Really nothing that's a big deal at all, I've just been curious, what precicely does the "ignore" function do? If I were to set someone to be ignored, what exactly would be the effects? How does the "ignore" work?

I'm not actually setting anyone to ignore, I've just been curious about this for awhile, wondering what it would do if I ever -did- use it...

I have often wondered the same thing but I imagine it means that if you ignore someone you will not receive any messages from them in your inbox.

It would prevent that person from being able to PM you. It would also block their posts on the boards from your view. However, you will have the option to view them if you so choose, but the view won't last as it is temporary. Also, you may add or take someone off the ignore list at any time.
