Fuse. It was brand new, not to mention the hottest, dance club in the heart of the city. People had been pining to get in or even just be at the back of the guest-list since the word of its possible open. It was enveloped in state of the art flashing light shows, appearances from the most well-known DJs, and had the upscale exclusivity that could make anybody feel like royalty.

A minute past midnight the lengthy ebony limousine pulled right up to the curb, the driver parked and hurriedly exited to round the car and open the side door for the VIPs to exit. A few tanned blondes and brunettes popped out from the luxury vehicle before a pair of long ivory legs slipped out. The contrast between the black paint and milky skin was shockingly beautiful. Sparkly gold peep-toe heels clicked lightly as they made contact with the pavement, the sound muffled slightly as she was escorted up the red carpet by a handsome early thirties man. More than likely, it was her new boyfriend. The handsome gentleman lent her his arm; slender manicured digits wrapping themselves around his muscled limb as he led her to the door. Him in his tuxedo and her in her dark amethyst colored party dress, they looked like they should have had their own piece in a gossip magazine. Her dress was short, but not too short. Long enough to maintain her class, but short enough to come a few inches above her knee and show off her mile-long legs. The strapless top fit snug to her hour-glass figure while also revealing the freckles on her shoulders and arms.

There was no velvet rope for Alexandria tonight, not even a need to pause to look at the line. She wasn't just on the list, she basically was the list. It was her twenty-first birthday and all of her new college friends had no problem throwing her an expensive party to celebrate. After all, this was college; breathing was a reason to celebrate and most of her friends all had more money than they knew what to do with. Aside from the fact that birthdays were a reason to 'throw down' and they definitely planned to.

University life had been kind to Lexi. There was no college-twenty pounds to lose or many cares in the world now that she had moved. It felt good to be stress free and not feel like she had to look over her shoulder all the time. Unlike her previous life, college was a breeze and she was living it up as much as she could. You only turn twenty-one once, right? The blacked-out entry doors opened for the pair as they neared. The sporadic rays of color peering out of the dark as they flashed about to the pulse of the music in the venue. The dance floor was packed and the long bars on either side of it were just as occupied. Sure, they were fashionably late, but the first stop was not the bar. Lexi already had a buzz herself, so she was more than glad to have the guidance of Trevor's arm as he led her upstairs to their large VIP area where the rest of the members from the limo party awaited her with a round of shots.

The girls lounged about on the white leather furniture whilst a waitress had begun pouring glasses of champagne into the flutes that had been awaiting to be filled via bottle service. Meanwhile, another serving girl had personally passed out shot glasses brimmed with pink liquid to each individual and then came around to give out a second round of a purple toned shooter. Lexi and Trevor had taken their place as the center of attention in the midst of the toasting celebration. They had their own love seat that was made of a plush crimson material. All of the furniture was modern and slick. Easy to maintain and clean up, but clearly expensive nonetheless. Each drink, whether a shooter or a sip of champagne, was preconceived by a toast from numerous members of the party. The numerous "To Lexi and her 21st birthday!" toasts and the "hope you get laid!" and "lets get drunk!"-based toasts got old rather quickly. After two rounds of shots and a glass of champagne on top of the buzz Alex already had.. Well, she was becoming intoxicated rather quickly. It may have been Lexi's night, but girls would be girls and as soon as the toasting was over the girls couldn't help themselves, they had to go dance. Trevor stayed behind to prepare some special arrangements for the VIP area and no doubt a surprise for his beautiful girlfriend.

Moments later, the girls weren't even just on the floor, they were on the stage where the DJ was spinning his beats. Auburn locks were bouncing playfully about her high-cheek boned visage as she switched and swayed to the music. Occasionally she would entwine with one of her girlfriends and they would grind together conspicuously. Who really knew whether the dancing was meant to be sexual or not, but with how wild she'd become in her past year of freedom, it was believable. Alexandria was close to the point where her vision was hazy, her sapphire hues were having a hard time focusing, so they would keep themselves closed while her her hands swayed above her head mirroring her hips as they switched back and forth.

It had been about a year since she had left him, a little bit more then a year really. The end of the semester, finals complete and nothing to do but relax and have some fun. There had been a party that night, Dominic had wanted them to go to a party that some friends of his were throwing to celebrate the end of the semester, passing grades all around so the booze would abound... at least that was what the posters put up to advertise this party had said.

But Alexandria, Alex to Dominic, had said she wasn't feeling well. He had of course encouraged her to go, telling her that she would have fun and that he didn't want to go to this party without his beautiful girlfriend on his arm... but she had claimed that she was experiencing some horrible cramps and Dominic, not wanting to be too late, had relented. On his way out the door though he had given her a look that just screamed that this wasn't over yet, that they would talk more about it when he got home.

At the party he drank a little too much, ended up crashing on the couch and didn't make it home until early afternoon the next day... only to find that she was gone, a good amount of her clothing packed up and some suitcases missing. Of course she had threatened to leave before, even started too but never made it very far... she could rant and rave all she liked but at the end of the day Dominic knew that Alex belonged to him, that on some primal level she needed him... so he had settled in and waited for her to return to their apartment and to what would be a well earned punishment.

It was a few days before he realized she wasn't going to be coming back... and so he knew he would have to find her. His trust fund made it relatively easy to hire a private investigator to track her down but really she wasn't making it easy for him, cell phone gone, social media gone , she didn't get in touch with any of her old friends... it took more then six months before she was found and by then Dominic was in the middle of classes... but the moment that semester ended he knew that he would be finding her. He transferred to the school she was now at, it only took a few phone calls to get it all done and before long had set himself up in a nice apartment just off campus, similar to the apartment that he had shared with Alex he even took the time to make sure the things she had left behind were in their proper place... after all she would be moving back in before long and it would just save some time.

A few days spent settling in and then he knew it was just the right moment to make his move. He had seen a flyer advertising Alex's twenty first birthday party... it was the perfect chance for him return to her life again. Drinks would flow, she would likely be drunk by the time that he arrived, and it would make it easier to control her, easier to manipulate her.

So he took his time, ensure that he picked out the perfect gift for the devoted boyfriend to bring to the party, taking time to shower and dress, standing before the mirror he made sure to examine every aspect of his appearance to the most detailed level possible. His hair was perfectly styled and the suit he wore fit magnificently, something he had picked up for the inevitable law school entrance interviews he would need to attend in the next year.

He arrived at the party in time to see the limo pull up and for his Alex to get out with some other guy, his teeth clenched and his hands balled into fists, he didn't know who this guy was but he knew that he wanted to hurt him... and he was going to hurt her as well.

Like so many of the others attending the party or just going to the club for a night out Dominic slipped in without anyone giving him a second glance, slipping the gift that he had gotten for her onto the table where other people seemed to be leaving what they had gotten her, settling up to the bar and watching her dance for a while, curious about what had happened to her during the year apart... the Alex that he had known wouldn't have been grinding against other women in public.

This gave him the opening that he needed though and seeing some of the other girls break away to go get drinks he moved in behind her, let her think that he was just another person who was trying to dance with her, letting her relax, letting her have some fun. “Happy birthday Alex...” He whispered into her ear, enjoying the feel of her against him, this was where she belonged.

If there was one thing Lex had learned through her new college experiences, it was that the girls here did whatever they wanted. These girls made their own rules and if there was an angry boyfriend that had a problem with it.. Well, there wouldn't be for long. Sure, Trevor was a bonus, but these girls had taught Lex that she didn't need anyone anymore. She could do everything on her own for herself and she didn't need any help. Plus, having a stacked and hidden bank account didn't hurt either.

Doing what they did best, which was easily classified as whatever whenever, most of the girls that previously danced about her in their group had left Lex to go get another drink at the bar. A petite blonde pausing to wait on her; After all, it was her day. "Come on, Lex! We're gonna go get another round of shots!" the blonde managed to yell above the pulsing beat coming from the speakers that surrounded the dance floor. The mess of auburn locks shook slightly as she disagreed with the new plan and continued to writhe about to the music. Between the blurriness that had taken over her vision and the warmth rising from her chest that caused her body to tingle, she was completely content with staying on the dance floor.

The girls had only been gone a few moments before Alexandria had someone new to dance with. Approached from behind, she figured that it had just been Trevor coming to dance with her finally since he had been out of the picture for a few minutes now. Lex had ground up against him as his body pressed against her rear. It was an automatic response, and at the time felt right, the body pressed up against her felt very much like it was Trevor's.. or was it really that Trevor had so much of a likeness to her ex? That was why things were so comfortable with him. Clearly he wasn't Dominic, but Trevor's body type was the same, his personality was a bit different and he was a little bit older, but otherwise it wasn't hard to see all of their similarities.

Lex really knew how to pick them. It seemed that what she'd been trying to run away from for the past year had still been someone she'd longed for. Dominic, despite his behavior and abuse had been her first love and quite possibly the only love of her life. Everyone that she had dated since, she had compared to him and that would never change. She had grown so much in the past year and yet she was still holding on to too much that wasn't there anymore.

Delicate, freckled arms had found themselves wrapping back about Trevor's stand-in's neck as she continued to grind her backside against him. Everything about her behavior was all too sexual and Dominic never would've enjoyed her making this display public. He was overly protective of her and there were many things he'd thought to be tacky in public settings. Lex had never been a 'sexual' person by any means before him, but she lacked the etiquette and natural-born class that came from growing up in a wealthy family. She had not been raised the same and truly had come from lower-class, but Dominic's training had clearly been tossed out of the window now that she had a new life. She did what she pleased and as long as her friends approved nothing else mattered.

A slight tug from the side of her tiers turned into a grin as she felt the heat from his breath against her ear. The warmth causing her ivory cheeks to blush slightly and her ears to redden in return. It wasn't until she'd heard his voice that everything hazy got slightly clearer. This wasn't Trevor that she'd been all over for the past few minutes; it was Dominic. Her whole body seemed to tense and the dancing had stopped. It was amazing that as drunk as she was she could dance, but standing still was a different ball game. Her body wavered slightly and still pressed back against him for support as things started to register. Lex was trying so hard not to freak out over the situation.. too many things were flying through her mind for her to let out anything other than "Dominic.." How had he found her? She'd covered her tracks.. Disposed of the phone, left her car, no social media, no old friends, barely taken only things she needed, private bank account in a different name, paid for transactions with mostly cash, changed her last name. She'd been so careful to avoid him and yet now he was standing behind her. Those days of feeling like she didn't have to look over her shoulder anymore were gone.

The fact that she was intoxicated momently lapsed her as she tried to turn abruptly, almost causing herself to fall as her body twisted awkwardly on a stiletto heel. She'd ended up pushing against his chest for leverage to keep herself from falling. Blood-shot blue pools attempted to focus enough to stare up at him, but her vision was still just as blurry as before. She tried hard to fake her composure as her eyes strained to find more than the outline of his countenance. "What are you doing here?!" That once melodic voice sounded out sharply as she maneuvered herself on the balls of her feet to meet his ear. She was far more than pissed and trying hard not to panic, but it didn't keep her heart from racing out of her chest since the second she'd heard his voice.

This was not the right way to handle things. She knew better than that and she knew why he was really here. He'd come to retrieve her, just like he'd always threatened to if she left. Alexandria knew one day it would happen, one day he'd show up and try to get her to come back. She just never really thought it would be her twenty-first birthday of all days. In the back of her mind, she'd planned this a thousand times. He'd approach her in her home or somewhere private. He'd try and abduct her, punish her, do something terrible to her, but when it never came as soon as she'd expected she finally thought she was safe. Of all the places though, this was odd for Dominic. Sure, he loved a good party and showing Lex off on his arm, but he didn't enjoy a scene and she could make one if she had to, but this definitely wasn't how she had imagined he would come for her. "My f-friends will be back in a minute.. and all I have to do is scream bloody mur--der and the bouncers will be over here in a heart--beat so I suggest you choose your words and actions wisely." It was brave, but also a terrible idea for Lex to threaten him... She knew what he was capable of and though her hiccups throughout the threat didn't make it as harsh as she'd wished it had this was more of a fight than she'd ever put up previously with him.

It hadn't been easy but Dominic had put a lot of work into Alexandria, ensuring that she knew how to move in the circles that his family was used to, ensuring that she was always dressed impeccably, that what little makeup she needed was used to highlight her natural beauty rather then just smeared at random like so many seemed to do, to ensure that out in public she was perfectly well behaved until he wanted her to stop behaving... in public she was the perfect girlfriend for the young man who had the entire world at his feet and when they were alone she was his perfect little slut...

TO see her out in public like this, behaving like some tabloid cover whore was of course infuriating but Dominic had to admit that there was something enjoyable about it, to feel the way that she moved against him, embraced him without turning. TO see her beauty loose and wild was appealing and Dominic was looking forward to harnessing it again, to putting her back under his control and ensuring that this time she wasn't able to slip away from him. This time would be the last time that he had to track Alex down, she wouldn't be getting away from him, she wouldn't get the chance.

As she turned he smiled at her, not a gesture meant to put her at ease or to convey pleasure, though he was very pleased to have her right then and there. No, this smile was all about confidence, showing her how at ease he was, letting her know that he was in complete control, a sign to her that he had found her once and that was all that it would take. He knew she was drunk, could see how she could barely stand now that the music was no longer directing her motions, the beat having helped keep her on her feet before and now she needed to use his body.

“What do you think I am doing here?” He asked, his voice low and practically a growl against her ear as he held her close, knowing that at any moment someone might see them, maybe her friends, maybe that man she had arrived with, that thought in particular making his fingers tighten on her hips, uncaring that she might bruise... there would be a reckoning for her infidelity later on... she would need to suffer for each and every thing that she had done wrong while she had been away from him and Dominic was looking forward to it with the patience of a saint and the imagination of a sadist. “I came to find and take back what is mine... and make sure that you never try to leave again.”

He had thought about approaching her when she was alone, when she was in her house or perhaps on her way back to her dorm room after a class but that just wouldn't do. TO approach her alone might embolden her, she might try to call the police and while he would be let go as soon as a phone call or two was made it would still be a set back and the advantage of the surprise would be lost. So he was gambling, in public, she was drunk, and so much time spent teaching her not to make a scene... Dominic suspected that the training would hold.

His eyes did narrow though when she pointed out that she could scream for help, how quickly the bouncers would arrive and for a moment the pleasant demeanor seemed to flicker... the anger behind the mask showing before he regained control of himself and was smiling again, for anyone who might be watching he was just a guy enjoying a simple moment on the dance floor with a pretty young thing. “You can scream...” He said slowly. “But it won't do any good, I can probably tell all your new friends that I am just someone from back home who was surprising you on your birthday, the old man you came here with will be scared off at just the hint of how well I know you... and any security can be bribed off without even putting a dent in what I have in my wallet.”

A moments pause, mischief or something like it in his eyes when he lips brushed over the side of her neck, just the slightest contact between teeth and skin. “And I know that you don't want to scream because you missed my touch... I don't need you to admit it Alex because I know that if I were to slip my hand up your dress I would find you soaked.” Not even an educated guess, in his mind it was a fact... and she had to know he was willing to find it out right there on the dance floor.

Despite Dominic's consistent attempts to make her into 'one of his own,' she never quite was. Sure, she had the training to survive in his circle and his family had finally accepted her, but she still didn't care about petty things like designer labels and expensive cars. She couldn't have cared less. When they first met back in high school, Alex was basically a bag of bones living off of her meal plan at lunch every day. Fortunately for her, many things had changed since then. Dominic had altered her life completely in a multitude of ways. He'd purchased her a completely new wardrobe (against her will of course), paid for any other necessities, bought her a car, provided her with their apartment and completely changed her (anti-)social situation.

Alexandria's personality had even changed due to him; Now that they were apart it was far more mordant than timid. Her body wavered again as she stood in front of him. Her palms pushed against his stomach slightly to help her balance whilst the crowd continued to dance about them. The fact that Dominic had taken hold of her hips had helped her stance as well and she tried not to wince as he tightened his grip. She would stand her ground. This was typical Dom behavior; there was nothing that he couldn't have if he wanted it and money was no object either. Lex was determined for that not to be the case this time though.

Pungent words seemed to drip out from betwixt her light pink tiers as she leaned in close to his ear again, the smell of liquor trailing from her breath as she spoke.."Things aren't the same as they used to be, I'm not your property. You can't just come and claim me when I walked out on you." If he believed he could swoop in and carry her out like a father picking up his teenage daughter that snuck out to a party.. Well, he was very wrong. "You're wrong for coming here, especially today of all days." The more intense the situation became, the faster it seemed Lex was sobering up. Her sentences still had slight slurs for certain words, but her points were valid. It was evident that she wasn't keen on him being there and that she wasn't going to go easily, if at all.

Everything that Dominic said from retrieving her to her soaked panties was true, unfortunately. She couldn't deny how his body and even just his scent being close to her made her react. He'd been her first partner and in his mind he should have been her last and only. That wasn't the case though. She was no slut just sleeping around with anybody, but this was college and she'd had a few encounters since she'd left. Most of them just really drunken mistakes or a way to get a temporary fix. Nothing was ever meant to be serious and no one ever compared to Dominic. It was difficult for anyone to live up to what she'd already experienced with him. In public, they were the perfect couple.. he was affectionate, but not overly so and of course she was sociable yet reserved. Alone, it was the opposite, he was pushy and demanding and Lex was passionate about always making sure she met his needs. Things were always about Dominic's needs being met, not that Lex didn't enjoy the attention, but if he wasn't happy.. Well, she couldn't be either. It was as if it was against the rules.

Suddenly Alexandria's visage and chest flushed red, her blood pressure rising in conjunction as she digested what he'd inferred. She couldn't let him be satisfied with her reactions to such a vile statement toward her. Who did he think he was, really? Sure, he'd made her the way she was, but this was just inappropriate for the situation. She was heated and not in a blushing, embarrassed, young girl kind of way. If she didn't stand up for herself, everything would just go back to the way it was before. He'd win; he always won. It was never really worth the fight, but this was her home now. He was messing with her life again and she wasn't having it.

Her sapphire hues narrowed at him before she leaned in to his ear again. Had they been noticed, the situation almost looked intimate and not really as tense as it was. "You can do whatever you want, as long as it doesn't involve me or my life..and as for me being soaked... Well, thats because I fucked right before I got here." Her words came out so acidly, they could've peeled skin. It was transparent that she wasn't scared of him anymore. Sure, he'd hurt her hundreds of times now.. both physically and emotionally scarring, but that was the worst he could do really. There was nothing she could think of that he could really do to hurt her. Surely, he could lie to her friends, to Trevor, or even tell them the truth, but who would they believe? Some attention-seeking rich-guy from her previous life or her whom they trusted? Plus, they already knew she didn't really come from money, it was obvious. What was the worst that could happen if Dominic did say something? Sure... he was right about being able to pay off the bouncers and lie to everyone, but this hadn't changed her mind about her not wanting him around. "This is my party.. This is my home now. You're not welcome here. So, please leave." Normally gentle hands pushed downward on his wrists to force his hands off of her hips as she turned to try and leave the confrontation.

It hadn't just been about bringing Alexandria's social status up when he first met her. It was true that he had bought her the clothing that she wore, ended up getting her a used car so she wouldn't need to ride the bus every day, had even ensured that his dad called in a favor or two to ensure she ended up at the top of a scholarship list... but even if he hadn't done all that, even if he hadn't been able to then he still would have pursued her with a single minded determination. In his eyes she had been a rough gem, so much potential there if only someone would take the time to polish it... she could become anything that he wanted if only a little bit of pressure had been applied. Alexandria had represented an opportunity for Dominic to enjoy his darkest desires, to do the things that he had never even voiced before.

Dominic was many things, he was quick to anger, he was possessive, and often violently jealous... but in his own twisted way he did love Alexandria, she belonged to him, he cared for her in a way that he cared for no one else. He might have been her first... but she was the only one that had mattered to him in the least. Others were to be used and discarded without even a moments thought, the moment he was bored he would just toss them aside but he never got tired of Alexandria, never once was anything less then entirely pleased by the sounds that she made when he slammed her into a wall, the reddish tint of her skin when he had her over his lap with her ass held high, the look of shame on her face when he would make her crawl on her hands and knees for him. In public he had her behave like the classiest possible companion but in private she was his...

And Dominic was the creative sort.

It seemed that Alexandria was determined to really piss him off though, when she said that she was wet because someone had just fucked her he couldn't help but stiffen in anger, his teeth gritting as he continued to smile a little bit... the only person who would be able to tell just how pissed that he really was... Alex, was to close to see the changed but no doubt she would notice them and as she tried to turn to leave he only allowed her to turn before he stepped back against her, pressing against her again as the music shifted, the dance floor becoming more crowded as people rushed out to enjoy the latest dance jam.

“You dare?” He hissed angrily into her ear, his right hand trailing up from her hip to rest at her neck, turning her head a little bit. To an outsider this might look like just an extension of the intimate moment, as though he were turning her head so that his lips could meet hers. His left hand also moved, resting on her taunt stomach, splayed fingers pressing a little lower at the apex of her legs... all that time spent with her in the past, days and nights spent exploring her body until he knew its every inch... and with just the slightest pressure applied in just the right place... and he knew that he would be playing her body like a finely tuned instrument. The fact that they were in public, people all around them on the dance floor, did nothing to dissuade his subtle teasing. “You are lucky that I'm not dragging you out of here right now and reminding you what your place is.”

A deep breath to calm himself, moving against her, moving her body as well as though they were just dancing. “Couldn't have been all that good though, if it had been me fucking you then I would have made sure that you couldn't walk right for a week... did you tell your boyfriend how much you enjoy being treated like a filthy little slut?”

It wasn't really a stab in the dark, he knew Alex, he knew how to push her buttons, right now he was just having fun with her, letting her know that it wouldn't be easy to get away from him this time... he expected to be taking her home that night and whatever guy she had been fooling around with would be gone as quick as possible... from there it would just be a matter of integrating himself with her friends until everything was back to normal. “We know how this is going to end Alex.” He whispered to her, his voice gentle now, lips brushing over her neck. “You are going to end up opening the gifts I got you, you are going to love them, and you are going to end up leaving with me... so why not do this the easy way, stop fighting me, enjoy yourself... and if you keep your eyes open maybe you will be able to find a chance to slip away from me.”

Teasing her with that possibility, he wasn't going to give her that chance but if she wanted to try out then Dominic would have fun with it.

Dominic's obsession for Alex was unhealthy at best, but the way that her body craved him was just as morbid. There were some issues there that were more deep-seated and complicated than their physical relationship alone. Between the physical abuse and mental scarring, somewhere in there lay a twisted truth that both of them loved each other and never really figured out how to truly express it. Dominic had been too possessive and caught up with Alex being an object; something he could own. Alex had told him.. Once or twice, while he was in the midst of slumber and wouldn't wake up from her words. She didn't have the guts to tell him when he was conscious. Plus, she never really knew how Dominic would react to such things. He could be a loose cannon at times.

Prior to and throughout their relationship, Alex had always been sheepish. Especially when it came to telling Dominic how she felt about him or anything else. She would be more apt to endure extra pain to please him rather than admitting she'd reached a limit with him and that gave Dominic all the chances he needed to fulfill any desire he could satisfy. The minute she decided to start seeing him, she'd thrown any chance at leading a normal life out the door. He had laid claim to her. There was nothing she did that didn't involve or revolve around him and it came to a point where she couldn't take it anymore.

Lex let out a slight grunt as he pushed up against her rear again, keeping her encased on the dance floor as the crowd seemed to multiply. Not that her vision had cleared much, but she couldn't even see past the sea of people around her to try and catch a glimpse of Trevor or any of the girls at the bar now. She was helpless for the moment; how often she'd felt the same way when she and Dominic were still together. Lex knew how to infuriate Dominic in ways that sometimes even worked out to her advantage. At times, She'd purposely set him off if he was (rarely) in a less than eager mood and she had to have him. Other occasions, she was just trying to piss him off. With a short temper and how much time they'd spent together, it wasn't difficult and this was one of those times.

Lex wanted Dominic to be angry. She wanted him to hurt, to feel abandoned and left out of her life; to feel like she didn't need him anymore. Mainly, because it was true.. She didn't need him and despite how her body responded to his touch, she tried hard not to show it and to just play the game. Lex would be so kind as to let Dominic turn her head whilst using her neck for leverage.. even putting on a bigger facade by placing her hand over his own as if she were leaning into his palm as her visage turned slightly to face him again. A mild smirk crossed her tiers before she threw his own words back in his face, "Do I dare? Sweetheart, you always told me that it was important to take on a challenge." She'd chosen her words carefully, they were meant to sting and she hoped that they did. If there was one thing Alexandria was known for, it was her extremely vivid way of recalling the past. "You don't even know who I am or where my place is anymore and I'm sure that scares you. You've never known what it's like to want something you can't have."

This was almost starting to become a fun game now for Lex. She knew exactly what Dominic wanted, and yet for maybe the second time since they'd met she could deprive him of that. He could tease her all that he wanted, but that didn't mean he was going to win the prize. She'd allowed him to taunt her, his fingertips playing over the front of the satiny material that made up the amethyst toned dress. Sure, she'd been slightly turned on by it, but she was his match. She could read him just as well as he could read her. She had even gone as far as letting her free-hand drop down to her side, reaching back to rake her manicured nails along the inside of his thigh almost too discreetly as if it was something she'd done a million times before. "Y'know, I really, truly had been planning on telling him, but we are just way too busy most of the time. We don't talk much...So, I'd assume he already knows?" She shrugged slightly, pearly whites coming out to take hold of her lower tier as she glanced back at him again. It was currently much easier for her to focus than it had been before. It always seemed to awaken something instinctual in Dominic when she bit her lip that way.. and she was just going out of her way to do it. It was bad enough that she'd been sleeping with other people, but for her to infer that she'd done as many unspeakable things with another man? Dominic wouldn't be pleased with that.

There wouldn't be any 'no one can compare to you, I'm so glad you found me' talk with her unless she was just purposely trying to toy with him. Lex could easily recall how many times she and Dominic had danced like this.. at parties, social events. It was effortless, but less committed. The counterfeit private moment they were having made up for the lack of sincerity now. He really was starting to frustrate her now, and she had to grin and bear it to try and convince him he couldn't push her buttons even though he was. "That's how you want this to end, Dominic. Not me." She shook her head as if to disagree with him, her neck finding its way out of his grip with the shake. "I can't think of anything that you could have bought me that I would want or love.. and I can't believe after all this time that you trust you can just buy me off like I give a damn about your money." She was right. She didn't care about his gifts or his money and she was tired of feeling like he could just buy his way out of everything. It was childish and power-hungry. She wasn't going to add to his comments of escaping. Lex was far too distracted. It was as if with one kiss to the flesh of her neck he'd made every muscle remotely close to her groin contract and she could feel the blush settling back into her cheeks.

Dominic was many things, quick to anger, arrogant, and aggressive... but there was more to him then most people thought... Dominic was also smart. Oh it was more then just book smarts, he had been able to pass most classes with very little effort and a small amount of studying always got him top marks on any test, but he was cunning in an almost animal way, able to read people and figure things out quickly.

Her words angered him, of course they angered him, how could he feel anything but white hot rage at what she said... but it as if she was trying to piss him off. It wasn't anything that he could really explain or put a finger on but his instincts told him there was more to what was going on then just her trying to piss him off. Maybe it was the way that she raked her nails up along his leg like she had done so many times before, or perhaps it was that cute little way that she bit her lip... she had to know how that affected him. His thoughts took a turn in that moment, from thinking of how he would get her to his apartment, soon to be their apartment again, to how he wanted to just press her up against a wall of the club and have her right there, claim her body in public.

His thoughts taking that turn of course influenced the way he moved, pressing harder against her, letting her feel just how aroused he was. Of course he knew the influence that he had on her but he needed to let her know just how badly he wanted to drag her away from all this and fuck her until she couldn't move. Teaching her a lesson about leaving him could wait until after his needs were dealt with.

“It isn't about the money spent...” He whispered, his lips never leaving her skin as they trailed from her neck and over her jaw, uncaring that she had shaken her face loose of his grip because she wouldn't be going anywhere now. “You can deny it all you like Alex but I know you better then anyone else does, all the new friends that you have made, the guys that you have fooled around with while we were apart. No matter what has happened I know that you love me.” A small smirk, his lips brushing over hers in the mockery of a chaste and innocent kiss, knowing he still had power over her, knowing that the small and simple moments often lead to so much more.

Of course it couldn't last forever, slowly he broke off the little kiss, his eyes locked on hers as he pulled up the front of her dress just a little bit as his hand teased her thigh, moving steadily, slowly higher. “This was a mistake Alex, we both know that you won't be given a chance to run away from me ever again, I know where you live now... I am never letting you go Alex.”
