HELLO. Yeah, the title lists the majority of what I want.
So let's go to it, hmmm?
Lists of plots. Reply to this thread or PM me for further discussion.
1. A young noblewoman, barely sixteen, is married to a prominent young lord aged twenty seven. She is just a hot-headed but frightened young girl lamenting the loss of her girlhood and he is a stern but noble man that treats her coldly and distantly, like a child. Their marriage is civil but loveless, but both of them try to warm up to each other. They both struggle with thoughts of infidelity, however, which strains their already weak marriage.
2. A young Irishman arrives in the states during the late 1800s, hoping to escape the sickness and starvation that claimed his family. He is hoping to build a new future for himself in this supposed "Land of Opportunity." However, he faces discrimination and destitution in America, and struggles with his heavy labor on the railway that barely pays enough to live on. He agrees to split the rent with a fellow Irish immigrant he had bonded with during the trip over the seas. Despite their constant fighting and bickering, the two forge a friendship that is almost indestructible. Things get difficult when the relationship begins to grow past the platonic boundaries, however. A mixture of Catholic upbringing and social disapproval against homosexuality leads the two men into bitter denial. As time goes by, though, the two men are finding that their facades are faltering and their defenses shattering.
3. A Victorian-era Aristocrat is a proud member of high society. Wealthy, intelligent, and handsome, he is still in the prime of his life (38 y/o?) and married to a beautiful young socialite with whom he has four beautiful children with. One thing is wrong however. His youngest daughter (16-17 y/o?) is beginning to slip from his influence unlike his other three children who obey him dutifully. It begins to drive him mad and he becomes more and more possessive and abusive with his daughter in an attempt to beat her back into shape. (This plot can be sexual or just abusive)
4. In medieval europe, there is a witch hysteria going on and there is one true witch that resides within the town. Not once has she used her powers for evil though if anyone knew of her secret she would be burned either way. Doing the best she can to live normally, the young enchantress falls in love with the local apothecary's apprentice. He eventually discovers her talent when he awakes to her enchanting his remedies to give them effectiveness. Initially fearful, he keeps her secret out of and out of knowledge that she is no demoness or conjurer. But when he himself is accused of witchcraft and imprisoned, he is faced with almost certain death at the stake or selling out the true witch to save his own skin.
5. A young man raised and living in the crummier part of Dublin has always been dealt the shittier cards. He was the illegitimate son of a wealthy businessman, kept around out of basic fraternal love. However, he never truly fit in. He was ridiculed by his step mother and step siblings and often fled to alcohol or drug use to escape his miserable house life. The moment he came of age (18) he was kicked out of the house and sent on his own. He managed to find a low paying job that supported himself and his shitty apartment and his drug use, and he ekes out a miserable, low existence. Years later, when his step brother inherits the company, he runs into him---surprisingly seeking out the same drug dealer. To keep a scandal from arising, he kidnaps his bastard brother and imprisons him deep within the estate. Mental and physical torture ensues.
