Okay so the basic idea with this one is the following, it takes place in modern times but old traditions are still followed by the royal family being portrayed in it. If a male responds to this I'll play the princess, if a female replies I'll play the prince.
Perhaps a prince or princess is almost at the age where his or her parents expect him or her to take over the kingdom so they can step down, they could have been arranged to marry someone from a rival kingdom but when reunited with a princess from a neighboring kingdom that perhaps the prince or princess grew up with. While spending the summer at the others kingdom the prince or princess could realize that she's really in love with the prince she grew up with, try to tell his or her parents he or she doesn't want to marry a complete stranger. Perhaps they could be forced to share a room since the castle is being remodeled, could have to share a bed. Things could happen, perhaps the prince could get the princess pregnant.
Or perhaps the prince or princess could fall in love with servant, or stable hand. They could have grown up around the servant or stable boy, it could be forbidden due to the fact that the prince or princess is already engaged. So perhaps during an engagement party or some sort of ball the prince or princess could try to tell his or her parents that their not in love with the person their supposed to marry, would rather be happy then miserable which would lead to a confrontation between the kingdoms.
