The order was sent a few days ago. A scientist went mad a few years ago and many who was sent there to eliminate them never came back. No one knew who this scientist was except that they were mad. Sintaru Koboyashi was hired to deal with the scientist. Her friends called her Sin for short because she looked like a true knight in shining armor. Her appearance was deceiving to many. She was born with a feminine face, but from a distance she looked more like a guy. It's what made her one of the best soldiers the kingdom had to offer. Sin made her preparations before she'd set out. Sheathing her sword she sighed to herself. "Man I hope this goes easy for me. But knowing my luck it won't be. Seeing as so many who have gone to take care of this mad man hasn't come back since. Guess I'll just have to take my chances and see if I can outsmart him." She said to herself as she grabbed her magical pouch and left her quarters. Little did she know though that the scientist wasn't a man, but a woman. As she left the kingdom she took out the map from her pouch and looked it over carefully. "Three days walk... Lovely. But the faster I get there the faster I can get this done the faster I can get home and get to planning on the war." She sighed to herself as she let her blue eyes wonder around as she made her way through the forest. She was careful though as she made her way through the forest. She was however, thankful that she left while the sun was still up, after all traveling through the forest at night was hell and impossible to see where she was going properly. She made her way through the forest camping when nightfall came and carrying on the next day. Two days had passed and she was starting to notice several changes within the forest. Animals and creatures she had never seen before. "The hell is all of this...?" She questioned as she looked at the creatures with curiosity in her eyes. She had seen many strange things in her very long life but nothing like what she was seeing right then and there. She noticed one of the creatures was looking at her, it looked like it was a panda but it wasn't. It was something else. It reminded her of when she was little. Her parents raised her around wildlife, and she had seen many creatures. Hell her father raised pandas to help keep them from going extinct since many people hunted them down for their furs. Being an elf Sin had more respect for nature than most humans did. She loved animals and always enjoyed being with them. She always found herself at peace when she was with them. Her wolf had stayed back in their kingdom awaiting for her return, though he knew if she didn't return when she said she would he would go out looking for her. Kotaru was her little warrior as she called him, he was a rare breed of wolf however. Normal wolves didn't have a long lifespan, but Kotaru was with Sin since birth. Sin was 3,549 years old, still rather young for her kind, but for Kotaru he was known as a elven wolf. They are only found were elves live and they are few in numbers. Kotaru use to be her mothers companion till she was born and he chose to stay by her side. From what her parents told her, he stayed by her mothers stomach when she was pregnant with Sin and never left her side. When she was born Kotaru barely let her parents near her, that's just how protective he was over her. He wasn't like most canines though, he was highly intelligent and understood everything Sin told him. He was the perfect companion and friend anyone could ever ask for. Immortal like she was, he was her animal companion for all eternity now and nothing could separate them.
Night was starting to fall down which made her stop in her tracks. She had been so caught up in thinking about the past that she set herself back by a night! She should have been closer than this! "Damn it!" She snarled as she drew her sword and cut a tree down in half with one swing out of her anger. "Well looks like I'm camping near here tonight." She sighed as she sheathed her sword and silenced herself as her ears twitched as she listened to see if she could find water nearby. Closing her eyes she listened intently and then she heard it, running water. She opened her eyes and made her way to where she heard where the water was coming from. As she made her way through there she noticed that even the plant life was different and not like it should have been. "This is all very weird..." She stated as she got near the water. The air was strong with some strange scent as she drew closer and closer to where the flowing water was and then she was there. It looked like paradise but she knew something wasn't right. Yet she knew she had to camp here for the night before getting herself ready for tomorrow. Setting up her tent she then looked at the water as she could feel a calming aura coming from it. "I haven't bathed since I left and I might as well take advantage of this while I can." She sighed as she undid her armor and laid it down near the edge of the water, laying her sword right next to her armor as she slowly slipped into the water. It was rather warm, which was not common in most places. But then again this entire place wasn't normal. Granted she shouldn't have came there, let alone got into the water but she wanted to relax and get cleaned up a bit. The water felt so good against her body, so warm and relaxing. Too relaxing. "This doesn't even smell like normal water... I wonder if... If it tastes like normal water..." She questioned as she took some water into her cupped hands and brought it to her mouth as she took a sip. It was sweet. Like nothing she had ever tasted before in her entire life. But when she drank it her body started feeling slightly off. She tried to shake it off as she cleaned herself off and got out and dried herself off. She got back into her armor but her body still felt weird. Hot actually. Trying to shake it off once again she got some food out and ate it as she brought one of her goblets out of her magical pouch and dipped it into the water and began drinking it. The more she drank the more her body started to act up. She didn't notice anything till she passed out and didn't know of what was to come. Let alone did she know that she had been followed ever since she came to this part of the forest nor what would be awaiting her when she woke up.
