I'm gonna lay it down for you: I find most real-world roleplays kinda boring.
I got a pretty big kink for the extravagant and bizarre. I do well in fantasy and sci-fi. Superheroes are fun too (I can do Marvel or DC or we can make our own!). Adaptations of literature are fun.
I like princess stories, both predictable and original. I like stories about rogues. I like stories about wizards. I love gypsies, and basically, the downtrodden and outcast.
With sci-fi, I love space travel, robots, some time-travel, dystopias, and just lots of weird scientific experiments.
I have a pretty big adoration for the Victorian era and steampunk, and love the whimsy and inventiveness behind it. Scientists and adventurers are very thrilling. This would probably be my favorite to play with. I have been on a very big Victorian romance kick, as of late.
I really enjoy historical fiction, and could do particularly well with ancient Rome or Greece (with or without their respective religious figures), or the medieval, renaissance, and Victorian eras of Europe; I could do a little less well and a bit more clumsily with anything set in the 18th century, ancient Egypt, or ancient Japan. I'd be up to doing any era straight or with fantastical or sci-fi aspects to them.
Fairy tales are always fun to adapt, as would be Baum's world of Oz, Carroll's Wonderland, Barrie's Neverland, something set in a Lovecraftian world, etc. If you have an idea for an adaptation roleplay, just ask me if I know it.
I love it when things are put in a new light.
I don't have a gender preference in a companion or in what I play. I can play lotsa characters.
My biggest kink is tension and build up. I enjoy the tease and the cerebral quality to what happens before the touching.
I am down for both sexual and nonsexual roleplays. We can do quickies or long-term. I am usually able to write in bursts throughout one day, but I'll do my best to get at least one response to you a day. We can do AIM, a thread, or PM. I am most active usually between 6PM and 4AM Pacific Time, but I am erratic in my sleep and habits, so no promises. The more I'm enjoying an RP, the more I will dedicate myself to it.

The I-Can'ts:
- Pedophilia or most sexual stuff associated with children a la infantilism (16 and up is comfortable. Anything set past 1910 I'd want to do 18 or over)
- Painful rapes
- Bestiality with true animals (depending on the fantasy, and the level of anthropomorphism in an animal, I might be okay with it, and also for some reason I have little problem with tentacle porn/rape)
- Incest with close family (step-family is okay, cousins in historical or fantasy oriented stuff is okay because it just seems to be the thing then)
- I can't handle someone with fatherly or motherly feelings towards someone ending up in a sexual relationship with them, to further the above
I can, by the way, handle these things in a story and have no problem writing or talking about them, but not if they are put in a positive sexual light as it makes me feel the most uncomfortable ever.
Also, for my own enjoyment, I would like to stay away from anal (I'm sorry! For some reason I only seem to enjoy reading it when it's two men).
