Backstory: Following a celestial civil war, Astriel is forced to flee heaven before archangel Michael can cast her out and strip her of her angelic powers. With heaven now under Michael's rule, any angel that previously opposed him is in danger. Astriel must take refuge on Earth, a planet full of supernatural beings and humans none the wiser of their existence. Besides avoiding Michael’s army of loyal angels, Astriel must also steer clear of Lucifer’s demons.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Loyal to: God (deposed by Michael)
Powers: super strength and healing, exorcise demons from their human vessels and send them back to hell, teleportation (heavenly transport), ability to hear prayers meant for her, healing of others
Pros: possesses great knowledge of heaven, supernatural beings, etc., can use any willing human as a vessel
Cons: knows very little of human life, can be banished with spells or warded against, influenced by vessel’s preferences
Personality: Astriel has a very dry personality. She has trouble understanding humor, and is easily confused by human emotions. She struggles with right and wrong since Michael’s takeover, and is unsure of what to do without God’s orders.
