Modern cities were still strange for Tarif, but he knew his way around and how to work things. Nothing was ever too hard for him to figure out and maybe that was an advantage of his kind. How he missed his youth though, even though most who laid their eyes on him would think he was crazy for such thoughts. True he looked like he was only around twenty years old, but his age stretched back further than most modern languages. Actually problem back before most written text. The only thing he owned from those times hung around his next.

However it wasn't something Tarif was proud of, more like detested it, hated it with every fiber of his being. The silver necklace held a round pendant that laid against his chest. With the circle was his full name in Arabic calligraphy and made out of gold. To make matters worst, he was a dull piece of jewelry at that since he was use to gems and diamonds and the finest silks. Instead a piece of silver was his until the wrong person came along. But don't get him wrong, he loves who and what he was, but to think that this piece of jewelry could forever bind him to someone was a horrible thought.

Tarif was fine nowadays since no one alive knew his kind existed, that they actually walked the earth. The odds were slim and no reason for him to worry about it. So for now he would just relax and enjoy his freedom and limitless power. With that in mind, he took a seat on a bench to enjoy the people walking here and there. How odd it looked to see them working towards nothing. He rose his hand towards his mouth where a ice cream cone appeared within it. Vanilla ice cream on a chocolate cone with sprinkles and chocolate syrup on it.

Tarif loved the new foods though and that was for sure. There he sat while making sure not to spill any of his food onto the black silk button up shirt he wore matching the black jeans and tennis he wore. He figured all black was the best way not to stand out in this world. Not thinking that eating ice cream while sitting on a bench in the middle of winter was an odd sight. The cold didn't bother him like that, especially when he could set himself on fire or even change the course of the weather if the all white annoyed him.

Mandy was making her way out of her house, bundled up in a semi-thick coat,a scarf, mittens, and boots. She shivered as she was welcomed with a cold breeze that chilled her to the bone, even with her warm clothing on.As she descended her porch stairs carefully, aware of the ice that had formed over night, and then made her way down the sidewalk, spotting a couple kids in their yard building a snowman, but other then that there wasn't many people out and about. She didn't blame them with this cold weather. No one could enjoy being out here, and yet here she was.

Soon heading towards the park not far from her house, she raised her head to gaze at the snow covered town, and when she was about to lower her gaze once more she managed to spot a man, seated on a bench. At first she thought nothing of it,until she looked closer and saw he was barley wearing clothes suitable for the cold weather, and not only that but he was eating ice cream. She was sorta curious, but then thought maybe he was just insane. But with her attention being on the boy she failed to notice the patch of ice ahead of her,and once her foot came in contact with the slick surface, her feet slipped out from underneath her and she found herself falling backwards, and barley managed to catch herself before her head would have hit the concrete. And then noticing the pain in her wrist, she grimaced and craddled it,guessing she must have sprained it.

Tarif slouches down in his seat while extending his feet out in front of him. His legs were crossed at the ankle as he just enjoyed the pure white that the snow brought. It reminded him of the sands back home, but of course without the intense heat. And then there was the fact it was falling in his face which he didn't like, but it could have always been a sand storm. He much prefer this over that and he didn't think he would be changing his mind. This century or the next.

The clear and serene view soon was interrupted when Tarif heard someone crunching the snow under their steps. He was halfway through his ice cream when he noticed the figure heavily bundled up within her warm shell. A smile came to his features when he got the urge to mess with her. Sadly god or faith bet him to it, watching as her footing gave out underneath her. He could have helped or prevented it, but that would have exposed him. Plus he was still enjoying his ice cream and he didn't feel like rushing through it. Brain freezes bother the immortal as well.

After popping the last piece into his mouth. Tarif rose from his position and made across the snow until he came to the side of the person. "You okay Ms?" He found himself asking as he kneels down beside her and looked over her form. If she got up too fast she could only serve to injury herself even more.

Mandy was still cradling her hurt wrist when she heard someone speak, and looked up to see the man whom had been on the bench. She nodded her head briskly and cleared her throat as she used her other hand to push herself off the ground, and stand back upright."Uh...yeah.I-i think so." she stammered out as she looked back down to her wrist and grimaced in pain."I think I sprained my wrist." she muttered softly with a frown. She was still amused, and curious to why he wasen't dressed for the weather, and how the cold air didn't seem to bother him at all.Glancing back to the ground she licked her dry lips and brushed her hair out of her face with her good hand. She just hoped this was a sprain after all,and that it wasn't in fact worse. She didn't want to have to go to a hospital.

Tarif was glad to see there weren't any bones poking out of her flesh, that was a relief in itself. He wasn't that worried until he realize that the person was actually a female, a cute one at that. It wasn't exactly the perfect time to be hitting on girls nor the perfect situation seeing that she just fell and hurt herself. For her sake he was able to keep his composure and merely smile at her. "At least thats all you have wrong." He said like it was nothing. For him it may just be that since he could always heal it anytime he wanted.

Sadly for him to do that for her would leave him exposed and questions would surely begin to fly. Tarif looked her over to make sure she didn't have anything else wrong with her, merely just glancing at her. He should have looked underneath her hood but he didn't know the first thing about first aid. "Come sit down and relax." He told her while motioning over to the bench he had just left. He would hold onto her to make sure she was balanced and to ensure she didn't fall a second time. "Why are you out in such weather anyway?" He asked her since it made no sense to him.

It shouldn't though since he didn't know anything about her. Maybe she just liked the cold and was enjoying herself. Tarif personally preferred nice sandy beaches and if it wasn't for the fact he wanted to cool down for a bit, he would have went right back there.

Mandy looked back up to him,and only then took the time to really 'look' at him.Her lips parted as she ran her gaze over his flawless body, his perfect face..she had to look away before she began to drool over him.She muttered something under her breathe and shuffled her feet nervously. When she saw him motion to the bench and speak she nodded briskly, with a sheepish smile."Oh,I came out here to clear my head..." she mumbled distractedly as a answer to his question and then turned her attention to the bench, but suddenly thought of her own question."Can I ask why you are out here? You obviously aren't dressed for this weather." she mumbled, with her head ducked."Aren't you cold?" she added.Simply curious about the strange man.

Those eyes of Tarif had not noticed the reaction she got from looking at him. He was oddly enough concerned for her wounds which didn't at all seem good. Seeing that they weren't that much of a hindrance, he decided to let them be and not worry about them. "Now what could be so heavily on your thoughts?" He asked with a single brow raising since he couldn't imagine something weighing down her thoughts and dragging down her mood. He was about to take her to the bench when she stopped to ask him such a question. It wasn't until she asked did he notice he was without a coat in such weather and he couldn't tell her the truth.

How could he say he had just come from Miami and left because of the rain? He was passing through her city when he noticed the snow and realized he hadn't seen the stuff in years. Decades actually, which was another reason he couldn't tell her. "I'm from the south and I haven't seen snow in years. Sadly I don't even own a coat." He explained to her, mixing lies with truth and omitting what couldn't be twisted without questions. "I was a minute ago. Now I'm getting a bit hot." He said with a charming smile coming to his features and playful winking to her so she knew what he was talking about.

"You really should sit down. You could be light headed or something." Tarif said though he didn't know for sure how the human body worked. It wasn't like someone ever stabbed him, well they have but he had never been wounded. He also had never been bound to someone he generally liked and wish to help to prevent their death. He treasured his freedom far too much for something like that. There were times he wished for an owner that was interesting, but he wouldn't get his hopes up.

Mandy raised her head to hear what he had to say,and then frowned once more."So...you left your home,to come here and see snow, and forgot to even bring a coat?" she asked in amusement. It sounded made up to her,but she could care less. She was actually just enjoying the mans presence.
"Hot..?" she mumbled in complete confusion, but then trailed off suddenly and blushed, ducking her head with a small giggle. Nodding her head she shuffled to the Bench and sat down on the wodden surface, and pulled her glove off of her hurt wrist to inspect it.Grimacing when she spotted the large bruises that where forming on it.Maybe it wasn't sprained. She pulled her glove back on,and decided she could go to the hospital later if it the pain didn't cease. For now she wanted to spend her time with this mysterious man.She smiled up to him faintly and shivered as a sudden gust of wind blew at them.

Tarif could tell it was colder her than anywhere else, but for some reason he was able to bear it. Maybe because he was keeping his body temperature up so not to freeze. He wasn't immune to the weather but when you were born with unlimited powers, you kind of found ways around some things. "Oh no, I brought a coat....no actually I didn't." He said with a laugh deciding it made no sense to lie, especially since it served no purpose. Walking over towards the bench he realized she needed some kind of help, so when he noticed she wasn't looking he would tap into his powers. He wouldn't heal her but he would learn the knowledge he needed to aid her a bit.

Tarif knew he couldn't go acting like a known doctor out of the blue, that could make things worst for her. Upon seeing her bruised wrist, a smile came to his face as he reaches out to take her hand. Stopping her from putting her glove back on. "You suppose to put ice on that. Well you're surrounded by the stuff." He reminded her as he reaches down with his bare hand to grab some snow, some of it starting to melt within his warm grasp. He quickly placed it against her bruised rest hoping the cold flakes could help her out. "But maybe you should find somewhere warmer. It would suck if you caught a cold." He told her which was true.

Coming outside to clear your mind only to end up getting sick would be a major pain. Something Tarif didn't care to see such a pretty girl go through. "I mean, I may be helping you out. But I ain't gonna sit by your bedside and nurse you back to health." He said with a bit of a chuckle.

Mandy laughed softly when he seemed to decide to be honest with her."Well....that was kind of un-smart. It's freezing here during winter." she mumbled softly, and suddenly fell quite as he approached the bench and stayed silent as he scooped up the snow and placed it to her wrist. She yelped softly and pulled her hand back."Maybe you,re right. If I stay out here with a chunk of snow on my bare hand I'll probably just end up getting frost bite." she mumbled as she gently wiped her hand free of snow and pulled her glove back on before he could object. She stood up with a sigh and ducked her head as she wrapped her arms around herself, making sure not to touch her hurt wrist.Hearing his last words she just shook her head with a small laugh."I should probably get home then...." she murmured as she glanced up to his face, keeping her gaze there for just a moment too long before she pursed her lips together and ducked around him, once more walking at an old lady pace so as not to fall.

Tarif laughed with a nod of his head. He knew it was dumb and there was little he could do to change that fact. He found himself laughing still at the sound of her yelp, like she was some kind of animal. He raised a brow at what she said only to look a bit shocked and confused. "Hey, you suppose to be ice on a bruise..." However he began to seem unsure about that, something that could be heard in his voice. "Right?" He asked with a raised brow since he wasn't too sure himself.

Tarif held back the urge to laugh at how fast she moved her hand away from him. At the same time he was glad she hadn't noticed how warm his skin was, but they didn't touch for too long so it was okay. Hearing the words she said was abit of a let down, but seeing that it was freezing out here he could understand. Seeing her raise to her feet, he did the same. Odd since they had just sat down, but he wouldn't bring that up. He looked to her when he heard she was going to leave only to ask. "Mind if I walk you? I don't want you to fall again." He asked as he began to walk with her, though if she told him no he wasn't sure what he would do.

She was interesting to him and he wanted to talk to her a bit more instead of just leaving and parting ways. It wasn't like he lived in the area or had a phone number, was that even what they called it, so he wasn't sure when he'd meet her again.

OOC: Sorry about the wait. I had to make lunch and wash dishes. Not to mention the phone.

She looked at him with a questioning look when he said that."Uhm...yeah.Ice helps the swelling go down,or prevents it.But it's freezing out here.I'll put some ice on it once I'm home." she mumbled, looking down to her wrist at the mention of it.

When he got up and walked along side her,she shook her head with a small grin on her face."Sure.I'd like that." she murmured blushing slightly.Though you probably couldn't tell since her cheeks where already flushed from the cold weather. And she wasn't going to admit it,but she was thrilled that he seemed to be interested in her.Or he just felt bad for her, cause she was a clumsy fool.Either way,she was happy. She bit at her lower lip and lowered her gaze to the ground, picking up her pace slightly, seeing that the sidewalks where clear up ahead.

Tarif raised a brow as he listened to her. He noticed she mumbled a lot and also looked away from him. Something he thought was odd. He wasn't that full of himself, but he knew he was attractive, so it was strange that she kept her eyes from him. "Good, cause the snow was starting to get boring." He confessed as he walked beside her with his hands stuck into his pocket. He normally didn't walk anywhere, well he did it just wasn't far. But to actually walk all the way back to her house was something he hadn't done in centuries. Why bother with it when he could bewitch a bench to run like a horse or cause a carpet to float.

"You live by yourself or do I have to compete for your attention?" He asked her only to feel the wind blowing his hair against his face. He runs his fingers through his black mane to get as much of it as he could out of his vision. He stayed close to her so he could catch her if she fell again while hoping if that did happen, she wouldn't take him down with her. "I mean, you don't have a boyfriend do you?" He asked only to add. "Nevermind, I'll still hit on you." He said with a bit of a laugh which was the truth. She could be married for all he cares and he'd still continue to flirt with her.

Actually he think he'd do it in front of the man or woman since he didn't know that much about her. He glanced up to be relieved when he noticed the path was cleared and thought if he had the chance, he'd make it stay that way until they got to where they were going.

She smiled faintly as she kept her gaze on the sidewalk, spotting her street up ahead, along with her house on the corner of it.She was still looking out for ice patches, even though she could tell the sidewalk was clear.
But when he began to speak once more, she felt her cheeks turn a bright red,and she warily looked up to him with a sheepish smile."I'm single." she said with a soft giggle. She wasn't single often,in fact she had recently broke up with a long-time boyfriend when she happened to find out he was cheating on her.Just the thought of him made her frown.

She paused and looked back ways before she started to cross the street, and soon found herself outside her house. She looked over to him and smiled faintly."Uh...would you want to come in for a while?" she asked. Her eyes hopeful, not wanting to depart with him just yet. After knowing he was interested in her she was about to explode in joy.

A smile came to his face to, the sight of one on her face was almost infectious. He couldn't help but return one to her. He made sure the walk was safe and hazard free, he didn't need her getting any more serious injured than what she already had. He looked to her with a pleased and interested gaze when he heard she was single, even though she didn't say anything about whether she lived alone or not. "Thats good to hear. So I can have you all to myself." He said with a smile only to realize they came to stand before her door.

He felt bad and almost wished they could walk around a bit more since he was having so much fun with her already. He didn't want to seem like a pest, but it seemed that wasn't the case when she offered him to come inside. He looked away with his hand on his chin, pretending like he had to do some serious thinking about whether that pleased him or not. But soon a wide smile came to form on his face as he returned his gaze to her. "I would love to." He said and that was the truth. "I'm dying to see what you have hidden under that coat." He told her only to add. "And I wanna see if those red cheeks are my doing or the weather."

He couldn't help but tease her, it was just too fun as far as he was concerned. He paused for a minute as he waited for her to open the door only to add. "If I'm lucky, maybe I can get an offer to spend the night." He said with a bit of a chuckle, but don't let that mislead you. He was dead serious about that.

Mandy realized how straight-forward he was.And every comment he made simply made her blush farther.when she waited for his reply, she took the time to gaze at his face once more, and smiled once she saw the smile he had on his face. She wasn't sure what was wrong with her. She'd never in a million years ask a stranger into her house. She had only known this guy for 10 minutes for crying out loud! "My red cheeks are your doing." she admitted with a soft giggle as she grabbed the handle to her door and pushed it open, glancing over to him with one of her eyebrows raised in amusement."Now thats a bit much to ask for." she murmured with a chuckle as she stepped inside and held the door open for him.She waited until he was inside before shutting the door and shivering from the sudden warmth that enveloped her.She then got busy removing her gloves, boots, scarf, and thick coat.Leaving her in a tight fitting long sleeve shirt and the pair of sweat pants she had been wearing before.Only then realizing her butt was wet from when she had fell.

A broad smile came to his face at that realization, but he was glad she told him. "Good, because you look cute when you blush." He told her before moving into her house where he returned his body temperature to normal to make sure he didn't over heat. He turned towards her with a raised brow when he heard what she said next only to laugh a bit at that. "Well I wasn't asking, but I was just hoping you would." He clarified for her as he moved a bit further into the house only to pause and look back to her. "Or you think a man shouldn't hope for something like that?" He asked with with a bit of curiosity on clearly shown on his face, since that was how things came off.

Tarif chuckled a bit as he moved towards the living room only to retrace his movement back to her since he didn't want to lose sight of her. "You got a nice little home here." He told her with an assuring nod of his head only to watch her remove her coat and spot the wet spot on her ass. "I'm guess you're wet pants aren't because of me to?" He asked with a smile on his face only to laugh a bit at how stupid that was. He waves his hand like he was swatting that topic out the air only to go on and say. "But I don't understand why a woman as gorgeous as you live alone and allowed a stranger to remain come into her house." He said with a shrug of his shoulders only to add. "Unless you must really like me." He teased with an added chuckle.

He then realized how that could come off and rose his hands to motion them back and forth. "But I swear to you that I'm no harm. I can't say I'ma good boy, because I think we both doubt that. But I wont hurt you, I promise." He told her truthfully.

She watched him silently as she hung her coat up and sighed softly,"I'm sure many men hope to stay overnight at a girls house.I've just never met a man who actually says so aloud." she explained with a small laugh as she turned to stare at him,and blushed as she glanced to her wet pants."Thats from falling." she said with a sheepish smile as she then looked down to her wrist, just then seeming to remember it.She walked past him towards her kitchen to get a ice pack when she heard his next question."I haven't been living alone very long.Just for the last week, but thats a good question.I have no clue why I let you into my house." she mumbled with a snicker."Maybe because you,re nice? Plus, you,re not too shabby looking." she murmured softly with a slight blush as she reached into her freezer and grabbed a bag of frozen peas, and placed them on her throbbing wrist. She looked over to him and smiled."I'm not afraid of you hurting me." she assured him.

Tarif looked at her as she spoke. He liked the sound of her voice. He smiles some until she finished saying what was on her mind only to shake his head at what was said. "Nope." He began only to step a bit towards her. "I normally don't care to spend the night at most women homes." He told her only to add. "But for some reason, I want to spend the night with you." He straighten out for her only to lean against the wall some as he wondered what she thought about that. Hearing her mention respond to the wet spot, he laughed some and nods his head.

"I can hope can't I?" He asked with a charming smile on his face only to let his eyes follow her as she went into the kitchen. He walked behind her, like he couldn't bare have her from his sight for too long. He came to stand by the counter while listening to her which brought wicked grin to his face now that she realized what he said. He found himself laughing at the sound of her snickering, she looked cute when she did it at that. At least she realized it wasn't a smart move to allow a stranger in her house without knowing them. He was glad to know he wasn't the only one to make mistakes.

A brow shot up when she said she wasn't afraid of him. "Oh really?" He asked with a smiles stretching his features. He moved across the kitchen to come and stand directly in front of her. His hands holding onto the counter on either side so she was trapped before him. "You sure?" He asked as he looks down to her, he stood a good six foot even.

OOC: My deepest apologizes for the wait. I had to cook and eat dinner.

Mandy looked back to him when he said he wanted to spend the night with her,and blushed a scarlet red as she looked down to the bag of peas on her wrist, not knowing how to reply to that besides looking embarassed. When he followed after her into the kitchen she smiled slightly and started to wonder if she had been stupid to let him in her house.Of course she had been stupid to let him in...but she was wondering now if he was in fact dangerous. He could be some murderer for all she knew.

She looked up when he spoke and watched warily as he smiled and made his way towards her.And when he placed his hands on the counter behind her she took a slight step back and pursed her lips.He looked very tall at this angle to her.She was merely 5'4".She shook her head after a moment and smiled."Not really... " she murmured as she felt herself take a step closer to where she was inches away from him.

Tarif looked down at her with a smile on his face. It was almost like he could see her second guessing herself. He was just lucky she didn't or at least don't start swinging, kicking, and screaming at him. He wasn't interested in something like that, even though he wasn't any real threat. The cops would never catch him and his finger prints didn't exist in any country. The most they get is maybe a close match from facial recognition.

And as for blood? He never actually seen his own blood, so he doubted that strongly. The thought was enough to make him laugh some. His attention was brought back to focus on her as something odd happened. She had stepped away at first but now she was moving closer towards him which he hadn't expected. This threw him off guard some, but not by much. He decided to test and tease her a bit if she wanted to play things that way.

Lifting his right hand, he placed it against her cheek to allow his thumb to caress her flesh a bit. "I'd only hurt you..." He began only to lean down with his lips inches from her own. "If you got off on it." He finished with a whisper into her ear.

OOC: I got it! He could bite her somewhere and cause her to draw blood. She could touch wound to discover she was bleeding and smack him in the chest. Bloods gets on the necklace, blam!...if you like that idea.

OOC-Sounds good to me! ^^

Mandy watched him warily as he stayed silent for a long time, and when he placed his hand against her cheek, rubbing her soft skin with his thumb she shivered almost violently and seemed to lean back ever so slightly when he moved his face closer to hers,to where if she moved an inch or so she would be able to have her lips against his.She actually thought about it for a moment and then simply shivered once more at his words.

She wasn't sure what to do_One part of her...actually wanted him and the other was screaming that he seemed dangerous and she should stay the hell away from him. Then again,he already knew where she lived. If she kicked him out he could come and kill her over night or something. She ducked her head and felt her cheeks warm up.

Tarif was interested in her, but he never thought it would bare such rite fruit. She was far more entertaining than he had originally thought she would be. This was something to him. He didn't see her shiver, but he could feel it from how close he was to her. She had just open the gate for him as a fiendish smirk could come to rest on his lips. She hadn't said a single word to him once he moved close to her.

This made him wonder what was going through her mind and just type of reaction her body would give him. This could very well be the reason his kind was often depicted as being evil or mischievous spirits, but could they be blamed. "That was the perfect reaction." He whispered into her ear before placing a tender kiss just underneath of it, then another on her cheek. And finally his lips had found hers, taking a gently kiss from them at first to measure out things. He wasn't about to stick his tongue down her throat and risk her biting it. But he would test the waters and see if her body would respond a bit more to him.

He didn't care about pulling her out of her shell, he wanted to dive into it with her and open her up from the inside.

She looked up to him as he spoke once more, and then kissed below her ear,her cheek, and then her lips. She blushed even farther as she warily moved even closer to the strange man,and wrapped her good arm around his waist loosely and looked up into his eyes for a long moment. After a silent debate in her head, she leaned up on her tip-toes and pressed her soft lips against his.She was fucking scared to death inside right this very moment. She barley knew this man,and yet she had let him into her house just from his help and all the flirting he had done. And now she was kissing him! Even with her freaking out in her mind, she leaned her small body against his own and tightened her arm around his waist.

Even as they kissed he could tell she was unsure and wondering how to respond. It was a given since they didn't even know each others name, but here he was in her kitchen making out with her. But soon it seemed she got over that minor detail as she pressed herself against his form and he was more than willing to hold her to him. His other arm slide around her waist, but it wouldn't stay there for long. His hand would move down to squeeze that wet rear of hers to lift her up and sit her on the counter. This way he didn't have to lean down so much and allow him free access to her lips.

To be truthful, he liked the way they tasted and felt. He enjoyed the feel of his body against hers which only planted thoughts of more than just this. But he knew he had to play it smooth or he run the chance of pushing her away. He couldn't seem too eager and in a hurry to take things further and would just allow himself to enjoy the feel of her lips. He continued with the kiss turning it from something light to a bit more passionate. Something that didn't seem to last as long as he thought it would, but only because of him.

A grin formed on his lips as he decided to test her and see just what she was into. He wasn't into a lot of pain, but he had to see just what she would allow him to get away from. With that in mind he would start to pull back from the kiss only to capture her bottom lip to suck it gently. That was to further lower her guard so he bite it some. He didn't know if he had used too much force since it had been a while since he actually bite a mortal. So he wasn't sure about her pain threshold, but he knew it wasn't enough to rip her lip off.

He pulled back to look at her with the most wicked smile on his face.
