It was a strange sight to see buildings made mostly of stone rather than wood, and even stranger to see glass used as well. She smiled brightly as she was led through to town by her guide and bodyguards on her way to the palace, stopping and seeing all the sights. Like many of the people from the Zhou empire she had never been this far west, and had only heard stories about the people, how strange they looked, and how their customs differed from them. While the stories seemed negative they were also spoken with awe, as many of the people in the Zhou empire hoped to meet some of these westerners, and common fantasies had popped up about strange bedroom activities, and other deviant ideas. Miu had been curious for most of her life, and only recently was she given permission to go and see the empire, and meet its apparently beautiful queen. As her and her entourage wandered the streets she just smiled and waved at people, who all seemed just as curious as her about the strange people moving though their streets.
