many times in history, humans have pushed the limits of what they can and cannot do, the law of man is not true. not in the eyes of god. humans, demons, and angels, they are never to meet on earth, but when a 1/2 demon, or 1/2 angel is created, they are exiled to earth, to die like the other humans, however, over the last 500 years, god has had enough of the humans, and he has decided to put an end to the human race, and re-create the planet once again. however, the laws themselves can not have angels or demons on earth, the demons however, like the chaos of earth, and will do whatever they can to keep the the earth in the state of chaos that it is in, a single demon has made its way to earth, and started a way. now, those 1/2 demons and 1/2 angels walking the earth, are starting to have there powers awaken. and they along with the demons, are the last best hope, for the human race.

She turned her deck a few more times, not believing the strong senses she was getting from them now... She dealt the cards as they moved to her hands, laying them in the celtic cross, reading them to the awed costumer... "You have had many fortunes come your way, many great deeds have been done, and a great deed is yet to be done. A man will lead the way..." she frowned as a card fell from the deck in her hand. She looked at it and put it back, going back to the prediction for the customer. After she was done thy handed her her money and beaming rejoined the couples partner and left her small shop. She looked at the card again, not liking it at all. Judgement. She set her deck on her alter and lit an incent. for the life of her she had become restless this past week, more so then usual... her dreams were more and more vivid, yet in their clarity they were just as confusing... Her cards were warning her left right and centre, even her runes were telling tales of warning. Somethign was happening. She just couldnt figure out what. She walked to the front of the store and moved to switch the sign to close, feeling drained from the constant onslaught of customers recently... it seemed the whole area was restless lately.

as she shut off her light, a man was walking through the door, his skin was hardened, his boots were steel toed, a pure working class type, that did what he needed to be done, he had gone on, for some reason he didnt even know, maybe he was just wondering what the place was "hello?" he said as he walked in, he looked around, the smell of the place seemed odd to him, and he got a very weird feeling when he came in. he saw the woman "h.. hi.. umm.. w.. what is this place?" he asked, why was he choking up? he seemed confused, he clearly didnt know why he was there. something was drawing him in

She turned around and saw the man... "Im a fortune teller, or a seer as some put it... you came here without knowing?" she asked, not sure if this was a sign, or a sign of stupidity... though she got a weird vibe from him all the same. Something about him was drawing her curiousity like a moth to a flame. She moved quickly to her table and grabbed her deck, mving her flowing sleeves in a swep to seat herself at the table. "Please, come. Sit." she said, waving a sleeved arm over the table, lighting the candle with the flick of her other hand, the match sizzling with sulfur, mixing with the incense scent. She felt her cards humming again and was sure that it was more fate then curiousity now, but only time would tell...

the man looked around as he walked in and sat at the desk "so, how dose this all work really? he asked as the candles were lit, he just watched the dancing flames, the seemed to be moving as he looked at it, tilting with his head, probably just a coincidence. he looked at the desk and the woman across from him "and.. ya.. i dont know why.. but i was wanting to know what this place was.. i pass by every day and i never really looked until now.." he said as he watched her, she was skilled, the smell of the surfer didnt bother him, it seemed.. known to him. he breathed deeply and relaxed into the seat

She noted each thing that he said and did, and a shiver went down her spine as a card slipped from her deck as she was shuffling. Devil. she looked up at the man and gave a smile. "All of this is really just for show, since most Seers nowadays are fakes... But one must keep up appearances. The incense is to bring luck and protection for spirits meaning harm, as well as it smells nice and is soothing to most. The dim lighting is for my eyes as I have sensitive eyes due to the incense being constantly burned, and the clothes are just comfortable. The cards are my gift, though i also do stones, bones, and runes. Basically this is the art of fortelling, or foreshadowing things. I use the cards to interpret what the commings of specific events are and such things. Like for instance," she drew a card and set it face up, "The Hierophant reversed means that not all is... what it seems on the surface..." she said frowning.... She drew another, " and this card, Wheel of Fortune reversed, is... a warning that things are about to get ugly, and there may be... very little for you to stop it.." she put the cards back frowning bigtime. "Im sorry, usually my cards are a little nicer to new people... i have been feeling off for days, maybe im just tired...." she said putting a hand to her head as she gathered her deck. These cards, the Devil, the heirophant, and the wheel of fortune were cards that she herself had been getting as they fell out on their own accord...

"I would suggest you watch what you are doing, be wary of strangers, and watch what is coming your way," she said before she got the one feeling she never had felt before... as if a voice was inside her....
"Something wicked this way comes, its not for you its not for me, but for all those who stand agaisnt them. Be not alarmed when the wings crash down on those of us who stand agaisnt. He shall create anew what has been defiled..."

he looked even more confused, he watched the cards fall out and was kinds freaked out when he found out what they meant, he shifted back and tilted his head. then shot up when he heard what she said to him. in that other tone "w.. what is all this? what is going on? w.. what has been happening lately? this weird feeling.. what is it?" he asked. he was so confused, he had no clue what just happened, he had never had anyone talk to him like this. the candles were going crazy, the flames almost dangerous now. the incense burnt almost instantly and turned to ash

She gave her head a shake... "Im sorry... something is going on on a big scale.. your being affected as well, it seems. I would love to know what exactly is going on, but i cant, so im stuck telling riddles i dont know the meaning of. Im in the same boat as you buddy, how do you think i feel?" she asked, getting frustrated... then she saw the flames and incense and everything and her eyes widened. "...Devil...." she whispered to herself, realizing the first card that was shown wasnt a warning, but so much more then that. It was a label.

"You need to calm down before you burn my house down, sir..." she said, using her most soothing of voices as she moved slowly towards him, trying to sooth him out of his panic before every candle in her house went wild...

he was clearly freaked out, seeing the fire he panicked even more, he closed his eyes and sat down, breathing heavily "w.. whats happening to me?" he said as he looked up at her "i.. have felt lighter, faster, stronger.. for the last few days.. i have been having weird dreams... " he said quietly, trying to calm down, he kept his eyes closed. he needed something to calm him down, something to drink or eat "do.. do you have any water?" he asked as his cell went off. he looked and answered "y.. ya?" he answered. his face went blank and he closed the phone, it dropped to the ground "speaking of burning down... m.. my house just burnt down...." he said as his head hit the desk, the candles haven't gone down at all yet

She grabbed her galss and filled it quickly, not noticing the water was hotter then usual, and handed it to him, kneeling down next to him, putting a hand on his arm. "I need you to calm down please... Your emotions are controling you, you need to control your emotions. I know this is all fucked up and weird, but you need to get a handle on yourself or youll end up burning me in with my house, since im pretty sure your not flammable, my newly found demonic counterpart..." she said, trying to slip the knowledge she found past him without him freaking out.... She needed him calm to interpret him properly... and the fear of her house burning was a great one... she had many things here that were very precious to her, and the barriers were really the only thing keeping her from going insane from the voices and commands she hears...

he nodded as he tool the glass and took a sip. he sighed and relaxed a little, pretending not to here the demon thing "i wish i knew what was going on here... this is all so weird..." he said, calming down, the candles going down. part of him was now in shock. he felt her cool hand on his now warm skin and nodded "thank you.. and i am sorry for going off like that.. it has just been a very confusing last few days... and now this.. the fire... my house... what.. what could be causing all of this?" he asked as he looked up at her, finishing the glass of water and holding it in his hands, he was finally calming down, something that she should have been very greatfull for

She inwardly sighed at the eminent danger of her house being abated for the time being, and gave him a small reassuring smile. "Trust me, it will all explain itself soon enough. Now im sorry, but you have no where to go now, is that right? I dont think it would be wise for you to go to a friends house to tell all truths, so.... would you care to stay here at the shop for the night?" she ventured, hoping to keep him calmed until she could figure all the riddles out... that last one that grabbed at her... that was the big one. What of wings and His creating anew? Sounded like biblical mumbo jumbo.... she froze a moment. "Make yourself at home, as best you can. Water is there at the sink through the curtain. Please dont light any candles, or anythign else for that matter, and if you start to panic, call me, ok? My name is Klari." she said, getting up quckly and moving swift and light to the shelves of books, gathering a stub of a candle to look at the titles of the books as she scanned her finger over them lightly... She found the one she wanted and pulled it out, bringing it to the table and blowing the candle out. She saw better in the darkened room then by candle light, but for some things it was easier with the light... She scanned the large dusty text written in runes and such, her finger scanning fast each page as her lips moved, her eyes closed...

he smiles at her and nodded "thank you.. but i do not want to be a burden.. i... i can get a hotell room.. till i find a new place.. the insurance should cover that" he said as the room went dark. he could see oddly well "t.. than you for the offer though" he said "it.. it was nice meeting you Klari" he said as he stood up. part of him knew he shouldn't go, but it was his nature, he hated being a bother to people. thats why he always did what he was told to at work. he looked at her "d.. do you want me to stay?" he asked over his shoulder as he looked to the door

She looked up from the book "I dont think you should go anywhere tonight, if thats what your asking. And screw the burdening, my gift alone is burden enough that i think nothing more a burden at all. Trust me. And anyways, you stave off the commands, so id like to keep you here at least for tonight, so i may concentrate for once..." She said, raising a hand to him, never stopping from scanning the book. She put her hand to her head as a sharp command came to her, a booming voice full of cumpulsion, yet she felt detatched from it.... it was odd, and had been steadily getting worse... The words she could never understand, yet she knew he intent was not nice...

he nodded and smiled "s.. sure.. i.. i will stay for the night... thank you" he said as he looked to her and walked over "what.. what are ya looking for anyway?" he asked as he looked at her "if i am gonna stay here.. the least i can do is help out around here, cleaning, cooking, ordering food" he joked with a smile, he seemed more kind then anything else. then again. it is the least he could do for her after all of this.. "and.. your right.. things are gonna be relieved soon as to what is happening" he said as he looked at the books

She piut a hand on him, her eyes still closed, and her finger stopped over a passage... it was written in a sort of runic draconic, not something normal run of the mill people could read without a lifetime of tutoring. "Huh.." was all she said as she hovered er finger over the passage.... it was about a great war, fortelling an attack on earth, but it didnt give many decriptions as to what happened... "Well thats a mild fail and a half. and here i thought my library was the best in the world for my proffession..." she muttered, shoving the book from her, the pages flopping to a new passage, one that depicted angels and demons mingling with humans, and half demon/angels as well...

he looked at the book and froze up. "no.. i think your collection is right on the mark "he said looking at the passage, able to read the odd text "there.. theirs a war coming" he said as he looked at the book, and then back to her "or at least thats what the book says.. but whats all this about angels and demons?" he asked as he took a step back, wondering what the hell was going on now. this was all so much to take in for one day. what the hell was he gonna do? what could he do? better yet.. what was he? "just.. what are we.. and how can i read this text anyway?" he asked. clearly still confused. but staying calm.. or at least trying

She kept her eyes closed. "I am decendant of a betrayer of the heavens, an angel who chose to love a human. They had a child, who had a child who had a child who had a child that was my mother who gave birth to me. Im part angel, or so my lineage would have me believe. You my friend... I do believe may be part of something else, part... demon per chance. It would explain the fire and brimstone effect you have on my house, as well as your tolerance to heat and the fact you can read a demonic text as if it were plain english...." she put a hand on his arm, calming him with her touch and her will... She flinched at the strong command again, but didnt move to do it. "Please try to stay calm, my friend. The war is over our heads, as well as below our feet. Its not supposed to be brought to our doors." she said, trying to sooth him a bit.

he gently took her hand and nodded his hands and skin were cooling off "this.. this is allot to take in all at once..." he said and sat down "i think.. food is in order..." i vote that we talk about all this over dinner.. my treat" he said as he looked at her, the room around him... seemed.. comfortable to him, but at the same time. like he shouldent be there at all.. he wanted out, atleast for a bit "i think we should just relax, and take it easy.. if this is out of our hands, we will be alright.. wont we? i mean.. angels vs demons, angels will win.. wont they? but if... if its true, and i am part demon.. what happens to me.. or you for that matter?" he asked.. there were so many questions going through his head all at once

She gave a smile "Thats for the ends to know, not us. As for what about us, honestly i dont think theres too much to worry about, as long as if you get a voice in your head telling you to hurt poeple, or kill things, just ignore it the best you can" she said smiling as if she had been joking... but she really wasnt. "As for dinner.... sure? I just... i havent really left my shop my home in a long while.... i get groceries delivered to me by faithful clients...." she admitted, adjusting the shoulder of her robe....

he got up and smiled as he adjusted his jacket "so, what do you usually eat anyway? there is allot of places around here that serve good food" he said kindly. he just wanted to take his mind off all the crazy that just hit him. he sighed and smiles "when did this voice of yours come anyway?" he asked. he was a hansom man, short black hair, a black jacket on with a grey tshirt under it, a pair of jeans and the boots, he was truly gifted with good looks. probably a demon trair

"Honestly i eat pasta and salads, since meat is expensive and unfortunately telling the future doesnt pay as much as ancient days..."
She raised an eyebrow at the last question, "which voice? the one that tries to get me to kill things, or the one that tells me to look out?" she asked, honestly, adjusting her robes again. She seemed petite to the bone, yet not boney, more fragile and delicate, sharper features, and eyes that seemed to stare through things, tinged the brightest blue silver, her hair silver gold spun to delicate curls, long past her hips, braided and entwined with strings of vibrant colours and beads strung throughout that jingled ever so slightly when she moved, her earrings mini windchimes that tinkled as well as her bangles and her robes themselves seemed to jingle... yet nothing sounded while she walked, only while she sat still.

"hmm, so itialian sounds good then" he said and smiled "and i guess ether one would be good to know.. and why do you think you have them?" he said starting to lead the way his steps were light as he walked, he was a very odd man. "and what can you tell me about all this demon and angel stuff anyway? i am new to all of this.. and.. well i have allot of questions about everything" he said and went silent

She smiled, walking lightly next to him, pausing before she left her home, looking aver her shoulder.... "Honestly i have no idea why i have the voices... i think the one that tells me to do bad things at the moment is the voice that the angelics are hearing commanding them to go and fight.... my great great grandmother died from the voice she said boomed in her head like a great clap of thunder each time it spoke.... mine is more or less annoying, and rather loud, but not that loud... The other voice is that of my family gift, the voice of Fate, who whispers to us the secrets of the world, and tells me when to look, how to look, where to look.... i dont know.
As for demons and angels, there are stories of a great war from years and years ago, where the Devil decided he wanted dominion over earth, and heaven, so his empire could expand... but the angels beat him down... There have been instances of demons coming up and angels decending, and with those happenings chaos ensued on earth... The Cursades, the Witch Burnings, paranoia, disease, plagues.... anything and everything you name it. I have a feeling that this time is different, but i dont know how this time. As for us, i believe that our ancestors were mated with the beings of either side, and through our being human part, our powers of our counterparts were suppressed, but something has happened to unlock these powers.... Its been a long time since demons and angels were Allowed to be on earth..." she said, looking around... she seemed a bit paranoid, looking up at the sky periodically...

he walked next to her. listening and nodding as she spoke. he seemed very interested in what he was saying "so.. what if this is a fail-safe? what if there was a law set, no demon or angel could step foot on earth, and if something did, then the fail-safe is put into effect.. what if that is the case.. what if this is just a war for the sake of war.. if the demons want to claim the world once again, and got careless?" he said. he was starting to pick a few things up "is that possible for it to happen?" he asked as the approached a restraint 'Vinni's fine Italian cuisine' he opened the door for her and let her into a dim lit restraint
