Erik cursed the powers that were not knowing or caring for the time who to blame. He blamed himself because he should have known better, and he cursed the higher powers simple cause he was scarred. Though, most of all he blamed Sidney the man who kept the city in his side pocket. Erik had not moved out of the man's way while he walked down the street, and because he had not been paying attention called the man a buffoon. With Erik's great fortune instead of a rough 'reminder' the man decided to take a special interest in making Erik's life a sort of hell on earth. It started with him getting fired for submitting a work paper inaccurately causing a large accounting error. He knew he never sent it in, but could not prove otherwise, and upon returning to his apartment he found a eviction notice with less than three days in it. The courts had claimed he got the notice back months ago. Then for the grand icing on the cake his car, and most his possessions were taken to pay back state taxes he had properly paid.
Erik a good looking man standing at 6'2 with short clipped black hair a little freyed with all the troubles of the day. This would be his first night in an alleyway as he had nothing left, but the clothing on his back. A tan shirt clinging to a strong body meant to show off his muscles a little. His simple brown overshirt making him look better off than he was doing at the time. Clean blue jean pants that were loose around his legs able to hide most of his black boots. His simple black belt wrapped around his waist most had thought him ready for a job interview yet no one would take him right now. He knew Sidney would forget about him in a few months, but if he could survive that time was the question.
His dark emerald green eyes scanned the small alleyway knowing full well that the area was not really safe, but considering he had not been able to sleep much the last three days. He knew he would not be able to stay standing up so with some reluctance he created a small shelter to hide himself from view only to sigh, "How could it get any worse". As soon as he spoke the skies with a quick reply began to roil out promising rain very soon. Erik nodding his head as if to say 'but of course' tried to stamp his foot for what little relief it would offer only to have an exotic bottle fly from under his foot sending him flat on his back with a shattering sound not to far off. Erik did the only thing he could do at a time like this he began to laugh at himself.
