Miss Nyoko and I have been plotting a Stargate Roleplay on this site. We have, a decent plot cooked up, or at least all the components to use and abuse as needed and as the characters lead us. So you don't have to worry about that. What you do have to worry about? Serving the SGC and joining in on the fun and chaos.


Mission Briefing: Another new world contacted, PX-98901. The MALP was sent through, and found signs of habitation upon the planet, as well as traces of several minerals that could be immensely useful to various weapon and research projects back on Earth. A team has been assembled to travel through the Stargate, attempt to make friendly contact with the locals, if needed, discover just how rich the deposits of these minerals are, and perhaps set up mining and harvesting operations, and of course, find any significant technologies they can upon the world.


This RP takes place BEFORE the defeat of the System Lords. The Goa'uld are still out there, and still a threat. No one has even heard of an Ori, or the Pegasus Galaxy. There will be no use of Canon Characters (Excepting things like small bits from General Hammond, etc), all player character will be original characters.

We are currently looking for SGC team members:

1- Taken by Miss Nyoko (Historian/archeologist/linguist)
2- Taken by ArcturusV (Soldier)
3- Open/Miss Kikora (Depending on what she chooses)
4- Skelace (Engineer)

Locals: The locals are human through and through, with a unique culture (That will mostly be decided based on YOUR choices as some of these locals), and a technology level equatable Industrial Revolution Era Earth.

As many as want to join without overwhelming the RPage.

This is a little catchall area for me to put up thigns like posting orders, important tidbits that come up and might want to be referenced by others (Including information about the Locals), and whatever else I think should be easily viewable by the RPers.

Gender: Male
Age: 21
Equipment: Basic tool kit on him while out in the field with a P90 and M9 hand gun, and body amour. He carries a pen with him at all times, believing it is the best tool kit ever made. While in the field he also carries a Swiss Army Knife, with all the little features.
Description: About 5'9" and 140 lbs. his parents came from Ireland though he was born in America. This little red head is almost always in a happy mood ready to do the impossible and ready for pretty much that. Its hard to make him mad but when he goes off he's out for blood. A slight case of ADHD though he has learned to suppress it. His red hair is always in a mess letting it grow a few inches and never combing it. He graduated from Colgate University and was quickly ushered into the SGC due to some of his earlier works making near perfect replica's of the MALP, with a blueprint him and some buddies were able to find on the web.

This good enough?

Looks good to me. Arc will be the highest ranking soldier in our group, probably a colonel. You can be a lieutenant if you'd like.
 
I'll probably have the only unit commander in the Stargate program who doesn't crack obvious jokes all the time.

Name: Aaron T. Richards
Gender: Male
Species/Nationality: Human, American
Age: 34
Physical Description: Aaron stands 5'9" tall, and weighs in at a good 180 lbs. He's slimmed down in his old age, not keeping up his peak physique from his younger days, though he still shows signs of decent conditioning. Grey has started to come in on his hairline just behind his temples, over his ears, but otherwise is still a thick, black color. His skin is tough looking, sunbeaten and damaged over the years, giving it a fairly dark coloration which makes his light green eyes pop out a little more. He keeps himself clean shaven, and his hair cut down to a regulation flat top high and tight style.
Equipment: A P90 with five extra magazine, an M9 sidearm with two extra magazines. Six grenades, two fragmentation, two high explosive, and two colored smoke. Radio gear, survival rations for one week, modified anti-plasma weapon interceptor tactical vest, a single field knife, dog tags on a chain around his neck, and always carried with him one small billfold, with nothing more than his military ID, a few dollars, and some old pictures.
History: An old veteran who served 12 years within the Air Force. He was called back to duty after retirement to participate in the StarGate Program due to field experience, seniority, and a clean psyche profile deemed capable of dealing with what might have been encountered out there. He's had several offworld missions, though no combat against Goa'uld yet, mostly missions babysitting researchers and technicians, and occasionally making sure the locals weren't too restless.

Morrowind was the third, it is epic, bigger than Oblivion. I'm sure you'll like it.

Hammerfell was the second one, it's a free download off the site if you want to play.

To be able to play it, because it is a old game, made to be played back in late 1990's, you'll need DOSbox to play it.
