all Emilie had ever dreamed of.

Months rolled by in her new happy life without hitch. Every day as perfect as the last, peppered with only the difficulties an everyday person would have; broke, bored and occasionally tired and hungry when she parted her night job too long or had no money for food after bills. It was sometimes a struggle to get by, but it was a fight Lucille was more than happy to make. She was free and toughing life by herself without Dominic looming over her shoulder.

Tonight was not not the same as any other night. Tonight was a night of dancing and celebration. Tonight was Lucille's first birthday in her new life and it was also her twenty-first. A group of friend had vehemently persuaded that it would be best spent at the local night club. Drinks, dancing, music, the works. Nearly all her friends were eager to come and a few had even pulled a few strings to get a big portion of the club made V.I.P. just for their group. Lucille's best friend Sylva had picked out matching dresses for them to wear and had even spent the night so they could spend the whole day getting pampered. The rest of the group got together around seven, meeting in their own vehicles but all compacting to two to drive up to the place.

Milky white flesh glistening in the iridescence of neon lights mixed with the full moon's glow, ruby lips curled in a smile and rich auburn hair done into a messy up-do, Lucille could barely contain herself as she entered the club. Slyva at one arm and Sebastian--mister tall and handsome with sea-foam eyes--on her other eyes. Strolling into the crowd, Slyva soon broke off to go nestle into her beau, leaving only Sebastian still attached, not that he seemed to mind. Jade eyes sleepishly lifted to fall upon sea-foam and immediately red spurned into rouge touched cheeks.
"I want to thank you guys for setting this all up for me... You guys are the best...."

All the while, Dominc's presence fell upon ignorance. Unaware for the predator lurking among cast shadow and strobe lights.

The PI had briefed Dominic about the name change and he really wasn't fond of it, as far as he was concerned she was still Emilie, his Emilie... she would always be his. The little arguments they had, knowing she ended up a little bit bruised and sore... none of that really mattered because at the end of the day she would end up in his arms... like it or not she would end up in his arms and the subtle pains and aches would be forgotten in the pleasure that only he could provide for her. She always learned her lesson, remembering how she should behave and Dominic was always happy to embrace her once she was back in her proper place.

This was what was running through his head as he first saw her in the club, her hair making her easy to pick out even in the veritable sea of people in the club. It seemed that what he had heard was true, her friends had scraped together some money and arranged for a portion of the club to be set up as private just for the party they were throwing. Of course there was little more then a velvet rope that had been set up to keep the majority of the club separate from the V.I.P. Area, some bottles being carried over by the waitresses, and of course people having a good time...

But none of that really mattered, because he saw her and who she was with. Some tall guy, really nothing mattered to Dominic more then the way she was looking at him. Of course Dominic had expected that she might have tried to foll around with someone during their six months apart, he had awakened a healthy sexual appetite in his Emilie, of course she would need to find some sort of release but Dominic fully expected her to fail. He had worked hard to ensure she was always satisfied, of course dealing with his own needs in the process, and for her to actually sleep with someone else would be going from Prime Cut Steak to little more the ground chuck.

The knowledge that this little punk couldn't possibly compete with him didn't do anything to quell the rage that was rising in Dominic though. He had always had a quick temper and he was starting to see red, her little flings while they were apart would have been forgiven once she had begged him... but to see her flaunt it. He had found plenty of outlets with her away but he wouldn't be flaunting them before her, she hadn't seen him rolling in bed with one of her closest friends who had come by to 'consul' the heart broken Dominic.

Dominic had no idea who this other guy was, but he would be finding a way to hurt this other guy, would teach him not to touch someone elses things, not to look at her like that.

His rage made him take a few steps forwards, a few steps towards the roped off section and away from the shadowed corner where he had been standing but he managed to take a deep breath, regaining control of himself and slipping on his normal charming smile, the face that he presented the world and got him just about anything he wanted when he didn't just resort to using his money.

He moved forward, crossing the dance floor with the grace of a stalking predator, a big cat entirely at ease with himself as he drew in on the focus of his attention... the crowd practically seeming to part before him. At the rope that sectioned off the party there was a bored looking man in a black t-shirt, clearly another bouncer who was less then attentive, barely giving Dominic a glance and when he saw the gift that he carried the rope was lifted and Dominic was allowed access.

He had been ready to wait, ready to just sit back and observe for a little while until he saw the opening, but when he had seen the look that his Emilie was giving that other guy he knew that he wouldn't be able to wait any longer.

The present was set aside, on a small table where others seemed to be leaving the presents for her as he approached her from behind.

His hands were on her hips, he stepped up against her, gently pressing his body to her back. “Happy birthday Emilie.” He whispered against her ear, ensuring no one else would hear her... wanting to catch her off guard so that he could more easily take control, take advantage of any fear or shock she might feel at his arrival.

Sebastian smiled widely. "But of course Lucille. It's your birthday. It really isn't that much of a hassle." He wanted to add that it was more than worth it to see that smile light up her face, but decided against it at the last moment. So much warmth and passion billowed in his chest, growing and growing each day. Sebastian knew he had fallen for Lucille the first time he saw her, so alone and frightened but with that brilliant smile. He knew from that point forth that he would do anything to see her smile. One hand lifted to cup Lucille's jawline, running slightly calloused digits along porcelain flesh, lingering a bit longer where cheekbones held a faint mist of freckles. "Let's just have a good time. You only get to turn twenty-one once." She smiled sheepishly, biting her lip in brief passing, only to emit a melodic bell of laughter "Yeah, you're right. I'm ready to party until the sun comes up!"

She trailed a hand upwards to delicately brush it along the back of his, stopping once svelte fingers laid on top of his. While she and Sebastian had never officially been anything more than good things, it was hard no denial the almost magnetic attraction between them. It could almost be felt in the form of a wall of heat which simultaneously pulled one to the other and yet in the same set a wall between them. Luciille's jade eyes tilted upwards, shaded under dark, long lashes, to scan across his face; first settling on his wide, warm smile then onto his kind and intense sea foam eyes. Eyes which gave the faint memory of Dominic and yet held a sense of kindness and comfort that his had never once expressed. Well, perhaps once in the beginning. Her smile wideened softly, moving to interlock their laid fingers in a soft squeeze. Enough to express a gentle affection.

"I will be there in a second, I'm just going to take off my coat and finish my coke,", she murmured sofly while unraveling her fingers to instead sweep back a few fiery locks which had fell against her brow. Sebastian seemed hesitant to leave but soon nodded and smiled. "Alright. Don't take too long Slyva is ready for us all to take a shot or two and get this party started." Turning upon a heel, he quickly dispersed into the undulating crowd, sounding only a whoop.

Just before Sebastian had left, Lucille had spotted the faint shadow of someone approaching. It was strange given all her friends had carpooled. Who else could have possibly known about the party let along want to join it? But she didn't give it too much thought. Slyva or one of the others could have invited their other friends or possibly put out word at school. Perhaps they were running late or just decided they wanted to go in their own ride. There was already going to be the issue of returning home since no one planned to be sober by the time the night had ended. Her focus had been adjusted back onto Sebastian despite a persistent nagging sensation embellished deep in her gut.

Now he was gone and her attention became a little more focused upon the approaching shadow. He seemed different among everyone else, carrying an authoritative presence and a precise pristine to his stride and attire. A sense of control which clawed towards familiarity but Lucille tried to push it aside. Some people tended to wear suits to clubs, not a lot but those with an extra amount of cash in their pocket tended to express in in extravagant threads. It was nothing to concern herself with and likely just old fear which sill from time to time decided to poke its head out when she was alone and most vulnerable.

Lucille settled her thoughts and sight instead towards the dance floor as she slipped her coat off, shrugging it off into a nearby chair. One settled towards a filled glass of dark umber soda upon the table, listlessly trailing soft finger pads through the perspiration, only to lift the glass to painted lips. She sipped on it quietly, feeling the carbonation tickle against her tongue before flowing down to her belly. Everything was fine and each thought soon filled with the thunderous bass of blasted beats.

So lost in the beat she had become ignorant to the fact that the haunting shade had slipped closer, blessed by the prowess of the apex predator Dominic so often played himself to be, until it was far too late to recoil. There was no even the chance to snatch herself free.

His voice filled her ear, even through heavy bass, piercing deep into her core. Time seemed to stand still, those captured by dance had sluggishly drawn to a halt and the music itself somehow silenced. Ice drew beneath his fingertips and drew up Lucille's sides like tentacles, steadily increasing elevation until the tendrils had settled to her breast, content to perforate her heart. There came a soft gasp and nothing further. Not for quite some time. Alabaster visage broken from its pleasure mask fell into something more familiar to him; fear. Her jade hued eyes wide, painted lips dropped into a circle and perfectly shaped brows remained hitched in unexpressed surprise.

"D-d-d-d-Dominic.... W....What are are you doing here? How did you...,", she began, honeyed voice set in a horrible tremble.

After a firm swallow, she began once more, wide eyes set to flit around in apparent panic. She wanted to scream, kick and flail around in hopes that someone would notice. But would anyhow hear here over the music? Would anyone assume there was trouble brewing? Just when all sense of hope had boiled down and the heat of approaching tears formed at the waterline, relief came in the form of Sebastian. He had spied the form snagging Lucille from behind--and while it wasn't much cared for--it was the terror in her face which had drawn him up from the dance floor.

Aggression expressed in the bowing of his broad shoulders and seeped from the scowl painted across his scruffy face. "You have a problem there buddy? She apparently doesn't want to be touched by you.
" It took all Sebastian had not to simply growl out the words, trying to stay cordial for the most part. A glance fell to Lucille's wide green eyes, aware that tears threatened to spill, but found it surprising how no sound came from her lips.

One hand reached forward, delicately but protectively encircling one of her trembling wrist, offering a slight tug to goad her away. "This is a private party you know?"

Though he stood behind her Dominic was able to see her face rather clearly with the aid of a well placed mirror on the wall of the club, the sort of thing put in place just for decoration served a further purpose by letting him savor the fear that rushed through her eyes. As he held her to him he was able to feel her body stiffen in shock. This was it, this was just what he had missed, the look of fear on her face was delicious to him, a well aged glass of scotch, a perfectly rolled cigar, a perfectly seasoned steak... all of these things paled before the look on her face and Dominic knew that he would soon be able to savor her every little expression soon enough. He would take in the eyes widened in fear, the blush of embarrassment, the slack jawed pleasure... all of it was something that he would be enjoying so soon and would never be denied it again.

“Did you really think that I wouldn't be able to find you?” He asked softly, leaning down to brush his lips over the side of her jaw, working to make it look like something of a surprise visit from a lover rather then an ambush from an abusive boyfriend who had tracked her down. “It took time but...”

His words were interrupted though by the source of the rage that had spurred him on. Being so close to Emilie again, having her pressed against him, able to smell that subtle perfume and the shampoo that she favored... for a little while the anger had washed away and been forgotten but when Sebastian returned, aggression painted across his every feature it all rushed back so quickly.

Dominic knew at once how this was likely to end, his mind flashing back to their senior year of high school, the party he had thrown after Prom. Emilie had maybe had a little too much to drink and he had left her with the others who were dancing and having a good time as he went to grab some water... but when he got back to the poolside he saw that the DJ had changed the music up to something a little slower and his drunk Emilie was dancing with some junior that Dominic barely recognized. It was the first time that his jealousy had been shown in such a way, with little difficulty he had torn the offending young man away from his Emilie, throwing him to the ground and proceeding to beat several kinds of shit out of him, only stopping when the young mans face was covered in blood and his own knuckled had split from the punches thrown.

No charges had been pressed, the police hadn't been called, and the young man had quickly been dragged out with his friends to get him patched up. Emilie had been taught a lesson later on, away from the gaze of the assembled people, Dominic's hands had been wrapped around her throat till she turned red, his eyes locked on hers as she grew closer to backing out, her struggles growing more and more pathetic.

“I think it best if your friend doesn't give me an excuse.” Dominic whispered again, this time his lips and teeth lightly catching her ear as he whispered for just her to hear. His left arm moved, encircling her waist and holding her tighter against him while his right hand trailed up slowly, boldly brushing up over her entire body before coming to rest just below her throat, a possessive gesture with a clear message to Emilie... things were going to go back to normal...

She was his again.

“I'm Dominic...” He said slowly, eyes narrowed as he met Sebastian's eyes and then glanced down at the hand that was grasping Emilie's arm... a hand that clearly was just begging to have a few broken fingers. “Lucille's boyfriend from back home... I just transferred schools so we could finally finish this long distance crap... I wanted to surprise her on her birthday.”

He was banking on her not having told anyone the details of her past, after all she hadn't told anyone about his darker nature when they had been together... and he doubted that she was going to start now. Catching her by surprise Dominic knew that he could gain control of the situation now, if only he kept things moving too fast for her to react too. “So I think it is best that you let go of her arm and then I can buy us all some drinks... first few rounds are on me tonight.”

Money... flaunted might not deal with Sebastian who Dominic could see was plainly in love with Emilie, but it would help him gain the trust of her other friends... people were predictable after all.

Lucille's sight swelled with panic and relieve, spying Sebastian's form butting his way through the crowds. Yet it remained nothing but an insignificant presence compared to the terror wrought through her soul. Any attempt to bypass or ignore it only found the sensation to intensify, swelling until it threatened to crush her head and chest alike. Her plump lips trembled upon feeling his drag along alabaster fell, creating a cascade of warmth and chill. There sounded a soft whimper and not much more, unable to reply to his sardonic hiss in ear's shell. In fact, all the poor girl could do was tremble in the shoulders and hope to not ultimately collapse in an uncouth heap. Tear-filled eyes fluttered shut, pressing damp lashes flush against the spray of barely there freckles. A trembling breath drew and exhaled in a feeble pitch.

Finally a response came in the form of jade eyes opening, turning to regard him through eye's corners, slightly obscuring her fearful look by drawing down her lashes. It could not diminish the tremble in her painted lips. Noe could it sponge the scent of fear hanging heavily in the surrounding air. Lucille had nearly been overcome before Sebastian's growling pitch perforated the atmosphere. Only then had she finally been able to breathe.

Dominic's rising temper, while not seen, could be felt with ease. His skin grew hot and there was the noted tension wracked in his muscles; each coiled tight at her backside like a waiting cobra. There rose the dire need to warn Sebastian of the rising exigency billowing from Dominic's core. To become the sacrificial lamb and spare a gruesome fisticuffs between each aggressive man. But never could vocals generate even a single word.

Only nervous breath fluttered free punctured by the occasional little chime of a whimper emanated through tremulous lips.

Sebastian noted her deer in the headlight manner, picking up the vibes unspoken yet unable to completely fit the puzzle together into its proper place. Nevertheless, he refused to simply drop it cold. Between Lucille's fear and the vibe stemming from his core, simply allowing her to be swept away would only proceed in placing him to blame. He would not willingly release his friend, the object of his affections, into the grasp of someone who in truth, seemed nothing more than a stranger. His touch did not dwindle from its perch, not until poor Lucille suddenly lost balance and toppled back, goaded by her envious past lover's arm encircling about. Doe-mannered eyes swept up in spurned panic, laid onto Dom then snapping down over towards Sebastian.

"M-mhn....", she murmured softly, closing her eyes. The lay of his hand against her throat, although ominous and foreboding, admittedly spurned a geyser of heat under pristine white flesh. And with it, heat pooled against her belly. Time after time Lucille had tried to deny and vehemently repent against it, but there came a pleasure from the gesture which had come far too regularly in their warped relationship. Memories of the previous attempt still registered fresh in her mind and often, alone in her bed, it felt as if hands had ringed her throat and squeezed until she coughed and sputtered for breath and awoke doused in a cold sweat.

Every time a different scenario but they all ended the same way. Those well crafted hands situated along her graceful swan-esque neck. It would always end that way, or another black eye and swollen lips.

Nervously, Lucille shuffled in place, adjusting herself enough to draw one hand and place it where Sebastian's resided on the opposing wrist. Upon painted lips, a smile struggled to form while pallid jade eyes conjured the most assuring look which could be mustered. Before comfort could be uttered however, a suspicious Sebastian spoke abrasively in a cordial manner through held teeth. "Funny. She never mentioned anything about you. Not so much as a peep. Nor have I heard anything coming from you either."

His eyes settled briefly upon Lucille then scoured over to Dominic, clearly challenging his statement. Yet, soon enough callous-touched fingers relinquished their hold, for now, willing to play further into the play. Poor Lucille looked as if she were ready to combust at any possible second and it was after her her birthday.

"Sure... drinks.. why not...", he remarked near thoughtlessly, casting a fleeting look to where the remainder of the group already sat huddled at the bar.

It was subtle, hardly there unless you were paying very close attention, but Dominic knew her body and he knew just what his hand on her throat was doing too her. He felt her press back against him, a little heat from her face blushing, and Dominic didn't even bother to hide how pleased he was at her reaction. He pressed back against her a little more, not quite grinding against her but enjoying the subtle motion of her body against his, the unconscious moments that seemed almost perfectly timed to the music that filled the club. She might not be able to control it, her reactions might not occur of her own free will but Dominic didn't really care at that point, even with some stranger grabbing her wrist as though he could pull her away Dominic felt content with the moment... she was his once again and there was nothing she would be doing to change that.

Sebastian's comment about the lack of Dominic being mentioned was only met with a confident smirk, this one might be a little more intelligent then Dominic was first giving him credit for but it hardly mattered... there was nothing he could do to change the inevitable. Emilie was going to be all his again very soon and at most he could just delay what was coming. “Didn't seem to catch your name either.” He pointed out, giving Emilie's throat just the slightest squeeze before trailing his hand back down, unable to resist a moments opportunity to twist his head and dip his head in for a quick little kiss, just the slightest brushing of his lips against hers in a chaste mockery of an intimate gesture.

“Why don't we go meet up with your other friends...” He suggested with a smile as he moved to the side, sticking close to what was his, am arm still wrapped around her waist and holding her close to his side as he led her towards the others that he had seeing her hand around with, ignoring Sebastian completely now that his hand was no longer on Emilie's wrist. Of course the other man would be watching closely, trying to find something he could do in order to separate them as best he could but Dominic wouldn't allow that to happen.

“I'm sure you remember how this works Emilie...” He whispered to her, working to ensure that no one else would hear them over the music, his lips brushing over her flesh again, savoring her taste. “You are going to smile, act as though nothing at all is wrong... introduce me to all your friends as the man of your dreams... and maybe when I take you home I won't hurt you too badly.” He would of course hurt her no matter what occurred, over the coming weeks and months he intended to ensure there wasn't a single waking moment where she didn't feel sore, feel some hint of discomfort from the bruises that he would repeatedly inflict upon her.

No more was said though, closer now to her friends he smiled at them, knowing the way they looked at him, the way they looked at each other, and then looked at Sebastian... he was unexpected but the drama might be entertaining.
