History:Both grew up in District 7. Their younger years they studied and stayed in school. As they got older they began to help out with the work in the district as punishment for getting tattoos on their arms. They both began work at the age of 15. The man who gave them their tattoos was executed and the twins were forced to watch because the Capitol thought it would teach them a lesson. Much like Katniss Everdeen from District 12 the twins are very rebellious and one day hope that they can be part of the fall of the Capitol. Their whole lives they've been inseparable and every time there's a reaping the two hope and pray neither one of them gets called. One could not live without the other and that's how it's always been and always will be.

Though it is not encouraged, she was trained by her father in their attic on how to throw knives and fight for her life. Especially after losing her eldest brother in the games when she was only 7. (He was 12) It is rumored that she is the child of her mother and the head peacekeeper in town, it's one of the reasons her 'training' goes unnoticed, though being in District 2 it isn't really a problem. She was raised to believe that she could do anything and although typically volunteers are taken, the people are starting to wise up and allow fate to run it's course. Well besides the idiots that have death wishes and STILL volunteer.

Much to her dismay as they'd had a pact to make sure they wouldn't have to end up each other's enemies. He broke the pact, they went to the Games together. In the end it came down to the pair of them. Her knife was in his chest and his in her throat. He'd bled out first and she'd become the victor. The scars had all been erased and most of the damage healed. Her vocal chords were ruined by the injury though. Her voice barely more than a whisper, rasps and croaks. Coming home, she experienced the sentiment in quite a few people that she shouldn't have been that year's victor. Simultaneously she faced the manipulation and pressure from MacNimare, being whored out to keep her family safe.
Family: Daughter of Benjamin and Aurelie St. Croix. Sister to Thomas St Croix, who is happily married and has a daughter at the age of 16. Emme has been training her personally, very much aware of the odds for the family of victors.

History: As a resident in the lesser acknowledged District 10, Persephone is naturally good with animals. Her family was lucky enough to own a cow farm, that provided a majority of the steak to the Capitol, so she was able to live comfortably when she was younger. As an only child no siblings were ever lost to the Hunger Games.
Seph was known to have anti-social tendencies throughout her life and took better to her animal friends around the farm than she did other farm hands or kids her age. Such behavior both puzzled and concerned her parents, however they allowed their daughter to do as she pleased. However, there was one friend she had around the age of 15 that she attached herself to loyally, but much to her devastation, her friend was reaped and perished in the Games, leading to Seph retreating further into herself.

So with the upcoming Hunger Games, she made a decision to volunteer, being that this is her last eligible year. She is a Career in a sense, trained from a small age by her elder brother.
Her perception of the Capitol and President Snow is different from many of Panem, she is fiercely loyal to the Capitol. Her parents taught her that it was because of President Snow that they live so well. She was taught that the Capitol is great. Brainwashed, in a sense.

History: Ash was 18 when he entered the Games as a volunteer. It was the 95th Annual Hunger Games and it was held in a swamp setting. Of course, he was the Victor. It was by sheer strength and dumb luck that he became such though and many of the Careers in District 1 look down on him because of that, as the main belief is that one should die by your own hands rather than by some outside source in order for it to be a true victory. Ash won against the last standing boy who was a Tribute from District 12. He wrestled away the club the larger boy used as his weapon and then he pushed him into a pond that was stocked with alligators. The boy was torn to pieces and Ash was crowned Victor. Three years later and he replaced the District 1 Mentor. Now -much to his silent dismay- is beloved sister is one of the 6 Tributes of District one.

History:Ben was born to a poor family with little to no money. It was up to his father to provide for them but when he was caught breaking into store. Ben was left alone with his mother, who was weak and has no means to get money herself. at the age of 10 ben was able to work in engineering and had talent for it able to make things out of scrap and junk to give it a propose. By 17 he was able to build many things for his family and was the talk of his district as someone who could win the hunger games when got towards the capital and sure enough Ben was chosen the very next year when high expectations for him to win.
Family: His father Benjamin Russell Sr. is still in jail while his mother, Elizabeth Russell passed away while he was 16. She was sick and weak for most of his life so he understood that she was going to live very long.

Pets would end up dead, fires would be started, and the mysterious drowning of his younger brother Storm left the family rattled. Some suspicions of River floated around the family. He was different than other children. He took a particular glee from watching the Hunger Games, enough so that even his loyalist mother grew disturbed. His father, however, encouraged the behavior, knowing that it would make him a success in the Games. He was trained as a Career, and this year, his second to last year of eligibility he volunteers as the final Tributw from District 2. River is not a Capitol loyalist like his parents. Rather, he is something of a rogue. He joins the Hunger Games not for the honor, but for the killing.

Worst Memory(ies): His father denying him the chance to volunteer on his first year of eligibility in the Games when he was 12.
