It was the year 2032, and the human race had spread far into the galaxy. Earth was now only one of the many planets that they inhabited, one of several hundred that they had managed to terraform in the Milky Way Galaxy. Each planet had it's own unique specialty that made them perfect for living in, or just visiting, and many ships traveled from world to world in search of goods to sell and trade. There where always ships I space now, mining ships, trading ships, merchant ships, transportation ships and busing ships, all of them traveling from planet to planet. It was a remarkably exciting day and age, something life threatening was around every corner. From Alien life forms that had cropped up, to various malfunctions on the less put together ships, to the strange diseases that ran rampant on every new planet.
On one ship, the Stratovarius, life was going as normal for the crew. She was a Long range exploration vessel, and thus the crew was small. There was a good deal of valuable cargo on board sometimes, being that the rarest minerals and gems could only be found at the very edges of the known Galaxy. The first mate Brandy Rouges where doing their normal routines when, as always, something went wrong. There was a massive sound, like a large hammer hitting a heavy gong, and the entire ship shook for a moment before alarms went off, warning of a minor breach in the hull near the kitchens. The various technicians would already be on that, it was Brady's job to find out what they had hit, or rather, what had hit them. From the reaction, it had been very big. Even Brandy was stunned by what she had found. It was not a hunk of broken ship, or a chunk of Space rock that had hit them, but a large pod. Apparently The pod was like an emergency life raft. To find something like that all the way out in the middle of nowhere... and with such strange symbols... the lines on the pod where not ones a human would recognize either. Brandy was curious, to say the least. she had the technicians 'lasso' the pod and watched as it was settled into the medical bay where the doctors very carefully opened the pod. They didn't want to open it too fast in case something dangerous popped out, or worse, they accidentally killed the creature inside. With no windows, there was no way to see inside.
Brandy gaped as the pod was opened, his eyes widening as she shook her head in utter shock. The Creature was limp, completely unconscious, but even out cold it was... beautiful. Well Brandy thought so anyway, even if the.. thing was anything but human. She raced along the halls, heading for the Captains quarters, where he was certain that the captain was procrastinating on that massive mound of paperwork. “Captain! Your going to want to come see this... we found a real life Alien! She's out cold, but he looks fairly harmless.” Brandy admitted, trotting his way back tot he medical bay and showing The Captain inside, letting him see for himself the strange, pale beauty that was laying on the bed. It looked like a... like an Earth moth! With red antenna and large eyes that where closed in unconsciousness. There where four arms with astonishingly small, delicate fingers. White fur coated the entire body and there was a red 'lions mane' that was lightly dusted with what looked like very soft pollen or dust. It was different, very different but also strangely beautiful. It was even wearing a cute little dress, as if to further imprint an appearance of innocence and helplessness. It really did look helpless and delicate, as if a single harsh grip could break it, and with a small sound, the creature opened it's emerald eyes, reveling nothing but green... there was no pupils, no irises, no whites, just green orbs that made it look even more innocent.
