Deek Wilson
Devon Crawford
SJ Armstrong
A purple Trans-AM rolled to a stop, parked just outside of a house, the two right tires nearly riding on the curb. Inside the car, three boys sat, crowded in a way, but there was still plenty of room for more. In the passenger seat, a boy, Devon, climbed into the back along with one of his friends, SJ, who he called Jimmy. Before everyone settled in the back, SJ sat next to Devon, laying his head in the empty seat. "Comfy?" Devon said, staring down at SJ taking up more room than he needed. "I am now." SJ said, relaxing his head back, and closing his eyes. Devon gave an evil smile, making a fist before dead legging him. "How 'bout now?" SJ sat up, rubbing his leg. "Asshole..." He mumbled under his breath, somehow knowing Devon won.
Deek, who was sitting in the driver's seat, peeked in the mirror to see the little fight. Letting out a small laugh, his sight turned to the porch of the house, where he also lived. "Come on... We're not waiting on you forever." He said under his breath, anticipating his sister to walk out. "Yeah, you would." Devon said like a smartass seconds later, obviously able to hear Deek. To occupy his mind, Deek shoved a tape in the radio, hitting it for the system to work. Sure, it was a piece of crap, but it was a free radio. Plus, he new how to work it. After about ten minutes of hitting and poking at the buttons, it kicked to life, the tape starting to wind up and play. His mind, and everyone elses in the car, was hooked on the house. Kerplunk blasted out of the speakers as they waited.
"You guys think she'd ever hook up with one of us?" Devon pondered with the group. In response, Deek placed his hand over his eyes, peeking, with one eye, out his fingers, and answered. "Nope... well, maybe Saint Jimmy." SJ sat up, lifting himself closer to the front. "Really? You think she'd go for me?" Devon pushed him down in the seat, noticing something the others didn't. "Shut up! She's coming out."
