Listen. The mole rats are great. They can burrow and carry the plague. It'll be great. The elves are fighting the giant mole rats because they carry a magical infection that will wipe out all other supernatural creatures, allowing the mole rats complete dominion of the pre-sentient humans.
 
You have elves and giant mole rats and pre-sentient humans. You could put this shit on Pangeia. That means Mega Mammals and dinosaurs 'n shit. Imagine an elf war band riding into combat on velociraptors.

The velociraptors revolt against the elves and it takes an urchin elf child who possesses the rare ability to empathically communicate with them to placate them before they decide to join the giant mole rats. That's fucking intense.
 
Omg, I'm busting up over here. Even though, I'm with you on the whole elf and cyborg stuff. Not my thing either. I like...hmm...serial killers who suddenly have a heart after a night of real passion with someone who tries their best to understand the thrill he gets from murder.

God, I think I might be weirder than the elves themselves.
