First Request thread here, forgive me if I rush through things...
First and foremost, I'm into gritty detail and realism. Time, setting and plot can vary widely, but Dragons and imaginary Kingdoms dont interest me, neither does non-con or rape, I'm here to satisfy a love of writing and story, not just a smut based escapade!
However, I do like smut, who doesn't. But with character development and plot, thats key. I would say I'm more a fan of Erotica than smut.
I write 3rd person, ranging anywhere between 2-6 paragraphs (Depends on whats given, You cant write a mini-novel every post, which is understandable!)
I like literate partners, but I'm not a grammar Nazi, and as long as there is a basic understanding I'm sure we can get along fine.
As I said earlier, I only like realistic plots, whether modern, historic or even future set (haven't tried that before) there has to be a degree of realism, grittiness and plot. I love good characters and development, where we can both include supporting characters and almost create an entire world to play in. I also, only write as OC's, I find playing an already established character, is too restrictive, at least for me.
PLOT IDEAS:
--I love the story of Macbeth, it's easily my favorite Shakespeare play (What, you dont have one?) and I'd love to take an influence/idea from it. The whole thing of Lady Macbeth influencing/plotting behind the scenes with her husband to take power seemed like a great basis for a RP. I imagine it being set in Medieval/Renaissance times, but the idea of a woman being just as powerful as the man, and them two conspiring to gain power/money, but with her being more subtle and behind the scenes sounds like the basis of a great partnership.
-- A Vampire love story. I recently watched the film 'Kiss of the Damned' and quite liked the angle they told it from, it was an erotic thriller with Vampires, really dark in tone and graphic with highly sexual characters. I'd love to try something based off this,a classical love story but with Vampires, either modern or Victorian, you decide. Two characters hundreds of years old or really intrigues me! An 'Adult' twist though.
-- Realistic life settings, Room mates, ex-Lovers, Newlyweds or even something slightly more taboo, I'm fine with them all. I'm sure we could develop something together. I wont post ideas per se here, just routes we could, plots we could develop.
--'Only Two Lovers Left Alive', I've had this idea recently, partly inspired by 'Only Two Lovers Left Alive', which concerns Adam and Eve, who have managed to survive through time and history and are still alive in 2013 (or the present time). They have lived all over the world, seen every great moment through out human history and experienced the full range of emotions possible. They in turn, love and hate each other equally. Though, will be, and always have been connected with one another mentally, even when they are separated.
I dont know where the story goes or what we could do with it, but theirs something there I know. I'd love to work on something if anyone's interested.
--Abusive/Toxic relationship. I seen 'Raging Bull' recently, the whole dynamic was really interesting, the temperamental/volatile relationship where they were friends one minute and madly in love, only to be fighting the next.
--Bonnie and Clyde style RP. Set more modern perhaps, with a Male/Female bank robbing partnership, perhaps this and the last one could be merged even. Where violence, greed and money destroy and strengthen the relationship in equal parts.
--Some form of Game of Thrones style RP.
I know I dont offer many solid ideas, but I just have so many outline and ideas, I cant think of them all..
