"Oh." was her answer at his explanation about what kind of person was his roommate, somewhat unsure whether he was just kidding or saying the truth. Though, given she was talking about her boyfriend it was probably just him making stuff up. Then again, this would explain why he never called her over to his place until just now. On the other hand, looking around, she was surprised to see the house this well kept. Given how much of an 'artist' was Alex, she always expected something... messier. In general, the artists would be sort of lazier when it came to cleaning around. And that fact she knew it from her own experience. After all, it was because of their common point of interest that they got along so well. Or, well, at least, most of the times.
Grace always loved painting and felt close to anybody who appreciated any form of art. Needless to say that when she met Alex, she couldn't help but fall for him because of his kind nature and his artist side. And strangely enough, even after finding about the mood swings, she still couldn't leave him because there was this strong attraction. It was weird, but, she actually even this blunt side of his. She herself, has never managed to express herself very well, so the way he had the courage to say anything he wanted was definitely inspiring. She did hated it when he would say everything so bluntly, but she still had to admire the guts.
As a girl, Grace could only be ashamed that her boyfriend's room was this neat, while hers... well, let's say it wasn't the messiest, but neither was it the cleanest. On a side note, she would have to keep in mind to never invite him over at her place. Or just clean up her room a couple of days before he would visit. Leaving that matter aside, she did catch his murmur and dumbly smiled, obviously satisfied and happy with his sudden remark. In fact, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to take a photo together and have it in her room. Yep. This would definitely be her next plan.
The brunette blinked as he got a hold of her hair, until she figured he was just squeezing it because it was soaking wet. When their eyes met, however, she slightly blushed and turned even redder as he confessed his feelings for her again. Instead of voicing out an yes, she nodded and placed her hand over his, loving the feeling of his palm cupping her cheek. "I... I love you too." she almost whispered, averting her eyes only for a short moment before her emerald green eyes locked back on his eyes.
