Tanks sat broken in two, helicopters laid on their side blazing with fire. Buildings were falling apart around what use to be a bright and happy city from what he heard they called it New York. Him and all of his brethren took over this city with great speed along with with the greater part of the world. The humans had come in centuries ago muscling their way into history and pushing out the Dragons that had been there before the beginning of everything. During the medieval times they drove Dragons into hiding having to take the form of humans just to fit in. After about three centuries of this forced solitude they were fed up tired of the humans forcing them to hide. In the year 2120 the dragons had killed of most of the human population and destroyed all their major cities.

Tariyami walked in his Dragon beast form on all fours, he was as large as a Tank. His tail waving behind him, his wings spanned two helicopters on either side of him. He was one of the biggest dragons in beast form and he ran this area with a iron claw killing any human he found never letting them reproduce making their numbers bigger, bigger? Never around him. He was looking for any hidden getaway for the remaining humans that hid under ground away from the dragons and their rampage.

He continued his patrol coming across a cave below one of the destroyed buildings. It was the ruins cause by humans own wars he thinks the humans still called it nine-eleven. He shifted into his human form picking up ripped cloths off of dead bodies and slapping his face with mud to give him a fleeing look that he had been running for his life. He banged on the make shift barrier laughing inwardly to him self, what was that supposed to protect the wind? He yelled for someone to aid him "Help! anyone I'm on the run I lost him but I can't go back out there!"

Onica sat inside one of the bunkers, a place she had found a few months back with a hand full of other humans. Her arm in one of the younger woman's arms, as Onica had some bandages re-wrapped around her left arm. The wound a few month's old now, but still healing. Eyes watching the other that were around her doing little to nothing as they played the waiting game once more. "How is that?," the younger girl asked, as she finished binding the bandages around Onica's wounded arm. Onica did not look like it anymore, but she use to fly in the helicopters that now laid in ruins in the city's street. The human military's destroyed by the dragons in a matter of weeks it seemed, those that where left hiding out just like the rest of mankind. Her uniform replaced by a torn up, old, black muscle shit and worn out, torn jeans....the only left from here glory days were the boots she wore on her feet and the silver tags on her neck.

"Its fine," A reply from her lips just as there was a knock on the door making her head shoot to where one of the men was standing.

"Onica I thought you said there was no one out there today," It was true, she had drew the short straw for morning rounds to look of any humans that may have been left. That's why the knock on the door made her eye's narrow some, making think about what she saw this morning while on patrol. No, she didn't see anyone. She hadn't missed anything....something didn't feel right to her. Standing and taking a few steps toward the back of the bunker so that her back was against the wall. Eyes never leaving the bunker door or the man next to it.

"I didn't...." Her words clam, but slightly darkened. She had seen things out there when the war with the dragon's was still young...."Don't open it." Said as she took a knee so that she was out of sight of the door but the door way was still in her sight.

"What Onica, your training skills starting fade with age or something? You act like dragons can knock on doors." The man reaching to open the door as he hear the voice outside call out to them. Opening the door for the boy just as he said one last comment. "Whats the worse that can happen. Don't tell me your scared of letting somone in?"

The man stands there chaos on the top of his head as his spiked hair laid flat from sweat, hanging down in his eye he glared up through his bleach red locks. He smiles panting heavily as he enters looking at them all, he noted the wounded in the back they would be easy to kill. He saw the stronger ones stayed near the door to stop any intruders from entering their abode. He rubbed his arm of the hoodie he wore, taking it from what looked like a dead skater torn at the arms and zipper busted. He also wore a pair of battered leather pants he stole from a biker that lost his head due to a motorcycle mishap, wheel flying off creating a boomerang affect came back to haunt him. He ran his finger through his hair pushing it back, taking a seat on the side of the bunker where the woman hid.

He drank the water they provided for him taking long drawn out gulps as if his mouth was dry, smoke escaping as he exhaled, no one noticing that though. "So you all stay here by your self's?" He spoke to the man who held the biggest gun standing near the door. The man placing the gun on his shoulder looked at the newcomer with a general smile "Yeah. Far as we know, we are the only ones left in this area. We take turns going out to look for any other survivors but to no avail we found no one of lately. Then you came to our door step so we are sure that their might be others around." Taking the glass to the head once more he peers over the edge looking at the man once more "So you really are the last in this area?"

He smiles standing up throwing the glass at the man's head, shattered glass flying every where he laughs loudly. "What the hell is your problem man!?" The woman said leaping up from the makeshift bench running to the man's aid, placing his bleeding head on her lap she stared at the newcomer in horror as he transformed into an humanoid dragon. No wings but stood tall as the bunker her stared down at them his sharp teeth gleaming a pure white. Every person in the place that was welding a gun opened fire on him. The bullet bounced of his scales landing in random locations one landing between the eyes of the woman that cupped the mans busted head. He walked forward slowly cause he loved to play with his victims before he gave them a peaceful death.

It was not like she was really hiding, she just did not trust the guy that they had let into the bunker. Something did not feel right, she had been out there only a few hours earlier and she did not see anyone. Not a soul and no sign of anyone being around. The others where to trusting to her, they only had to survive the dragon's rage.....they where never out there on the front lines fighting to keep everyone safe and kill these things. Not that the military did much better only lasting about a month or so in the fight to save everyone. But it came with its bright side, that girl the newcomer though as hiding just believed in a good saying 'Out of sight and out of mind.'

Knowing damn well if anything happened this guy would most likely go after the armed personal first, then the ones first in his line of site. And she seemed to be right. Watching as the newcomer took that glass of water and sat down on the bench closer to her, his eyes watched the guy with the largest gun. Giving her time to duck around back of a few boxes, to the other side of them near the door. Keeping quite as she heard the glass brake, watching one of the other girls run to the wounded man's aid. The gun shots going off...killing some of the men as the bounced back. Not knowing really what had happened after all she had lost sight of the new guy. Eyes widening as the woman that was tending to the first wounded slumped over. A bullet in between her eyes.

The men that where left of course where mixed in there actions. Some going to attack the dragon, others trying to run deeper into the tunnels.....and her slowly slipping out the door. Moving slowly at first with her back against the side of the bunker until she knew she would be out of sight of the door. Taking off in a dead sprint toward one of the downed helicopters to take some kinda cover until she knew it was safe to move on.
