"Fuck, the whole damn bus is shot," said the slim, sexy Vietnamese girl as she wiggled her way out from under the hood of the truck. She slammed her hand upon the car as she did, before reaching up to grab hold of her friend's offered hand. Soon enough, the Asian girl was standing next to both her bandmates, and she gestured toward the bus. "Must have hit something major, because it fucked up the undercarriage. I think there's a puncture in a tank too, either oil or gas, but I can't fucking tell because it's too fucking dark out."
"Well, fuck," said one of the two companions. Fuck seemed to sum up the whole experience, to be brutally honest. The trio of young females was, in fact, up and coming punk band: Twin-Sprites. Ironically, the girl who just wiggled out from under their tour bus was the non-twin: Vietnamese drummer Lanh-Linh Pham, who, despite her traditional name, was about as American as her two companions. She'd known Lex, one of the twins, since primary school, and they'd become thick as thieves sense. The twins' mother would likely assert that Linh was most of the reason the precious girls had gone off track, which wouldn't be strictly true. It hadn't been Linh's idea to get matching tattoos for all three of the band members: thorny flowers adorning the small of their backs, which they all tried to keep displayed at all times. It had, however, been her idea for the twins to get opposing nose rings. Each had a simple stud, Lex in her left nostril, Andy in her right.
That was another thing that Linh certainly hadn't influenced: the twin's tendency to mirror one another. Alexandria and Andriana were identical, at least, they had been at birth. For a handful of years, Alex and Andy had been nearly inseparable and damn near interchangeable. They often dressed identically, kept their deep red hair in the same style, even did the whole finishing each other's sentences thing. Yet they'd been divided when they got to primary, and Alex had fallen in with Linh, decided that she preferred "Lex," and they'd been diverging since. Andy still followed Lex, almost with puppy-like fascination. Linh and Lex weren't even entirely sure that Andy liked the music they played, even if she helped write most of the songs, not to mention being the lead singer. Yet Andy had been there since day one, mimicking her sister.
Both still had remnants of their original hair, though both had taken to adding splashes of color. Lex had a purple streak throughout her bangs, a loose spike of hair that often seemed to fall within range of her sharp blue eyes, whereas Andy had a neon pink streak moving in exactly the opposite direction. Lex had pierced her right ear, leaving a dangling earring; Andy, the left. Then the nose rings: each a small stud in the opposite ear. Lex currently even had a thick leather bracelet around her right wrist, with a loose metal one about left; while Andy, as to be expected, perfectly mirrored. Still, their faces were identical: small noses set within a round face, ice blue eyes often outlined in liner, like now, and pretty kissable lips (which Linh knew firsthand, thanks to a few drunken experiments, hopefully only with Lex). Constant moving about the stage had left all three girls lean, though Lex seemed slightly buffer than her twin, though you practically had to squeeze the girl to tell. Technically Linh was the fittest of all; came from being the drummer. Otherwise, they all looked pretty accurate to their name: smallish, cute girls with apparent attitude.
"what do we do?" asked Andy. She shifted, running a hand along her arm and looking back toward the bus. "I don't think Dirk's gonna make it."
"No shit," muttered Lex. She sighed, running her hand through her close-cut hair, technically the style was called the "Piece-y Pixie," which had been part of Lex's motivation to cut it. That, and she hadn't expected Andy to actually mirror this, since Andy had always been caught up in their longer hair. So much for that theory.
"Well, if we're heading anywhere, we're walking," said Linh. She pointed at finger at the bus, cocking it, and pretended to shoot. When she lowered her arm, it was to dust at the coveralls she'd thrown on. Which reminded her that she was cool to strip out of them, stepping out of the baggy outfit to reveal what she wore underneath. All girls were still dressed as, well, the punk rockers they were. Linh wore a relatively shirt, ragged black skirt with a pair of neon green and striped socks that went most of the way up her leg. You couldn't see much of the fairly pale skin underneath, though you could certainly make out the waif body underneath. Linh was definitely hot, in a willowy, Asian sort of way. Unlike the twins, she'd kept her hair long, arguably too long, considering that it nearly hit her waist. She did streak neon green throughout it. Also like the twins, she boasted a nose ring, though hers was certainly not a more demure stud. In fact, Linh boasted her share of piercings, including several up both ears, a belly ring, tongue, hell, even her clit was pierced, a fact that both twins were aware of. Unlike the sisters, Linh didn't have a mother who routinely forbade anything. The only reason she didn't have more tattoos was that, ironically, she seemed slightly allergic to most ink. She'd taken twice as long to heal as the twins.
And yeah, Lex had tried to identify with a tattoo, sneaking out to get a string of musical notes around her right ankle. Again, Andy had figured out and opted for the mirror. Which was especially ironic, considering that it was Lex who wasn't nearly as fond of pain as her sister, a fact that Linh often teased.
"Yeah, because I totally want to walk long distance in my 'fuck me' boots," muttered Andy, shifting. It was true, she was wearing "fuck me" boots: long, clunky things that stretched up her leg. They only had a moderate heel, but they did wonders for the legs, not to mention the tight, heart-shaped ass. Though it was likely personal preference, Linh thought that Andy had the better ass, whereas Lex had a better set of legs.
"Well, suck it up, sis," said Lex, nudging Andy. She took a few clomping steps away from the bus (of course she wore the same boots; they were both in matching scuffed up black jeans too). "They said something about a town a few miles ahead, right? We walk there, get some local help, and we're golden. Fuck, if we hitchhike, we'll get there even faster."
"I'd still like to know what the fuck we hit," muttered Linh, looking back at the bus. "What the fuck would mess up a fucking bus? That fucker was a fucking tank."
"A deer?" offered Andy, shrugging. Linh gave her a "don't be stupid" look.
"Come on you two," said Lex, gesturing and turning. "We've got a walk."
And so the three punk rockers, barely out of their teens, trumped down the road in the direction a sign promised as having a town. Considering that they'd been taking a back road to get to their gig quicker (they'd been held up at the airport, causing delay), they were hoping that the town wasn't completely backwards. Their driver needed help, not to mention the bus. If the girls had any hope of getting to their gig on time, they'd need all the aid they could get. For now though, they just trudged down the road. It would take hours, especially with Andy having boot issues, if they didn't get picked up by anyone, but hey, they'd at least reach the town, right? And there was bound to be people there happy to see them and help out a trio of attractive, if a little alternative, girls.
Right?
