Surviving Love (Kiroz & Nichoy)

The day was sunny today and the weather was warm. Probably one of the last warm days that they wil have this year, the summer is ending and autumn is coming, that means bad and rainy weather.
At least Denis was enjoying this sunny day today.

Denis was a 20 years old guy who wroks to pay for his collage. Denis is from Russia, but moved to America to study here, he alway wanted to live here even though he misses his family all the time. Even though he is from Rusiia his english is very good, you would never guess that he is not an american if it wasnt for his accent. It was very hard for him to live here alone at the begining. He had no friends, the citys here were so s big, a lot bigger then the small town he lived in Russia. At his friest day in a America he lost a few times around the city, it was good that he knew the language almost perfectly so he asked around the streets where is the street his apratment was in... He was very lonely at the begining, his days were always the same. Study, work... Study, work... All the same, every day.

Until one day he met this guy in his work. He was working at a coffee shop as a witer trying to make money to pay for his collage which was so expensive. But one day it was a normal day at work, but then he tripped and every order that he was holding, he dropped and everything broke on the ground. But then this guy Brian came and help him clean. He was so nice and friendly and that friendliness made them become best friends.
Even though Denis likes Brian, from the first day they met he has feelings for him. But he never showed them, he thought there could be something betwen them, but their friendship was so so perfect that he didn't want to ruin everything... And Denis was sure that Brian wasn't gay like him, and actually Denis never told Brian that he was gay, not knowing how will he react and that may ruin their friendship.

Denis just ended work today, the sun was seting down and it was getting dark.
Denis was heading to Brian's home, Denis was going to stay there for the night. Usually they always spend time in each other's home and were most of the time together. Denis was wearing a dirty white very thin sweater, underneath a white short sleeved shirt, normal jeans and white sneakers. Even though it was warm outside he had his grey hat on his head covering his blonde hair that only his blond bang was showing underneath his hat covering his forehead, and his grey gloves (everything from the picture)
He was standing around 5'9 ft tall and with a normal body, thin with musculs, well not as perfect as his best friend's body was, but still good looking.

Before Denis went to his friend's home, he frist went to a shop to get some beers for them, not enough to get drunk, but still a little. Knowing Brian, Denis was sure that he was playing games right now while he was waiting for Denis. Denis was not much of game player, but once he became friend with Brian they always played together games, every kind of game and it was interesting.

It was sad that Denis will be starting collage in 2 weeks again and then he will not have much time to spend with his best friend, but they will see each other of course.
And in a few minutes he reached Brian's apartment. It was in a building on the third floor so he took the stairs on foot. Knocking on the door a lot of times, cuz sometimes Brian doesnt hear him when he is playing games. Waiting for the door to open he grabbed his phone from his pocket and looked at the time "6:34" He whispered to himself tiredly, he was so tired right now, he just wanted to see Brian and rest, working all day got him exhausted and he just needed some time to sit on his ass and rest.

Living alone was something he loved, his family living elsewhere gave him the opportunity to be himself wherever he went. Brian was someone that was not afraid to be who he really was, that was until he met the first boy that made him fall in love, Denis. Ever since Brian met him they always been together, ever since the start Brian noticed he was alone much like Brian. Both of them spent their days on the others place most of the time.

He woke up early today knowing that Denis was working and decided not to bother him. Going to college he spent most of his day at the classes that he was taking. He had little to no friends and the ones he had knew about him being gay. None of them ever told anybody about him being gay and that was how he liked it. The teacher gave him a homework which he thought he would leave for the next day since he did not had any more classes until Monday.

Now it was time to relax and play some games, but before everything else he needed munchies. Walking to the store near his apartment getting some sodas and some chips he grinned as he went over to pay for the stuff and waved at the girl behind the counter, “Hey girl… what’s up?”. He grinned as he searched his pocket for some of the money and placed it on the counter.

“Ah, not much…working. It’s your friend coming tonight as well?” the blush coming from Brian gave it away clearly. He waved at the girl as he walked to his apartment and locked the door behind him. Finally he was alone, going to the kitchen he dropped the bottles of coke on the fridge and walked to his room turning on his tv and computer. “I guess I am going to take a bath” he walked over to the bathroom and took a long bath knowing that tonight he would be with his crush.

Finally after the bath he sat down in front of his tv and began playing the game he left playing. The game was a war game as he always loved. He played for a few hours before he noticed the knock on the door. Groaning he walked over to the door and unlocked it opening it after, “Come in bro”. He left it open so he could enter before walking back to his room and continuing to play.

Denis waaited a few secounds and then he saw the door opening. He smiled at the sight of Brian, he just wanted to be with him right now and have some fun together, he wished Brian knew what Denis felt for him but nothing like this can happen. Once the door was left open and Brian quickly walked away probably going to play his game again... Ahhh Brian, always playing games

Denis brushed his tired eyes with his fingers and walked inside the house closing the door behind him locking the door and then he walkd to the kitchen with one of his hand holding a few beers in a bag. Once he was in the kitchen he opened the fridge and placed the beers inside so they do not get warm. Now everything was set, but Denis was starving... ut Denis ordered a pizza a few minutes ago telling the pizza man to bring the pizza to Brian's adress, the pizza should be here he hoped, cuz his stomach was starting to grolw fiercly.

Sighing Dani walked to where Brian was lazily, he wanted to sit down and rest. AAnd that's what he did, seeing that Brian was down on the floor sitting there in front of his TV playing a game of course, Denis rolled his eyes with a smile on his face thinking that he knew his best friend too good. Denis sat down next to Brian and he took his hat off and his gloves off, showing his beautiful blonde hair. Most of the people thought that Denis was crazy walking with that hat and gloves all the time even at this time when the weather was warm, but not Brian, Brian never told bad things for Denis, and he knew that Deni's was cold most of the times, even at summer.

"I ordered a pizza. It should be here soon." He said to Brian, he ordered one pizza, but a big one for both of them. Sighing he brushed his eyes again and leaned back laying compleatly on the ground on his back, with his hands underneath his head and his shirts lifting up a little showing some of his stoamche as he closed his eyes and tried to rest like this only for a few secound.

Brian walked back to the tv, it was the biggest thing on the house his nearly forty inch tv. Every player could love Brian setup as he had every system and game out. To say that Brian knew nothing about technology is like telling a fish that it did not knew how to swim. He looked back at Denis laying down on the floor and Brian could not help but to smirk, he was always working and that was very good he fell in love with a worker which was even better. “There are some of your clothing here, if you want go get a bath and relax I cleaned the clothes for you they are in the usual box”. Brian always had a box filled with clothing that Denis often left at his house, he always cleaned them before putting them back on it.

“Good, I am hungry”, just then there was a knock on the door and a girl with a pizzeria hat and a shirt with the pizzeria logo was outside. While Denis went out to pay and get the pizza Brian decided to surprise him, he had rented a few movies awhile ago and decided it would be a good time for them to see the movies, especially with the sound system he had. Finally grinning he turned off the game and walked over to a white desk on his room and picked up a bag with a couple of cds inside. “I rented some movies yesterday so I thought we could watch them tonight, the game will be on maintenance so I would not be able to play, I thought we could watch some movies instead.

Little did he knew however that at that hour something horrible happened, a man in the hospital bit another man tearing the flesh out of his skin. Little did they knew that would start a chain of events during the night that would end the humanity. Gamer in heart Brian had a couple of Japanese swords hanging from the room but he had no idea how to use them. Finally Brian waited for his friend to go get the pizza as he set up the tv with the first of the movies.

 

[Nicky]

"Oh cool. I totally forgat that I always leave clothes here. No wonder I alway think I have lost something" He aid jockingly. He would lve to take a bath, but he was really tired right now, maybe latter, when they eat the pizza then he can go and take a bath... Brian was such a good friend, even though Denis just leaves his clothes here he alays finds them cleaned and smelling like Brian's scent which drove hi mcrazy all the time. But he couldnt really do a thing about that... Denis cracked one eye open to see the game that Brian was playing on that gigantic TV, Denis always wondered where Brian had money to buy a tv like that and everything else that involved games was pretty expensive.

Denis heard the door knocking, the pizza was here probably. He was lazy to get up but as how lazy he was he stood up lazely from the floor with a gasp from air after he was up. He stretched his arms and walked to the door. Opneing it he saw a girl holding a pizza. She was young and looked good, but he didn't really care. Denis grabbed some money from his pocket and gave it to the girl, she gave him the pizza and then the change and then he closed the door walking back to where Brian was.
"Cool. We havent watched moveis together in a long time. Usually when I am here you always play games" He said teasing with Brian as he placed the pizza down on the floor and sat down on his ass. Opening the pizza grabbing the amazing scent of food, wanting to eat it whole, but there was penty for both of them.
"So what are watching? A horror movie" Brian knew how much Denis loved horror movie he wondered if it will be one. Grabbing a slice of pizza he observed the handsome male and a pink blush appeared on his cheeks as he ate bit the pizza and tried not to look at Brian's body even though it was hidden with clothes he still was so so hot.

Grinning Brian looked back at him as he came back with the wonderful smelling pizza. If there was something he loved was the smell of a good made pizza and the local place made the best ones in the city. He grabbed a slice and smirked at his friend, knowing his fascination for horror movies made him go the extra mile to get something good that he was looking to watch, “Remember the last Resident Evil movie that came out?, the one you could not go to watch because you had work. Well I found it” he had seen the movie already but he knew that Denis wanted to watch it madly.

The cheese of the pizza were all over the place, the pizza was one of those that the cheese seemed to melt with the pizza and fall off. He grinned walking to the kitchen and grabbing two glasses with ice and the soda and bringing it back so they could drink them, handing him the glass he always used for drinking Brian sat down besides him turning off the lights before he did. He finally looked at Denis and blushed before turning his attention back to the T.V. as the Zombies began appearing and Alice began killing all of them.

Brian finally relaxed on the floor sitting down with his legs crossed in front of him. He was wearing a pair of shorts that ended on his knees and a no sleeve shirt. There was nothing but a single tattoo on him, the face of his little brother with the birthdate and the date of his death, they were both really close to each other and one of the few people that knew Brian was gay.

With his free hand Denis brushed his forhead trying to move his blonde bangs aside and with his other hand he was holding the pizza slice and eating it. Looking up at Brian as he started talking "Yeah... You eally found it"He said with happy voice. Even though the Resident eveil movies are not really horror, they are more action, but he guessed it will work. Not that it really matter, the only thing that matters is that he is here with his best friend spending time together. Even though recently it was starting to get very hard to stay around Brian without expresing his feelings for him... How much he loved him.

"You know me too well Brian"He said to Brian, the resident evil movies were not the best, but Denis just loved movies with zombies. The film started but he looked at Brian as he stood up and walked to the kitchen. Denis could not hold himself and he just observed Brian's muscular body as he walked away. Denis did not have the body that Brian had but that didnt really matter. And of course Denis always wore so many clothes on top of him even now when it was still warm outside.

Denis turned his attention back at Brian when he came inside the room again bringing glasses filled with soda. Denis continued chewing the tasety pizza he had in his mouth and with his free hand he grabbed the glass and took a sip from it placing it down as he continued eating.
"So what did you do without me today?" He asked Brian without looking at him but just staring at the big TV that the movie was going.

“Classes, just boring old classes” Brian said as he leaned his back on the bed behind him. His room was full of posters of different games and even trophies of gaming tournaments. He smirked as he looked back at his friend, “I can imagine you just worked all day long, honestly bro I cannot see how you can handle working like that”. Scratching the back of his head he looked at the window as some screams were heard, on the place he lived that could be heard from time to time reason why he had a steel gate behind the door so nobody could enter if he was inside.

“Why would people don’t just shut up man” he frowned and looked at the tv as he ate another slice of pizza. Pizza was one of the things he could easily eat even though he was on a diet most of the time. “I would need to run like three miles if I want to get this fat off, love it though” he grinned as he continued watching the movie now that it entered the most interesting part. He wondered exactly when they both would be able to tell each other their feelings.

Finally after the movie was over and most of the slices of pizza were gone Brian picked up he almost empty box and walked to the kitchen tossing it on top of the counter. He looked out the window and yawned it was late and he was quite frankly tired of what the day. Going to the couch he took out the bed from inside the couch which was usually where Denis slept and prepared the bed for him, “Bed is ready” he said as he walked back to the room.

 

[Nicky]

"Well you know I have to pay my collage bills. And my apartment's rent" He said sighing. Usually at summer when he has no classes he wworks the entire day from morning till night, but he alwasy had time for Brian, so sometimes he gets off of work early to go see Brian, the man he loves so much... But then while the movie was going and they were eating pizza he heard some screams from outside, he was about to stand up and see what is going on out from the window, but then he rememberd that soemthing like that always happened here in this neighbourhood, he was worried most of the times if Brian is ok when Denis is not here.

"Hah... Fat... Yeah you are so fat that your clothes a tight around your body" He said jockingly as he looked at Brian's perfect body, he was so so handsome that he didnt even knew how Denis was able to hold himself when he is around this man. The movie was almost over, but Denis was so tired that he was probably going to fall asleep.

And soon the movie ended, Denis eyes were starting to close, you could see how sleepy and tired he was only by looking in his eyes, the box of pizza was almost over and the glasses thaat were full with soda were empty. But Brian saw how lazy and tired Denis was so he went and did everything for Denis. Denis usually slept on the couch, but this time he was so tired and Brian was taking too long so even without Denis realizing, he fell a sleep on the floor in Brian's room, he was laying there on the ground sleeping so deep and calmly and wasnt even able to hear Brian shouting that the bed is ready.

He looked back in direction of his room once he noticed that Denis did not answered. Walking back he looked inside and noticed he was already long sleep. Smiling he let out a content sigh and decided to leave him there for now, grabbing a clean bedsheet he covered his friend up before turning off all the lights and finally going to sleep himself. He looked up to the ceiling as he heard the soft snoring sound coming from Denis. Slowly he closed his eyes falling into a long deep sleep.

Meanwhile outside the virus had taken over the entire city, quickly the virus spread affecting anybody . A bite or a scratch caused them to die and then wake up as a zombie. Next morning came early and outside there was a unusual and almost scary silence. Brian was still in a long deep sleep as he always was locked up in his apartment so things going on outside were of no importance, that is until now.

 

[Nicky]

Denis was so deep asleep, nothing could wake him right now. His hand was underneath his head as he was laying on the floor on his side, it was not the most comfoortable place to sleep on but he really could have fallen asleep anywhere right now, he was just so so tired. Yes Denis usually snored when he was sleeping, but those sounds were not loud, he was just breathing heavily, it wa shard to breath when he sleeps, its cuz he has asthma, he still usus and inhaler for his asthma but not that often. Brian knows that Denis can't stay in small places filled with people... Thats why he never goes to a club, to many people are there and the room gets filled with cigarette smoke and he jsut can't breath.

In the morning Denis woke up early, usually he always wakes up early, cuz he has to go to workearly in the morning, but today he is not at work, he has a free day today, that means he can stay with Brian. Opening his tired eyes he brushed them with the back of his hands and yawned loudly. Once he opened his eyes he felt he was laying on the floor on his back and when he looked down he saw that he was covered with a bedsheet. Which made him smile, Brian was always so caring, he covered him up so he won't get cold at night and he didn't wake him up even if he was laying on the floor. Denis yawned once again and he sat up, sitting on the floor he grabbed his phone from his pocket and checked the time "7:18... So early" He said and yawned again. Staying up he turned around and saw that Brian was still sleeping on his bed, he wondered what it would be like if they sleep together in one bed. He wondered and he got carried away, he was so close to the sleeping Brian, wanting to kiss him gently on his lips, but he didnt... Shaking his head he turned around sighing stretching his arms and neck and then he left and went to the bathroom.

 

[Kiroz]

Brian opened his eyes feeling someone walk around the wooden floors. His eyes scanned the area and noticed that Denis had woken up. Yawning Brian stood up and stretched his back, he always got up early so he could do his workouts. Walking over to the door he looked up at the bar at the top of the frame and placed both of his hands on it slowly lifting himself up until his shoulders were at the same level as his arms before going back down and lifting himself back up again. Finally he flipped his body around and locked his foot on top of the bar and began doing lift ups by lifting the upper part of his body as high as he could.

"1....2....3...4..." he began counting each time he did the full pull up. Finally hanging from the ceiling he did noticed something strange, it was quiet, way too quiet". Jumping down to the floor he walked up to where the window were and looked down, there were fire everywhere and people attacking other people. "What the fuck...." he grabbed his telescope that he used to see the stars and looked down, people were just bloody and some of them with terrible wounds just running after people. "I must be still dreaming about Resident Evil, yeah that is it!" he walked to the bathroom and banged on the door, "Dude come out fast, something is going on outside!".

[Nicky]

Once Denis was in the bathroom he walked straight to the mirror and stared it in for a few secounds. He was still too sleepy to even move and he looked how he funny he looked in the mirror with his blonde hair all messy and he looked so so funny... Looking down at the sink he turned it on and placed his hands underneath it, so that water made them wet. He brought his hands up to his face and placed them on his face cleaning it, he did that a few times before turning off the water and drying his hands with a towel. And then he grabbed a comb that was Brian's and started combing his hair, before he heard Brian calling him from outside.

"Just a minute" Denis said probably knowing that he can wait just a secound so that Denis can look at least nicely. Once he was done combing his blonde soft hair, he left the comb from where he took it and opened the door and exit the bathroom "What is it?" Denis asked curiouse, but still too sleepyto care much. He was thinking of going and taking a shower, but he will have to wait he guessed, he wondered what was going on cuz now that he actually looks at Brian he can see how nervouse and worried actually he looked, that just made him worrie as well "What?... brian what is going on" He asked worried waiting for an answer.

He shook his head, "I really have no idea how to explain, either we are dreaming or the world went nuts". He backed away from the telescope and pointed down to the street, "See for yourself". He walked over to the window and looked out himself, "It's like the fucking movie came reality or something. Are we still dreaming bro or is this really happening out there?" he walked over to the tv and turned it on to the news but nothing but static appeared, "Fuck, shit". He sighed and made sure that the door was locked and the gate was secured.

Denis looked at Brian confused about what is happening he couldnt understand what he ment, but then he saw Brian leading him to his telescope, Denis walked to it and moved his head coser and looked outside.... "The fuck" He said, swallowing hard as he saw what was going on outside.... There were like dead peoples, zombies eating peoples, fires everywhere, the street was amess and it was filled with zombies outside, if those things were zombies or something.... Deni's jaw dropped and he just stepped back from the telescope and turned around to look at Brian... Denis wrapped his hands around himself, feeling scarred and not knowing what to do, he just couldnt proces what he just saw.

"Wha... What are we going to do?" He asked with worrie in his voice with a hand on his forehead feeling his head starting to hurt... He was scarred he didnt knew hwat they are going to do, but he surely didn't want to show to Brian how scared he was even though maybe he won't be able to hide it... Denis just stood there frozen without moving, it was obviouse he was feeling disturbed, scared and confused, but he didn't want Brian to think he was weak.... It is just like in the movies... and crazy as it is in the movies.

 

[Kiroz]

He sighed and sat down, "First we need to calm down and turn off all the lights, if people see the lights in here they might want to get inside. The apartment is secured for now with the door, I doubt those things fly anyways. We need to gather as much water as we can just in case the water goes out. I suggest you charge your phone just in case we need to run out of here. I hate to do this... those things are my babies but I need to take them out dammit!. You take as much water as you can on every can or bottle you find around the house, put them on a corner next to the door".

He scratched the back of his head as he disappeared into the the second room, the room that he did not allowed Denis to enter much because he had collectibles inside. Walking into his closet he took out what appeared to be two scabbards of two katanas and the sharpening rock. Coming out he placed both swords on the floor and sighed, "Pick one, we need something to defend ourselves and this is the only thing I have. While you gather water I will sharpen the swords".

 

[Nicky]

Denis took a deep breaht, he was starting to breath heavily, and he was trying to take as much air as possible. Denis nodded at Brian he had to calm down damnit, but he really couldnt, he just cant it aint that easy... He wondered if they will end up like the peoples that deiad, he wondered if they will become undead as well, he didnt knew he was scarred, but it seemed like nothing had disturbed them yet... But they really can't stay here forever, they may ran out of food water, the two most important things and what will they do then.

Denis was just about to go and gather some water, that's what Brian told him to do, but he stopped right next to Brian when he saw him bringing two swords... Why didnt Denis knew he had swords, was he a ninja. "That one" He said pointing to the one Brian's left hand, he really wanted to know why he never knew about this swords, but not now, he could care less right now, when there is such a big problem really.

Denis walked to the kitchen and checked every drawer for bottle of water, or other drinks, it didnt matter, they just had to be empty. He found a few some big some small, but even if the were small they still needed them. So e started filling them up with water while they still had water, and at least he was able to fill all of them and there was still ater flowing for now... Denis walked closer to the window in the kitchen and he noticed that more from the zombies were gathering around... there was no living soul outside only dead and nothing else which made his eyes water and he brushed them with the back of his hand, but his eyes still looked a little red.

 

[Kiroz]

"Calm down bro, look we need to remain here for awhile because this place is secured. I have food for a few days, this is the worst part of it. When those things start spreading around we will go out and see what we can do. For now we will stay here and barricade ourselves inside this apartment". Standing up he closed the window and covered it with a blanket, "We don't need other people to come here until everything calms down a bit". He sits on the floor and begins to sharpen the blades taking the one Denis picked first, "These things belonged to my father, he collected them and passed them on to me".

He finally finished up with both and placed them next to the door leading out. "We need to get a good bath, we will not know when will be the last time we can take a bath so we better take care of all that stuff first". He walked up to his room and grabbed two bags starting to push clothing inside both of them, comfortable clothing and as much as he could. Finally he sat down on his bed and began to shake out of fear, clearly this was scaring the shit out of him but he needed to be strong for Denis.

 

[Nicky]

Denis heard the words that Brian was saying, he looked straight in his eyes with fear in his eyes, butBrian seemed so calm, like he knew exactly what is going on and what to do about it, he was trying to calm down, but not compleatly. His hands were shaking in fear, his body was shivering and he was starting to breath hard again... "Ok ok" He said sitting down on the floor with his hands on his face brushing has face thinking that this is a dream, wanting all of this to be a bad nightmare and nothing more, he wanted to wake up, in his mind he wanted to belive this was only a dream but it wasnt.

"Ok" That was all he said, he really should go and take a bath, maybe the water will calm his nerves a bit, he didnt knew, the only thing that made him calm and comfortable right now is Brian. Only when Brian was around he felt safe... But now Denis was alone in the room, and Brian was in the other room... "Brian" He called the man's name and walked to where Brian was in the other room.... Denis sat down next to his best friend on the bed and hugged him tight, his arms wrapped around the man's shoulder and he burried his face in Brian's shoulder. He felt safe with Brian, he wanted to hold him tight without letting him go and that was the only thing that made him calm.

Brian sighed as he heard the shower turn on, finally he looked out the window from his room and saw the same thing. People biting each other and killing each other, shaking his head he went back to his bed and tried his best to calm down, his hands were shaking without control. He had never been so afraid of anything in his entire life, however he needed to put up a front of bravery in front of his best friend, Brian had the feeling that he was doing worst than even Brian himself. Finally he heard the shower turn off and a short time later Denis came out. Feeling the hug calmed him down a bit however he did not wanted Denis to find out his secret, not just yet anyways.

Standing up he grabbed a towel and sighed, “I better take a bath before the water goes out”. The tone of voice changed clearly he was worried. Walking to the bathroom he closed the door behind him but did not locked it, what was the use anyways?. Reaching for his pants he pulled them down and saw his naked body on the mirror, the body that now would try his best to survive. Turning on the shower he let the warm water hit his body and release the tension of his muscles as best as it could without any real success about it. “I need to tell him that I like him… however how are we going to be together now that the world went to shit?” he talked to himself but unknowingly loud enough for anybody nearby to hear.

(Hey just saying that I never said in my post that Denis took a shower, I was going to make him take a shower after Brian)

Denis hands were placed on Brian's back and they were gripping his shirt tight not anting to let him go, his eeyes were closed and he was breathing hard, Brian can probably feel Denis hot breath against his neck, he felt so much safe and so much better with Brian close to him, like Denis was a little kid and waited for his big brother's instruction, but Brian was something much more to Denis then a brother, he wanted to be with Denis to expres his feelings, but look what is happening now, the world is changing and he has no idea what will happen to both of them.
