The day was almost half way over, college had been taxing today and Jonn was tired of it already. He was tapping his pen on his desk, English was almost over and the hands f the clock seemed to have stayed still for the last half an hour.
Finally relief came at 3, he bolted upright and got his stuff together and headed for the door. The professor was a dinosaur and he had that old man smell no one liked. Getting out of the there was the only way to get that smell out of your nose. Jonn had walked these halls a hundred times, and there was no need to look up as he moved. Thoughts plagued his mind. Essay in three days, work tonight till midnight, meeting with Cindy tomorrow for lunch... Cindy, the one thing that put ease on his beaten and bruised brain. The well endowed blond was everything a guy like Jonn needed. Of course he knew he wasn't too bad himself, standing at an even 6 feet with short, black hair and dark eyes, clean shaven to reveal his handsome, angular features. Yes, he had his time with women, and like fine wine, he, apparently, only got better with age.

He was done for the day, and had nothing to do till 6pm. The essay was bullshit, nothing more, just some words on how music had changed recently. He pushed open the doors with force and walked quickly out onto the street, crossed in and entered into the parking lot. The car he opened with a key was an old, 2001 Honda Civic. Black, the best he could pay for. Working was tough, but he needed to do it. Having no parents and a sister to look after demanded it. The drive home was short, 15 minutes with traffic.

Jonn got out after parking in front of a detached house, clean and new. The furniture placed properly. That was one thing his parents had left them, a decent place to live. But even that was going to the dogs, neither of them had time to clean up. Well, he was unsure about his sister, but at least Jonn knew he didn't have time at all. He opened the door and threw his gym bag on the floor and bent down to take off his shoes. "I'm home!" He called out, not bothering to look up. "Give me a minute or two to just sit own and I'll begin to cook dinner!"

Delani's eyes fluttered open at the sound of the front door opening and closing downstairs. Groaning, she stretched out a bit in bed, wishing that she could've slept a little longer. For the second time that week, she had stayed out late on a school night, leaving her beyond tired by the time she had gotten home that afternoon. Being a senior, she got out at 1 as opposed to 3:15, which made it somewhat more bearable. With a sigh, she sat up in bed, her long dark auburn somewhat messy from having tossed and turned in her sleep. Rubbing her eyes, she stood up, grabbing her shorts off the floor and slipping them back on before making her way downstairs to see what Jonn was up to.

"How was class?" she asked, her hazel eyes meeting his for a moment before she walked into the kitchen, digging through the refrigerator to try and find a drink. "We need more juice." she called to him as she poured the last of it into her cup, tossing the empty carton into the already full trashcan. Though she had never really admitted it, she depended on her brother more than anything. She had always been spoiled growing up, and after losing their parents, he was all she had left. Even at 18 years old, there was no way she would be able to make it on her own. Even if by some miracle, she could start doing things on her own, she still needed his attention. It was something she thrived off of, and when she didn't have it, things between them became tense.

As much as she depended on Jonn, Delani typically just did her own thing. Of course, she had school and her part time job, but when those two things didn't occupy her time, she was more times than not out with friends partying or getting into some kind of mischief. Usually, that had been enough to keep her content. Before, Jonn had never really gone out all that much. His main priorities had been school and taking care of his sister. However, now that he had begun to let go a little and start to go out more, Delani found herself becoming more needy. Whereas she never used to care what Jonn did in his free time, she now found herself needing to know what he did at all times, trying to make sure that as much of his time as possible was spent with her.

"It was alright." Jonn said, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he walked into the kitchen. He saw her take the juice and he pursed his lips, of course he really didn't need any right now, he'd be fine with...a glass of water. "I'll get some on the way back from work." He filled a glass with cold water and leaned against the counter while drinking it. His eyes roaming from Delani to the trash can. "And I'll take that out." He said quietly. He finished his water and washed it as best he could in a rapidly filling sink. Placing it aside to dry he wondered how work would be. As a supervisor in a popular bookstore he knew for one thing that it would be busy.

But right now he had 3 hours to kill, right? 3 hours was enough for fun, video games, music, leisure reading, something like that. But Jonn only frowned and looked down. He had to do that damned essay, as insignificant as it was, he needed to finish it quickly. "I'll start cooking at 5, get dinner done by 5:30 and then I need to leave." He began to walk upstairs. "Don't wait up for me or anything, and just leave the food in the fridge, I'll make us pasta or something tonight." He made it to his room, sullen as ever. Jonn hoped for a little bit of respite from it all. He thought he'd get it, but nope. At least seeing Cindy was something he could look forward to. "I'll be in my room if you need me."

On the counter, in the kitchen, Jonn's phone lit up from a text sent by his girlfriend.
If Delani cared to check it, it would have said,

'Hay babe!
I'm gonna be a little late for lunch tomorrow, but I'll see you at the cafe at 1 instead of 12:30!
Have my drink ready for me plz!'

"Mmkay." Delani mumbled, not really paying attention to what her brother said as she checked FaceBook on her phone, reading through the latest status fight between two of her friends. It wasn't until after Jonn had gone upstairs and his phone went off that she finally tore her eyes away from her own phone, glancing down at his. Usually, she would've looked away just as quickly as she glanced towards it, but when she saw Cindy's name pop up on the screen, she couldn't help but feel compelled to look. Though she'd never really even spoke to the girl, Delani was already convinced that she hated her. After all, anyone that competed with her for her brother's attention was nothing but a burden in her mind. She knew that Cindy didn't see it as a competition though. Deep inside, she knew the girl meant no harm, but she didn't care. She was used to having Jonn to herself, and this just wasn't acceptable.

She sighed, trying to think of ways to get rid of the girl before Jonn became too involved with her. She knew that she couldn't simply express her feelings about it. Jonn wouldn't understand. If anything, he would just call her selfish. Perhaps a guilt trip would work. After all, he had been incredibly busy lately. Between work and school, he hadn't spent as much time with his younger sister as he typically had before. If somehow, she could convince him that she really did miss him and that she wasn't just trying to hog his attention, maybe then he would vow to devote more time with her, and less with this new girlfriend of his.

Debating ways to play out her idea in her head, Delani started by putting in some effort around the house. She figured, maybe if she did something for once, and expressed to Jonn how grateful she really was, he would be more likely to give in to her demands. While her brother worked on his essay upstairs, she started dinner a little early, figuring it would give him time to eat before he left rather than having to wait until he got off late that night. Maybe then, once the two of them sat down to eat together, she could start dropping her hints.

It had been just about 2 hours since Jonn had started working on this essay. The problem was that he had major writer's block. Nothing came to him after he had finished the opening paragraph. He sighed and leaned back in his chair. His eyes darted to the lower right corner of his laptop to see the time. Jonn almost bolted out of the chair, it was 10 after 5 and he would be late, only 20 minutes to make dinner. He rushed downstairs to find that the smell of food was already in his nose. He paused for a moment, looking, open-mouthed at the kitchen where Delani had clearly been working. Immense relief had washed over him. 20 minutes to spare, 20 minutes to eat something and not start a 6 hour shift on an empty stomach. He moved to the kitchen and pulled out plates from the cupboard. "Thanks." Jonn muttered to his sister. "Saved my ass, sorry I couldn't have come down sooner."

He was a bit frustrated, that stupid essay was taking more time than it needed. He sat down at the table across from his sister and spooned food into his plate the moment it was served. He still had no idea Cindy had sent a text, and right now the one thing on his mind was that he was able to get some food down his belly. He wouldn't have had to have left so early but his shirt started in the middle of rush hour and he knew the streets would be total gridlock.
"This is good." Jonn said, taking another bite. He hadn't realized how hungry he was. He took one more bite and then got up to grab water. "Good to see I can actually trust you with the kitchen, sis." He said, grinning a little at her. Jonn moved back to the table. "How about you, how did classes go for you today?"

The meal wasn't anything spectacular, considering Delani had never really cooked much of anything. Just pasta with canned spaghetti sauce, but nonetheless, it was better than no food at all, and she knew that Jonn would appreciate it considering how busy he seemed to be. As she waited for the pasta to cook, she took the liberty of deleting the message Cindy had sent Jonn, that way he would never see it. Then, he would still go to the cafe at 12:30 instead of 1 like she had told him. Then, perhaps it would look as though she had stood him up. She knew that the action was malicious, but she didn't care. She was determined to make sure no one came between her and her brother. Now, what she needed to do was figure out what Cindy could give him that she couldn't. Then, she would find a way to give Jonn all the things he needed, making it so he wouldn't have a reason to seek out anyone other than her.

"You seemed busy, so I figured I'd try and help." she told Jonn with a light smile as he made his way into the kitchen. "And I actually wanted to be able to see you for a few minutes." she said as he sat down at the table. "It seems like you're always busy with something.. I guess I just miss you." she told him, a hint of sadness in her voice. She tore her eyes away from him, staring down to try and avoid his gaze. It was something she always did when she was upset, and she knew that he would be able to tell that something was up. All she could do was hope that he would respond to it all the way she had imagined.

"Hmmm..." Jonn thought on Delani's words as he chewed on some pasta. He looked up at the ceiling for a moment. "Well, we need someone to stay on top of things." He joked, winking a little at her. He finished his food quickly, as always, and leaned back in his chair for the next 10 minutes. It was good to lean back, relax and forget about things for a while. Good to just be with his sister, sort of like old times. "That's kind of you to say, Delani." He said softly, "Really, I missed the stupid shit we'd get up to." A small smile crept over his face. "Like the one time we wrestled and I fell down the stairs." He chuckled. "I don't think I've ever seen you that scared in my life." He played with his fork for a moment. "Or when I scared you on Halloween 5 years ago. In front of all your friends and you punched me in the face. My nose wouldn't stop bleeding but you and I were both laughing."

Jonn chewed his bottom lip. "Always seems like I'm the one who gets hurt when we try to have fun, eh?" Jonn stood up and took his plate and placed it in the sink, washing it before putting it on the drying rack. "Maybe we can do stupid stuff like that again sometime..." He trailed off. "Maybe soon, hopefully soon." Jonn moved to get his gym bag out of the doorway. "Did Cindy text me? I think I left my phone down here when I went up."

Delani smiled as she recalled the memories, thinking back on all the things the two of them had done together in the past. They really had been close growing up, and that was part of the reason she was so dependent on him now. He was all she had left, and if she lost him, she would have nothing. It was then that she realized, it wasn't just about having her brother's attention 24/7. She truly did miss him. Now, she felt more determined than before to make things right again. She didn't know what it would take, or how far she would have to go, but she was going to have Jonn to herself again. Then, they would both be happy. She just wished it could be a simple task. Simply telling Jonn how she felt wouldn't be enough.

As Jonn spoke, the smile she'd had quickly faded. "Maybe.." she muttered to herself, repeating what he had said. That hadn't been the response she had been looking for. Irritation plain on her face, she stood abruptly, slamming things around as she began to clear their dishes and pick up the mess in the kitchen. "Fuck if I know." she mumbled in response to his question, giving no indication that she had seen if Cindy had texted him. "For your sake I hope not. She's a whore anyway." she added, facing away from him as she started to wash the dishes.

"Woha, woha!" Jonn said, turning to face his sister. "Where the hell did that come from?" The surprise of her words had shocked him. Of course this wasn't the first time he'd heard her use bad language. They were teenagers who grew up together, of course he'd heard her swear, and of course he knew who she hung out with. Jonn didn't exactly approve of Delani staying out too late, at least not when she wouldn't call, but he knew she wanted to have fun with her friends, so he let her. "You need to calm down, sis!" He said, walking to her side. "That was totally uncalled for. Since when did you have anything against Cindy?" He inquired. "I mean you and her hardly ever talk, you're just being a prejudice idiot."

It frustrated him that suddenly everything turned bad. Delani had no right calling Cindy a whore. This was her first relationship, which came as a surprise to Jonn. He frowned at Delani. "You take that back, and I don't want to hear any more of this down-talking to anyone. Especially behind their back." He threw his fork into the sink and walked up to his room. "Clean that up, I'm going to be home late tonight, with your fucking juice."

Delani laughed bitterly as he spoke, shaking her head as she threw the dish she had been washing back into the sink. Why did he have to be so clueless? Why couldn't he just see that all she needed was him? All she wanted was for things to be the way they used to be, but now she feared that wouldn't happen. Finally, she turned to face him, staring at him angrily. "Since when do I have anything against Cindy?" she asked harshly, repeating his words in a tone that made it seem as though the answer was obvious, which she thought it was. "Since she stole my brother from me!" she practically screamed at him, tears filling her eyes as she shoved past him, ignoring his command to clean the rest of the kitchen up as she stormed off to her room.

Slamming the door behind her, she collapsed onto her bed, groaning in frustration. Wiping the tears that had filled her eyes away, she silently wished that she could go back and approach things differently. She was so used to getting what she wanted, and when things hadn't gone her way, she overreacted. She knew that her actions were selfish and unreasonable, but she couldn't help it. She didn't care if Cindy was the nicest person on the face of the earth, she couldn't have her brother.

Jonn stood there in silence, halfway up the stairs, holding on to the railing. Before long he realized that he had been looking at one single stair for over 5 minutes. He shook his head slightly and looked up, blinking. He realized that he was gripping the railing tightly as well and pulled his hand away. Delani's words rang in his ears over and over again. He sighed and waked up to her room Maybe she was right? Maybe he had been away from her for too long? No, that wasn't it, she'd understand, after all, with the way she looked he was certain she had boys after her as well. It just took a little careful explanation, that was all. Jonn had no idea that Delani had been feeling this for some time, and that Cindy had made all of this worse.

He knocked on her door three times before opening it. "Delani," Jon sighed and walked in, closing the door behind him. He moved to sit on her bed. "Listen I-" He cut himself off, how would he talk about this. "I'm not being stolen by her." He smiled but it was a fake smile, only used to lighten the mood and nothing more. "I'll always be your brother, not Cindy's." He moved a little closer to her and placed a hand on her shoulder to turn her around. "Delani, look at me." He said softly. "Hey..." He put a little more force and turned her onto her back. "I'm not leaving you..." He sighed and pursed his lips. "Just explain to me the problem, tell me everything, we'll work it out."

At that point, she didn't know what to do. How was she supposed to fix this now? She jumped at the sound of her brother knocking on the door, having thought that he had already left the house. She said nothing as he walked in, remaining curled up on her bed with her back facing him. It wasn't until he pulled her onto her back that she finally met his gaze. Some of the tears that had been threatening to spill out of her eyes had leaked onto her cheeks, making her look all the more pitiful. For a moment, she said nothing, contemplating on how to word it all so she wouldn't just end up upsetting him again.

"Its just.." she started to say, pausing for a moment. "You're the only person I have Jonn. And lately, its like you're not even there." she managed to say, quickly looking away from him once more. "I just miss you." she told him for the second time that night, wishing that he had missed her too. He said he did, yet he hadn't done anything about it. She sighed, trying not to think unreasonably. "What does she have that I don't?" she asked him after a moment. She was honestly curious. There had to be something that Cindy offered him that she didn't, otherwise, he wouldn't need her.

Jonn didn't really have anything to say at this point. He just looked on at Delani in silence.

"Delani." He said finally, Jonn never used a nickname for his sister, some of her friends did but he just kept saying her full name, he didn't want to say otherwise. "I only go away to do work so that both of us can be taken care of. You know that. Cindy and I have been in class together for 2 years now and we've grown a little close. She's-She's my girlfriend, you know the kind of role that fills." He said, looking away from her. Being in a relationship had its clear-cut rules and expectations, at least for the general public it did.
"You know what it's like, I mean look at you, are you telling me that there have been no boys in your life? No one who's made you feel happy or calmed you down?" He cupped her cheek. "Let me come home from work, I'll hang out with you then, if you're not out drinking with your friends that is." He said with a smile.

Delani rolled her eyes, turning away from her brother once again. He just didn't get it. "None that ever mattered.." she mumbled truthfully, wishing that Jonn would just drop the subject. Of course, she'd had her fair share of boyfriends, and she'd even hooked up with a guy from her english class a couple of times, but those guys never lasted long. And they certainly didn't give her an overall sense of happiness, not the way Jonn could.

"I'll see you later." she told him, the fight in her drained for the time being. As he left for work, she really began to consider what he had said, trying to piece it all together so that she could find some way to accomplish her goal of getting him back. Suddenly, it all seemed to make sense. He said Cindy was his girlfriend..so that meant she could things with him that Delani couldn't. Or at least things that Delani shouldn't do with her brother. But what if she did do those things? Then Jonn wouldn't need Cindy, or anyone else for the matter, and Delani wouldn't need anyone else either.

Jonn's time at work went slowly. His stomach started to growl again, it was bad enough that he had to go through a shift with an empty stomach, but being late on top of that...his boss wasn't happy. The store closed at 9, but now came the boring bit, restocking till midnight. And he had school at 10 the next day. Jonn was fuming, Delani's last words weren't helping either. He wished she could get it, he really did, Cindy wasn't a problem. She needed to see it from his perspective.

But Jonn wanted to get back into her good books, and he'd make an effort to do so. He promised himself that, after all, she's the only family he had.
Driving back was a pain in the ass, it was raining hard and Jonn couldn't see to far ahead, that slowed him down, it took him almost an hour to get home, even at this time some of the roads were too crazy to drive on.
Jonn entered the door and shook the rain out of his coat and hair. "Delani!" He called, hoping to amend this with her. "Delani can I talk to you for a moment, please!"

Despite how tired she was, Delani didn't sleep like she usually did when Jonn worked late. Instead, she thought of ways to get him back to her, playing out ideas in her head. She knew that she was going to have to do things that society, or anyone really, wouldn't approve of. But it wasn't like anyone needed to know. Her and her brother could be each other's little secrets, and then, they wouldn't need anyone else. She knew she couldn't just jump him and expect him to accept her actions though. She needed to get him interested, and then make her move, but how?

She was still laying in bed, trying to come up with some kind of plan when she heard the door open and close, followed by Jonn's voice calling up to her. Taking a deep breath, she made her way downstairs, making sure to look as sad as possible when she entered the living room. "What?" she asked quietly, her voice lacking the cheerful tone it usually had.

Jonn watched Delani come down the steps. 'This whole thing." he began, "With me and Cindy and you...I can at least get something out of it, something to help me calm down. It feels like I'm the only one here who gives two shits about what's going on." He walked into the living room and threw himself on the couch, looking down at his hands. "I work my ass off all the time and you don't seem to give a shit, you just want me home." He bit his lower lip, things weren't going the way he wanted them to go. "And Cindy..." He sighed, "What does she want? I don't even know, no clue at all...she comes and goes now that we're in a relationship it's like she's got me and doesn't need to work at it anymore." He turned to look at Delani.

"Know what I mean? She does nothing for me, I have to text her so often just to have lunch, and I don't even get a response. How the hell do I make all of this work?! I have a girlfriend who doesn't even want to touch me!"

"If she doesn't do anything for you then break up with her." she told him as she crawled into his lap, straddling him as she turned to face him. "Just stand up for yourself. You deserve better than her." she told him, running her fingers through his hair as she stared up at him. She sighed, laying her head on his shoulder as she settled against him. She knew that he was probably wondering what the hell she was doing, why she was so close to him, but she didn't care. She couldn't wait any longer.

"I'm sorry that I'm so difficult.. I don't do it on purpose." she told him as she rested against him, relaxing as she felt his warmth against her. "I could make it up to you though.." she said softly, lightly running her hand down his chest. "I could give you all the things that Cindy doesn't." she added, allowing her hand to travel lower as she tilted her head up, gently pressing her lips to his jaw.

"Del-what are you-" Jonn wanted to push her off, his hands even went to her shoulders, but the feeling of her in his lap, straddling him, touching him, her warm lips upon his jaw, her hand trailing down his body. He had wanted all of this from Cindy, how could he not? His grip on her shoulders tightened a little as his mind struggled to make sense of what was going on. Despite the fact that Jonn was often so busy things had always seemed to make sense, to be logical and orderly. But this, this was different, this was new, strange and...interesting. He didn't move his head away, he allowed her to touch him, Jonn even moved his hands down to her hips and threatened to slide them under her shirt.

"You know we shouldn't be doing this..." he said softly, falling more and more to Delani's whims caused by her touch. "You know I have a girl..." He sounded weak, breathy and tired. Then one of his hands slid up her shirt to touch her skin. He began to feel his blood rush, a bulge formed in his pants.

"So?" she asked softly, letting her lips brush against his skin once more. "We've both done things we shouldn't have Jonn.. whats stopping us now?" she told him as her hand slid down his stomach and onto the bulge in his pants, her fingers tracing the outline of his cock. "I could be your girl." she said, kissing him once more, her lips moving closer and closer to his own each time. "I could do so much more for you than she does."

Finally, she allowed her lips to meet his own, kissing him softly at first. She sighed contently as his hand slid up her shirt, knowing that soon, he wouldn't be able to resist her. Deepening their kiss, she placed her hands on his chest once more, holding onto him as she began to grind into his lap. She could feel herself getting wet between her legs, moaning softly against her brother's lips as she rubbed her pussy against his hardening bulge.

Jonn found himself pushing his hips back up against Delani's body, as if he were slowly beginning to dry hump her. His fingers pressed against her skin as if they wanted to feel as much as they could. He sighed with pleasure ,it came out strained at first, but then released into something more natural. Then he felt her kiss, he kept his lips closed for a moment, unsure of whether or not this would work, and if it was really happening. But Jonn opened his mouth slightly. It was getting easier, the longer he touched, the more he wanted to touch of her.

It reached the point that his cock began to hurt in his pants, as if it was threatening to burst forth so that he could claim her in a way he'd never claimed Cindy. "Maybe we're taking this too far?" Jonn said, but slid his hand up her body anyway, the tips of his fingers tracing the bottom of her bra, almost hoping it would pop off so he could feel her breasts.

(Sorry for the late response, went out of town for a few days.)

Delani felt a need within her that she'd never felt before. Her want and desire for him was stronger than it had ever been for anyone else, and in a way, it frightened her. She shouldn't want him like this, and she knew that, but she was past the point of caring. Her body seemed to melt into his own as he kissed her back, letting her tongue slide into his mouth. With each second that passed, she could feel herself getting wetter and wetter. She knew then that she wouldn't be able to stop until she had him inside of her.

"I want to go as far as we can.." she said in response, brushing her lips against his ear as she spoke. "Take it off." she whispered, her hands fumbling with the buttons on his pants as his fingers brushed against her bra. "I know you want to touch me." she told him as she slid her hand into his pants and boxers, encouraging him to go further.
