The story starts off with a brother and sister. The sister comes home with a very tacky dress she got at a thrift store. After a lot of persistence and bugging she get's the brother to try it on for fun. What surprises both of them is that the dress magically transforms the brother into a female. What's more, everyone else in their life seems to think the brother has always been a girl. The sister now helps her new sister cope, in many creative ways.
