It was the year 2032, and the human race had spread far into the galaxy. Earth was now only one of the many planets that they inhabited, one of several hundred that they had managed to terraform in the Milky Way Galaxy. Each planet had it's own unique specialty that made them perfect for living in, or just visiting, and many ships traveled from world to world in search of goods to sell and trade. There where always ships I space now, mining ships, trading ships, merchant ships, transportation ships and busing ships, all of them traveling from planet to planet. It was a remarkably exciting day and age, something life threatening was around every corner. From Alien life forms that had cropped up, to various malfunctions on the less put together ships, to the strange diseases that ran rampant on every new planet.

On one ship, the Falcon, life was going as normal for the crew and the few passengers on board. The captain, Aniken Skywalker, and the first mate Brady Rouges where doing their normal routines when, as always, something went wrong. There was a massive sound, like a large hammer hitting a heavy gong, and the entire ship shook for a moment before alarms went off, warning of a minor breach in the hull near the kitchens. The various technicians would already be on that, it was Brady's job to find out what they had hit, or rather, what had hit them. From the reaction, it had been very big. Even Brady was stunned by what he had found. It was not a hunk of broken ship, or a chunk of Space rock that had hit them, but a hibernation pod. These pods where like emergency life rafts. If your ship went down, you hopped into a hibernation pod and went to sleep until someone rescued them... if you didn't die first, but a Hibernation pod was your best chance of survival. To find one all the way out here though, and one with such strange symbols... the lines on the pod where not ones a human would recognize either. Brady was curious, to say the least. He had the technicians 'lasso' the Hibernation pod and watched as it was settled into the medical bay where the doctors very carefully opened the pod. Opening it too fast could cause the person inside to go into shock, which could kill them just as fast as as a heart attack.

Brady gaped as the pod was opened, his eyes widening as he shook his head in utter shock. The being was limp, completely unconscious, but even out cold it was... beautiful. Humanoid and... beautiful. He raced along the halls, heading for the Captains quarters, where he was certain that Aniken was procrastinating on that massive mound of paperwork. “Captain Skywalker! Your going to want to come see this... we found a real life Alien! He's out cold, but he looks fairly harmless.” Brady admitted, trotting his way back tot he medical bay and showing Aniken inside, letting him see for himself the strange, pale beauty that was laying on the bed. It looked almost exactly like Ancient earth depictions of... elves. Only with three fingers and a thumb instead of the common five. And as the eyes fluttered open, it was clear that the creature had no pupils, only large pools of emerald green that seamed to have no end at all. He groaned, trying to reach for the empty glass that was on the table next to him, desperate for something to drink, despite the IV's that where pumping him with liquids and nutrients so he wouldn't die before they had been able to question him.

RE: Star Bound

Brady was indeed correct as Anakin Skywalker was indeed having a staring contest with his mountain of paperwork.Even if he knew that he needed to take care of it, he had no desire to do so. He was a man made for action, for battle, this sit by the side and work on paperwork, killed him. That the man was one of the best fighter pilots in the galaxy was no contest, though the fact that was flying a smuggler's ship instead of a starfighter was a story that he told no one. And he had no desire to do so.

Glancing up at the sound of the knocking he frowned at the sight of his frien before nodding. "well, harmless is usefully the most harmful."Anakin said frowning a little before following him into the bay, glancing down at the alien.. Wathcing the creature wake he studied him slowly, "hey hey don't. You're going to rip out the Iv's."Anakin said forcing the alien back down before sitting down on the edge of the bed, helping him sit up enough that he coul drink.Careful to not disturb the medical equipment to much.

RE: Star Bound

Brady smirked as he looked at the mountain of paperwork and he snickered. even if they where technically 'pirates' there was still a shit load of paperwork to be done. mostly to keep their ship up to code so they didn't get tagged going into ports. he watched the captain approach the strange creature, who whimpered as he was forced to lay back down, but once the captain helped him to sit up, the creature gratefully gulped down the water. one of the side effects of being in hibernation. you woke up so thirsty you thought you where going to die, no matter what species you where apparently. "Fyran." the Alien muttered, tapping it's chest and offering Aniken a small smile before tapping the captains chest, it's head tilted a little, looking for a name no doubt. "more water please?" well wasn't that a shock! the Elf like alien spoke English! "Captain. aside from the usual severe dehydration and the mild malnutrition, the... creature appears to be unharmed and very healthy... these are the things we found inside the Hibernation Pod, and the things we pulled off of him to get him into the hospital gown."

on the table where two long daggers made of a metal that looked like silver, yet flexed and cut like the sharpest of Japanese steel. there was a bright 'crown' of sorts made of a greenish metal that glimmered in the light, and there was clothing made of the finest silk. whoever this man was, if it was in fact a male, it was clear they where very well off. no matter what planet you where on, things like that couldn't be cheep. there was also a mass of jewelery of sorts. rings and earrings, there where necklaces and hanging strands of jewels that looked like dew on a spiderweb, and there was an intricate web made of braided silver string that looked as though it was supposed to settle into the Elf's hair. it looked as if he had been dressed to impress, but even without all of that pomp and 'treasure' he looked very very... impressive. Fyran settled into the bed again once his second cup had been drained and slipped into a light doze, feeling tired and worn out. again, normal after being trapped in Hibernation, because it wasn't a true sleep, you where just suspended, unaware but not asleep either. "it needs to rest." the Doctor stated calmly. "you can look at it later. it could go into shock at any moment, it looks a lot like us but it's system... i've never seen anything so complicated before! a single bit of germ in the hydrating liquids might send the poor thing into shock!" "what do you think Captain?" Brady asked, examining the creature on the bed. "it sure is pretty in any case. is it a male?" "as far as i can tell, yes." the doctor admitted. "it has the anatomy in any case."

RE: Star Bound

Anakin smiled slightly as his chest was tapped, tilting his head slightly. "Anakin Skywalker."He said nodding a little as he helped the other sip the water, glancing up at the doctor and brady."He can't be from that far away, at least if he knows english."He said sounding thoughtful before moving to look at the items his crew had found.

Looking thoughtful the pirate nodded a little before looking at brady."see that it all gets locked up. I don't want any of it turning up missing."He said the vague threat in the words. He trusted his crew, but with this much wealth, he wasn't willing to take a chance. Nodding slightly he sighed softly, nodding as he laid Fyran to lay down. "I'll see to him in the morning."He muttered before looking at brady."See that a room near mine is set up for him. IT'll be a few days before we put in to port, so he's going to be with us for awhile."

RE: Star Bound

Brady shook his head. "someone might have taught him English, someone from around here, or close by. he's not the first Alien life we've found. remember those blue people that we saw our last trip into port? they where from an entirely different galaxy." Brady pointed out. "we can always ask him in the morning." he admitted before saluting his captain and gathering up all of the Items. Brady had been with the Captain from the very first voyage, and he was always trustworthy and followed Aniken's order's to the letter. he would make very certain that nothing, and no one bothered Fyran's things. a strange name that, Fyran. "i'll have the room set up too captain. once the doc get's done with him i'll have him moved in there, he'll be more comfortable that way... Hibernation recovery sucks." Brady admitted with a wrinkled nose. he'd spent three weeks in hibernation once and when he'd come out of it he'd drank a full gallon of water, puked twice, and spent a week in bed just trying to recover from all the muscle cramps he'd gotten from being locked in one position for so long.

as expected, in the morning Fyran was sitting in a proper bed and was struggling to grip the strange utensil that was a fork, his brows furrowed as he stabbed at the slippery pieces of fruit on his plate. he couldn't have been at it long as Brady had just woken his captain for breakfast, but the Alien was clearly very stubborn to still be using the fork when it clearly 'didn't' work... well, it didn't work for the Alien anyway. Fyran sighed as he set the fork down and picked up the food with his fingers. he'd have to eat easily digested foods for a few days or risk getting sick, but the Alien seamed to enjoy the slices of coconut, oranges, and apples on his plate. he glanced up, seeming to suddenly notice that the Captain was there and hesitated. "Aniken Skywalker... right?" he asked, blinking a little, his head tilted. "that's your name? last night is a little... fuzzy."

RE: Star Bound

anakin looked thoughtful as he walked into the medical bay, tilting his head slightly as he watched fyran try to use a fork."You could just eat it with your fingers. We wouldn't think less of you."He said tilting his head slightly before moving to sit on the edge of the bed before nodding."Yes, hiberation can leave things a little fuzzy, but you are right. MY name is anakin skywalker, you're on my ship at the moment."

Fyran offered the other a hesitant little smile. "i am not used to such things..." he admitted calmly. "though i have learned the English so that i can communicate with hopeful allies in the Galaxy, i did not think to study eating habits..." he admitted, blinking at his food. "what is this please? it is delicious." Coconut. "i am sorry to have caused you and your crew any issues... er, no that's not the right word... any setbacks? problems! yes that's the right word." he muttered almost to himself. "i am afraid, i am not a very safe person to have on board your ship though. i am being hunted you see. i am Prince Fyran rethuiteil Zeiquin ruth. Heir to the future Throne of Adominus and the Three Moons. my people are under attack by a parasitic species, who take over planets, suck out every available resources, and leave the planet dead before moving on to kill the next one. like your Earth Locusts only they don't die at the end of the year. i left my planet on the Star-ship Sheipol... what you would call 'Hope' in an effort to locate, and find sentient aid to put a stop to these creatures. while we have impressive weaponry, it is mostly energy based, and the foul creatures have found a way to disable our defenses. when i left, i was unaware of being followed until i was out in the middle of nowhere and being attacked by the damn things. i set my ship to autopilot, crawled into a Hibernation pod and jettisoned myself out moments before my ship crashed into theirs. no doubt, my people, and the 'bugs' think i am dead. but i desperately need to find a new ship, or speak to someone in command of the nearest local planet, so i can either get warriors, or weapons. i don't have much at the moment, but i am more than willing to pay you for your services if you can take me to your planet capitol to speak to your planetary leaders."

Anakin laughed a little shrugging."Eating habits would have been helpful prince. Everyone can bond over food."He smiled to show he was just teasing before smiling wider."Coconut. Something that grows on a tree at home."he said shaking his head a little. "You have not caused any problems. In fact, you saved me from death by paperwork."He sighed thinking about it staring at the floor before nodding. The man was a warrior...or at least had been. And enough of his honor remained in tact that he had to see that Fyran had a chance to get the help he needed."I will have brady plot a course to my world. Or at least the closest outpost with a diplomat in residence."

the prince shrugged. "it never occurred to me that the eating implements would be different." he admitted with a small smile. "Coconut... very tasty." he agreed, sampling another piece. "death by what?" the Alien prince asked, looking amazed. "paper can work? how so? do they attack people who don't work hard enough?" he asked curiously. how interesting, did his people not have paperwork? or was it all electronic? maybe they just flat out didn't have paper? "what is a Brady?" "i'm Brady." Brady chirped as he walked in, wiping his hands free of oil. "the hulls been fixed captain. no more leaking air, we have the techies on the Air converter to replace what we lost, but we're in no danger." he promised blinking at his Captain. "you said you needed me to plot a course? Theptim Prime has Nobleman Thompson at the moment, that's the closest planet." but not the most patient of Dignitaries. he would take one look at Fyran and immidiatly hate and fear the 'strange creature'. "if not that one then the next one has Archimedes Reincon." son of 'president' Reincon, Archimedes was being groomed to take his fathers place as the ruler of earth. "he's on Terra." called so because it was the very first planet to be successfully altered to sustain life. even better, Archimedes owed The Falcon a favor, for transporting a very deadly, dangerous, and highly illegal animal right under his fathers nose. the president STILL didn't know that Archimedes had a Bicorn on it. named for the twin poison filled horns on it's nose, it looked almost like a horse, but leathery with bat like wings. unlike horses... it drank the blood of freshly dead creatures. it had been a pain in the ass to transport, that was for sure.

"Paperwork. I have to fill orders and such, my pile of work to do was getting nastily tall."He said looking bemused at the other's words, before snickering a little."Don't mention that idea to any of my crew, they might figure out how to get my work to attack me."He said sulking a little before looking up at brade, "No, not Theptim."He groaned because he knew that would just a disater. Not to mention Thompson and Anakin had a... aggresive negoations relationship. Perking u pa little as he realized Archimedes was near enough to be helpful he nodded."head for Arch."He said looking thoughtful.

the alien blinked at him for a moment and then. "orders? like... permits?" Fyran asked curiously. "we have codes." he admitted. "etched into silver disks. you have to have a specific code to get into specific areas, purchase certain things, and even buy items not allowed to the general public. you have to meet a person in order to get certain codes. like if your going on vacation you visit the travel coder." sort of like permits, passports, and special licenses. having to meet a person face to face would cut down on a lot of the illegal activity too. good thing the Milky Way Galaxy didn't employ things like that. "it is easy to make work attack you." Fyran admitted. "all they would have to do is tip the mound of.. papers? onto you. very dangerous." Fyran admitted with a nod of his head before returning to his meal. Brady smirked a little at his captain. "Arc? really captain your calling him Arc now?" he asked, snickering a little. "you are SO lucky he's not like his father." he pointed out before heading to the bridge to plot out their new course. "by the way, where are my things?" Fyran asked suddenly. "i don't much care about the jewelry or the clothes but the green circlet... i need that." he admitted, looking nervous. "it is a crown of sorts, but it also lets My People know that i am still alive. so long as it's on my head, they will get a life signal from me. they must be terribly upset..."

"Oh. WEll something like that, only written on paper."Anakin said looking vaguely amused at the idea of silver disks. While it would indeed cut down on his paperwork, it would make smuggling stuf harder. WRinkling his nose a litle at Brady's words he nodded."I call him Arc all the time. Annoys the hell out of him, and since he made me carry that damned beast, he deserves some annoyance."He grumbled before getting up."I locked them up so none would get lost. Let me get it."He said before walking out, returning in a few minutes with the circlet, holding it out towards the alien.

Fyran nodded. "ah! paper, yes i get it ow, paperwork, very clever!" he chirped, smiling a little. "we don't use Paper much." he admitted simply. "trees are sacred on my planet. we might take some of the already dead ones and turn those into paper, but they are only for very special circumstances. like an invitation to a royal ball. or a letter to another planet." he admitted. "we mostly use electronic transferals. i beleive you call them E-Mails. i studied very hard on the modes and methods of Earthling communications." he admitted. "but most of it was very confusing... like, what is the difference between an E-Mail and a Text?" he asked, looking rather baffled. Brady was laughing at his captains complaints and he shook his head, looking amused. "well, so long as he's annoyed at YOU, and not all of us." he pointed out calmly before leaving. Fyran looked a little baffled by the By-play bit didn't say anything as Anakin left and returned with the circlet. Fyran sighed, cradling it carefully in his hands and examined it very carefully for any dings, scratches, scuffs or damage. finding nothing wrong he carefully polished it with his sleeve before sliding it back into place like it was a headband, the pink stone in the middle gleaming as the entire thing let off a soft chiming sound, as if it was sentient and reacting to Fyran. "...there, now my people will know i am alive." he stated, looking very relived. clearly the crown was of great personal importance to him as well. other than being his mark of authority, it seamed to have sentimental value as well. "thank you Captain Skywalker."

"Ah.We use emails, but out here in space, eletronic transfers can be somewhat tricky."He said looking thoughtful before biting his lip a little. Running his fingers through his dark hair he smirked slightly."A email is on the computer, usually longer then a text. A text is sent from a phone, and usually contains shorthand."He explained, pretty sure that he was just confusing the other more. Settling on the bed when he returned again he nodded, "Well, I am sorry if we caused them any distress. I wouldn't have removed it had I known."He said standing again, looking vaguely uncomfortable with the thanks."You're welcome. But I better go, and talk to Arc, make sure he's not to annoyed with me.Rest, fyran."he said walking out and setting about making sure they got safely to the planet.

Fyran nodded a little before looking even more baffled. "teli-phones. those are those hand held devices that you talk into, yes?" he asked curiously. "i never did understand their purpose. they are for communicating then?" he asked, pondering that before shrugging. "it wouldn't be the first time it's been removed." he assured the other. "they'll have been waiting for it to pip back into place." he promised, smiling a little. "they would have been worried, but they wouldn't have been grieving." he promised before settling back into his bed, looking all too happy to be going back to sleep. "good luck with your conversation." he murmured. as close as they where to the planet, Arc and Anakin could do a Video conference. it would be staticky, and shaky, but they could do it, and as expected, Brady already had Arc on the screen. the man was clearly a nobleman. he was straight backed, and his appearance was perfect in every way, but unlike his father, Archimedes was smiling brightly. "Anakin! great to see you! don't suppose you have anymore illegal animals on board i could get from you? Father found out about the Bicorn and took it away, the stuffy old bastard." the man complained, rolling his eyes. "anyway you look like your in a bit of a mood so i'll just ask what you need. a favor right? i can't imagine you'd be calling me like this otherwise."

"Yes, they're for talking to each other."Anakin said looking amused before looking relieved that he hadn't caused to much distress to othe man's people. Noding s he left he smiled slightly at the sight of his friend. Despite their differences, the two men understood each other. "No, not this time Arc. Though I will keep a eye out for some."he said a small smile quirking his lip."No animals but I did pick up someone out of a hibertion pod."He said looking vaguely uncomfortable. Despite the man owing him a favor, he hated asking for it. "I talk to you for other reasons then needing something."he said frowning a little at the man's implication before nodding."but this time your right, I need a favor. Can we land, and talk?"

Arc looked a little surprised at that. "A Hibernation pod? did you find me a woman Anakin?" Arc asked hopefully, looking amused. "and yes you do! it' always something!" Arc teased. "you're bored and need attention, or your about to land and want to get together for lunch." he teased, smirking at the other, clearly he was teasing his... er, freind. he frowned a little at Anakin's unusually somber mood. "Anakin... are you in trouble? what do you need? hold on a second..." he ordered before he vanished from the screen. he returned after a moment. "you have landing clearance for Dock five hundred and forty two." that was the dock they always used. "i'll meet you there, whatever trouble your in, i'm sure i can help." Archimedes promised before the screen went dark. Arc had to run to make it to the Dock at the same time as they did. Brady was already taking them down and he glanced at the Captain. "we're going to have to disguise Fyran Captain. i have a hooded cloak he can wear.. if people find out we have a new Alien, there's going to be a riot. if people find out he's on the run from parasitic bugs? their going to completely panic. it wasn't long before they had landed and Archimedes hopped onto the loading dock, looking around and smiling at Brady. "are we talking here, or where we going to my place?" "your place, it's safer." Brady stated simply, fussing over Fyran, who was completely covered in the thick forest green cloak. his eyes had been covered by a pair of sunglasses, and he was keeping his hands in the sleeves of his cloak. no one could tell he was anything but an already discovered Alien. after all, the blue folk wore heavy cloaks like that, so as to not offend the 'sun skinned ones'. Archimedes looked a little baffled, but led the way back to his house... manor.

"No not a woman."Anakin said looking amused at Arc's demands for a woman. A small frown on his face at the other's teasing. Despite knowing that it was mostly true, he was feeling angsty what with Fyran on board and worried about what was going to happen now. Nodding when Arc gave them the codes, he checked in helped the others land the ship before walking off the ship."Hey Arc.Come. we'll speak inside."He muttered walking inside with a slight smile as he looked at arc's house. It always amazed hi to see the place arc called home. "Arc, I would like to introduce you to prince Fyran who you so wanted to be a woman, and isn't."He said snickering a little looking up at Arc."You have something to drink in this place?I need something."he said heading for the man's study.

Archimedes nodded as he was ordered into his own home, shaking his head a little. "i have some aged Scotch and Whiskey in my office, we'll talk there." he promised, glancing at the supposedly 'prince' Fyran who was still covered up. only once Brady had the office door closed ad Arc had the drinks poured did Fyran pull down his hood, making Arc choke on his sip. "oh my god you found an Elf! are those REAL!?" Arc demanded, carefully touching the long pointed ear, making Fyran scowl. "yes their real! and it's very rude to touch someone like that!" he complained, jerking his head away from Arc's questing touches and setting his hands over his ears as if to protect them. Arc flushed sheepishly and shook his head. "sorry, i just... wow your eyes!" Arc muttered in amazement, peering very closely at the Alien's eyes. "no pupils! how do you see?" "oh, i have a Pupil, it's just exactly the same color as my irises." Fyran admitted simply as he accepted the Whiskey, giving it a sniff before tasting it a little. "this is very good, i enjoy this." Fyran admitted before glancing at Anakin. "is it safe to talk here? i don't want to make any people panic." "it's safe here." Arc promised, looking curious. "oh good... i have a problem you see." and so Fyran explained what was happening. how the 'Bugs, known as Aracnis Generals and their Drones where attacking his planet and killing it, and everyone on it slowly because all energy based weapons had quickly been taken down. "we need either a lot of very tough people, or a lot of weapons that pack a big punch but don't run on energy." funnily enough, there was hundreds of thousands of weapons just there on the planet, regular old bullet filled guns. not much could disable those. "i need allies for my people, i need to be able to destroy these bastards before they hurt my planet beyond repair, or worse, go after another planet. unfortunately, the closest planets... are in the Milky Way Galaxy... if the 'Bugs' finish off my planet, they'll come here, and we can't stop them alone... we're helpless right now." Fyran admitted, looking upset. "and their so damn hard to kill with the weapons we have at our disposal..." "...i'll.. call the planet president shall i?"

"Good. you always ahve the best alcohol."Anakin mused looking amused as he winced at Archimedes' fawning over the alien."Hm, stop fawning there Arc. You're going to embarss yourself."He said sighing softly as he slumped into his chair, rubbing a hand over his face as he listened."Yea, its fine. Arc doesn't let anyone 'bug' his office."he snickered a little at his joke before growing serius. Sighing softly as he looked at arc's shocked face."Call. We'll wait here. WE could use some food to."He said trying to shake his friend out of his shock, to get him focused.

Arc snorted a little. "i embarrass myself all the time, why should now matter?" he asked curiously before making the call to the people he needed to call. the President of Terra, and the General of Terra's military forces. they would both be there within the hour, and he quickly called a maid to make them all something to eat. soon there was hot soup with thick noodles and hot chocolate all around. good wholesome comfort food. Fyran took one sip of the Hot Chocolate and declared it was the 'best thing ever' and proceeded to hoard both his and Brady's hot chocolate from prying eyes in case someone tried to steal them. thankfully Brady didn't like Hot Chocolate so there was no fighting. it was really rather amusing watching the Alien sip and suckle at the Hot chocolate like it was the greatest thing in the world. they must not have had Chocolate on his planet.

(you play the Terra president and the general. i have too many Characters at the moment XDD)

The president of Terra, one Solien Starcatcher, looked amused as he settled into his chair sipping his drink as he watched the alien drink. It was highly amusing and he knew anakin found it amusing, but he knew that there was a reason he was asked here. "Now ARhimedes, I know you didn't ask us here for just amusement. Whatever can I and Eric do for you?"

Eric Northman frowned at the group, annoyed to be in the company of the smuggler who took so much pleasure in always outwitting his men, but his commander wanted him to play nicely and see what they wanted. So he would do it. Anakin smirked a little as if he knew what the general was thinking, tilting his head slightly. "We have a problem, that we need help solving." "Why should we help you smuggler? You always make things difficult, haul your own ass out of it."Eric frowned making a face at the slightly younger man

Archimedes smiled a little as he watched the president, his 'mentor' of sorts since his Father couldn't bare to look at him. especially with what Archimedes' had done to his hair, the bright blue locks annoyed everyone but Solien, the man glared at Eric furiously when the General opened his mouth and Fyran stood, staring at Eric. "it is not HIS, problem, General. it is mine... in fact it is all of ours because if we cannot stop what is affecting my planet... it will spread into THIS galaxy and one by one YOUR planets will also fall." Archimedes wined at the tone of the Alien's voice. clearly Fyran didn't like anyone picking on Akiken. it was the most serious tone that anyone had ever use the Alien use. it was easy to see Fyran as a prince now, back straight, chin up, his eyes fixed on Eric intently, as if daring the man to question him again. without waiting for a response Fyran explained the problem again and Archimedes hesitated.

"just what do these... Aracnis look like?" he asked and Fylin grimaced as he sat back down. "i don't know if i could describe them to you... the Generals are massive, twice as tall as i am. they have massive claws and they are very intelligent... they have armor plating that can be broken with enough force. the Drones are much easier to deal with they are slimy, thick clawed with prehensile tongues, they have no eyes and no real mind. they only do what the Generals tell them to. they 'see' using heat patters, but a hard strike to their exposed brain can take them down... the only problem is that for every general, there's a few hundred drones."

Eric raised a eyebrow looking startled at Fyran's defense of the smuggler, tilting his head slightly to Anakin."I apologize then captain." "Well, that was a first time.Thank you."Anakin said looking thought before smiling quietly as he watched the others as the situtaion was explained.

Solien swallowed looking disturbed at the description of the aliens before sighing softly running his fingers through his hair. "I wonder if normal guns would work. A nice safe distance away and still able to kill."He said looking thoughtful. "Well. They might..."Anakin frowned quietly, he just couldn't think of a good way to get involved in this fight without messing it up even more. "We should see to the weapons in the morning. Show Fyran, he might have a idea what works best."He said glancing at the prince.

Fyran looked vaguely amused as he shook his head and finished sucking down his hot chocolate, the little bit of it that was left, making sure to lick his cups completely clean. "as long as they can punch through a strong metal, they can be used to kill the Aracnis." Fyran admitted calmly. most of the higher powered Rifles, any automatic weapon, even a shot gun would be powerful enough to kill the aliens. the humans where uniquely capable of dealing with this threat. and they could probobly even deal with the problem before it spread to the human colonies. Fyran followed Eric into the other room where Archimedes kept a shooting range. Archimedes loved to shoot weapons, and was always working on his aim. Fyran handled a handgun, his eyes narrowed before he handed it to Eric, silently asking him to demonstrate. he jumped and shrieked as he clapped his hands over his ears at the first shot and watched with amazement as Eric unloaded the clip. "impressive! that can certainly kill the drones easily enough if you shoot them in the right place... i don't think they'll kill a General at all. do you have anything more powerful?" and wasn't that a stupid question? the problem was, even with the weapons, you still had to shoot them in the head or they didn't go down. Fyran did look very very impressed with human fire arms and allowed Eric to show him how to fire a handgun... he got a round off and he popped himself in the eye and refused to touch the gun again. he did have an impressive shiner though, by the time he got back to the office. "your weapons are very impressive!"
