Alex had just gotten off work and had begun his way home by the usual route. Normally unused alleys made a much more direct route back to his apartment than following the streets did. Normally a five foot six young man wandering through back alleys wouldn't have seemed like such a great idea but Alex knew the way and was quick on his feet. Those bright emerald green eyes were surprisingly sharp and as soon as he came across someone who looked like trouble he could simply sink into the nearest shadow and no one would be the wiser for his presence.
It was probably for the best that Alex didn't draw attention to himself. His height was one thing but it didn't help that he could easily be mistaken for a girl (and frequently was). His features were soft and feminine and his hips were a bit wide for a guy, supporting a nicely curved rear. His light blond hair was cropped short and fit quite nicely with his emerald green eyes. He wore mostly black, which was mostly for the trip home after he'd changed out of his work uniform.
A drunk stumbled from a nearby doorway and he lightly dropped into the shadows beside a disused loading dock and waited for the man to pass. Once the stumbling man was behind him he hauled himself up onto the loading dock and crept past, continuing on his way. By now he was very good at going unseen. The downside of this frequently nightly route was that taking the same route night after night had left a reasonable amount of Alex behind here. His smell clung to the alleyways. Not in such a degree that a human would have noticed it, but a wolf? To a wolf the alley way was basically a big neon sign proclaiming "Here goes Alex Wright"
