What is the maximum amount of characters that can be posted?

I'm forwarding myself the whole length of an RP, and trying to condense it all in a few PM's, rather than one at a time. Instead of trial and error, can someone tell me what is the maximum amount of characters that can be typed in a reply - for post, and private messages? So I don't have to try and guess.​

Oh man... I honestly do not know what the max character length is. I can see if there's a way to check via the Admin CP, but I don't recall ever seeing that anywhere. If it's not in there, the only one who can answer this is Vek since he's the site operator/technician.

The message column in the database for both pms and posts is a text column - specifically, 65,535 bytes.
