It was safe to say, she didn't quite like her stepmother. It was something in the way the woman was that she just didn't like, whether it be that look of sneakiness on her face, or just because she was and had taken her Daddy from her. Well she just couldn't have that, spitting out her toothpaste into the sink as she pushed her hair back again into the towel that was drying her dark hair. There was a plan forming in that pretty little head of hers, body wrapped in the plush fabric of a bathrobe. She knew she was going to have start working on prying her father away from that snake of a woman, rolling her eyes softly as she could hear her moving around downstairs. She was probably fixing breakfast, mentally gagging at the thought as she pulled on the pair of cheer leading shorts from last season.
A bra tightened behind her back, the female pulled a simple pink tee shirt onto her upper half, moving downstairs barefoot and immediately regretting having gone downstairs so quickly. " Oh! Good morning Charlie! " Resisting the urge to grit her teeth, Charlotte who was usually only called Charlie by her father, faked a smile as she moved into the kitchen without too much sound. " Morning. " Charlotte said as she pulled orange juice from the refrigerator, eyeing the food on the stove top before looking to Brianne, " Oh. Sorry, I didn't know you'd be up so early, so I only made breakfast for your father. " Bitch. She knew she had done it on purpose, Charlotte resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the woman, only smiling again as she began to make herself a bowl of fruit, " It's fine, I ave to stay for practices. " Or to ring your neck. Sliding up to sit on the counter and disregarding the look on Brianne's face as she plucked at her fruit bowl, knowing the older woman hated her sitting up on the counters like that. There was a tension in the air between the two, because Brianne had said more than enough not so necessary things to Charlie.
So many, that the women were almost in a silent competition for her father. Too bad Brianne was about to be completely replaced. Grinning softly as she ate a strawberry, and took away the urge to push the woman's face into the skillet, they both waited contently for Charlie's father.
