Everyone saw it coming. It could be felt hundred years ago, and now it was finally here. The complete absence of morals. The world was ruled by perversion and technologies, leaving no place for the human feelings. The times when one's life price had dropped to the 0,25 of a cent had finally taken over the earth.
"Are you fucking kidding me!?" Thana's fingers clenched tighter on the rough handle of the gun she had under the long leather coat, which was now soaking wet due the cold acid filled rain. A fast movement it took for the weapon to appear pressed against chubby man's forehead, and the terror in his small pig-like eyes made a twisted sadistic grin to appear over woman's face. "Scared, aren't we? Poor little thing...If you don't have money - don't fuck the ones who require it, you fucking swine!" A session of shots shook the alley, but no passer by even stopped to look - with no wonders it was Thana Corbet, the most dangerous person at this living sector. The woman who's appearance could only mean death.
Fire of insanity would appear in her pupils every time she could face her new victim - it didn't even have to be a person she knew. Antipathy from her could be as sudden as the storm in a sunny day, yet destructive and inescapable. Children, elders, handicapped... To Thana ever person was the same vermin inhabiting the world, despite their age, race or achievements. Having no education at all, this woman had surprisingly many jobs - prostitute, assassin, secret agent... There was only one little trouble with that - none of her clients had ever survived, and the man in the dark alley was just one of those who thought the bad luck which comes after this woman will avoid him. Ah, so many naive ones like him there were! Some were realizing it's their end midway, some believed until the very end they are safe...And yet Thana loved those who begged her for mercy, crying on their knees - killing them in such a pathetic situation could even give her orgasm at some times.
She sneered at the face ruined by bullets, and stomped on the dead body, crunching it some more with her boot. Then neatly removed blood from her coat with a simple white tissue, which soon changed the color and landed over the body of a dead man. Small chuckle escaped her lips as Thana turned around and went to the main district, looking as if nothing special happened - indeed, this was pretty much her daily life. Carefully, almost lovingly, she put the gun back to it's place - the inner pocket of her coat, and a small smile decorated her face as the familiar voice reached her ears. Even the ones like Thana didn't work alone, and her partner? She could even tittle her as a friend. Knowing the person will soon approach her anyways, the murder hadn't even turned around. And it was the major mistake.
Sharp pain pierced her shoulder within the moment as she felt hot breathe landing into her ear. A hot stream rolled down under her clothes, and Thana's eyes widened. Without turning her head, she could see the corners of attacker's lips going up, the ecstasy caused by the victory filling him and the looks of people who stopped just to view this incredible scene. There was something else, something Thana couldn't describe. Something wrong about this. It seemed like all the world had stopped at this moment. Just to witness how the most dangerous person in the sector was deceived. How the knife got stuck into her shoulder. Using the momentary weakness of the traitor, Thana for once again took out the gun. Through the fog she could see how the spirit of her so called friend left the body. But even this didn't make the world begin spinning again. Something was totally wrong. She felt weak and sick, dizzy even - was it because of the blood loss? No. It couldn't be felt this fast. People were just standing. She wanted to shot now all of them, they annoyed her as never before, Thana hated every single of them with all the hatred she had in her. But all she managed to do is falling on her knees and beginning to throw up until everything went black. At the very last moment before her consciousness went away, realization hit her - the knife was poisoned.
Sharp pain in the shoulder. The same sickness. She's about to throw up again. How much time had passed? Thana slowly opened her eyes, and immediately emptied her stomach again - the reality was now too harsh to return to. Carefully she sat up, but it was so terribly uncomfortable. As if something was suspending her. Pain in the shoulder again - she touched it just to spot a bandages covering it. Was she saved? By whom? Her body trembled at the chill, and soon Thana saw herself being naked -- but it wasn't what truly shocked her. The reason of her movements being suspended did - she was locked up in a cage, the same one where they were keeping dogs for slaughter.
