Ian didn't necessarily hate the rich. He only hated the ones who did not deserve their wealth. Especially Hollywood socialites like Katherine Harnash. Ian hated her to no end, for her fame. She did nothing to deserve her millions of fans, millions of dollars, and hours of cumulative media recognition. For years, he had wanted to punish her, release the anger and hatred towards her. Now was his chance.
He stood in the dark parking lot of the trendy nightclub, which Katherine was attending that night. He leaned his tall, thin self against a lamp post, watching and waiting for her, trying to not look suspicious. It was hard for him not to, considering the long black trench coat he was wearing. But he had been standing there for hours undisturbed. He had followed Katherine to the club, after finding out where she lived. Once she came out of the club, he would follow her to her car, and knock her out.
If everything worked as planned, Katherine's life of fame and fortune would be over forever.
