Rachel opened the door to her home and walked in. She had been picking up Napoleon her new room mate, a great dane - pit bull mix. Although Rachel had always wanted a dog, but it had been chance that got her set up with Napoleon.
The 21 year old blond, had gotten a call from her ex-boyfriend James this morning, who had told her about a friend of his, who was selling her dog for a real bargain. Rachel had jumped at the opportunity and driving all the way out there and gotten the dog. Napoleon's previous owner seemed very happy about getting rid of the dog, however, the young blond didn't care much about that. She was happy to have her new roommate and nearly no cost.
Being only about 5 feet tall and fairly thin, Rachel was looking rather like she was no match to her big dog. However, having owned a few dogs as a kid, she was sure that she could handle Napoleon without trouble.
"Come in boy, this is your new home. Just wait a moment and I will get you some water. You must be thirsty from the drive and the heat out there." Rachel smiled at the dog and patted his head. Unlike her he could not dress in a light summer dress, poor Napoleon had to wear his fur no matter how warm it was. "Just feel like you are at home here." She giggled and got a bowl of water and placed in on the grown in the kitchen.
