An eyebrow raised when Jack entered the kitchen with his hands behind his back. "Mmmm, no boyfriend, of course I have a crush but I'm not telling you who it is." It was nice having a parent who took an interest in her life. Whenever she called her mother (which was only once a week), it was just to hear her complain about how "Jack ruined my life, blah blah blah, I was going to be somebody blah blah blah." Chana was a good girl though, and didn't want anything in her life to be a regret.
When her dad finally pulled the roses and chocolates from behind his back, Chana jumped up and down in excitement. "Oh my gosh, I have been so wrapped up in school I forgot Valentines day was just around the corner." She threw her arms around Jacks neck and kissed him on the cheek before taking her gifts. "Thank you Daddy," another kiss on cheek after smelling the roses, "you're the best." She turned around to find a vase to put them in. Stretching up to the top of the fridge she reached for a large pink vase, her shirt slid up her flat stomach about two inches.
