Shinichi(Left) & Kouji(Right) Kirihara
Male (19)
Both are in their final year of highschool due to the accident with Kouji refusing to go to school, and Shinichi in rehabilitation.
Kouji and Aya are in the same class, while Shinichi is in the class next door... though he seldom turns up for class.
Shinichi let out a loud yawn as he walked out of the bathroom, his ice blue eyes still half asleep as he swayed up the stairs towards his younger sisters room. They’re parents had passed away 9 years ago when Shinichi had only been ten years of age, leaving the three siblings with a fair amount of cash and a home to call their own. Initially there’d been talk of splitting the three up and distributing them around a few of their relatives but any sense of family their relatives had towards them had been quickly shattered when one of the uncles had tried to snatch Aya away from under the brothers noses. An event which had concluded with said uncle been hospitalized with a fractured jaw, their relatives had been quick to distance themselves after that, pointing fingers and whispering behind their backs.
Passing by his brothers room, Shin continued to walk down the hallway, his eyes briefly focusing on the far door which had belonged to their deceased parents, it had been nine long years since that accident but even now their parents room remained largely unchanged. Every now and then one of the brothers would help Aya clean the dust out of the room and keep the room looking clean, but the sense of warmth and family that had once intoxicated the room had long faded, leaving behind an empty husk of a shell that was testament to days long gone.
The far room however wasn’t Shin’s destination as he stopped a few steps short, his body turning and staring briefly at the a wooden plate that dangled infront of his eyes reading “Aya’s Room.” Another little trinket their crafty mother had left behind, it was a rather childish thing to have, but even Shin’s door downstairs was decorated with a similar wooden plate, carved in the shape of a rocket, he’d tried removing it several times but had always ended up putting it back, unable to sleep without knowing that the stupid plaque hanged safely on his door. A desperate attempt to keep things the same way they had been when their parents had been alive.
Knocking three quick raps on the door, Shin didn’t even wait before opening the door, slipping inside and making his way over to the sleeping figure tucked safely away in her bed. They still had an hour or two before they had to leave for school but Shin couldn’t even work a toaster without his sisters help, rather ironic since his arm was made with state of the art technology. “Hey Sleeping Beauty breakfast time” he smirked, poking the girl’s soft cheek with his human hand. “Come on Aya, Prince Charming needs his breakfast, or am I going to have to eat someone else?” he chuckled, leaning his face down close to hers, his lips dangerously close to her as his warm breath trickled over her cheeks.
