The highway patrol car was parked between bushes as most night, positioned perfectly around the slight bend in the road to be out of view of careless driver's first look while keeping giving the officer a clear view of the offender and easy path to chase if need be.
Officer Clive Rusler was a lean man, tanned face of sharp angles and a pair of eyes that seemed to see everything. The man had a reputation for being tough and effective and tonight he was the only one working for miles on this particular stretch of road, favorite to a lot of the speeders and carfew breakers. The man was sitting in a relaxed pose on the driving sit, one hand lightly on the steering wheel while the other used for sipping out of a soda bottle.
And then he heard the screech of tires and in a flash the red mustang flew through the road in front of him, its vivid color shining even in the night and the flare of the hair in a youthful face and a satisfied smile crossed the officer's face as he put the soda down on the cup stand, start the car and put it in gear in a practiced move. His feet pushed at the paddles and with a smooth turn and forward he was on the road in pursuit of the lady.
His both hands on the wheel, eyes glinting a bit from the excitement of the chase, once again what looked to be a beautiful woman from what little he gathered in that moment the car had crossed in front of him. Clive looked a dashing man in his officers uniform, his tall six feet two inch body, lithe in the perfectly fitted dress, a stern, confident expression, someone that was easy to succumb to.
The woman or girl whoever it was didn't know what might be in store for her tonight. She might be lucky enough not to spend the night in jail for speeding and curfew and she might be unlucky enough to not go to the jail. It was all about perspective and expectations and who knew what the lady of the night desire in the secret depth of her hearts, maybe she didn't know herself.
Clive smiled as the flashing car slowed down, intelligent enough to know that in an empty open road escaping a police cruiser or trying to wouldn't be any kind of intelligent move. And as he noticed where they were parking, he waved his hand, showing the driver the side road. It was a logical choice since the ground opened up a little behind some small trees and bushes and the road narrowing down in this particular part making it wise for them to take their discussion a little on the side and keep the road open for genuine travelers.
